I booked a stay at this Hotel and arrived to find out it does not have a working elevator. It has been out of operation for sometime yet they continue to book without informing guest of the issue.

The property is in a great location, close to the places we needed to go. The staff in nice and thoughtful. The breakfast room was clean and the food was great. The property is close to the mall and doctors appointments we needed to go to.

Not good. Elevator not working. Torn carpet in room. Hair on clean towels. PD on location for disgruntle employee. Not very clean.

Looked like a nice place, however my room was dirty and beds weren’t made when I checked in. There were no towels at all in my room. At breakfast most all food items were gone and not replenished, no coffee in lobby. Room key stopped working prior to check out

Headed to big bend and flew in late for one overnight stay. Just what you need. Free breakfast to kick off the trip. Across the street from UTPB, tons of walking trails.

The receptionist was very nice and courteous. I was needing to check in earlier and luckily there was a room available. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was spacious and well lighted. The only thing that would make this hotel better is if the musty (odor trapping) carpet in the rooms was changed to a hard floor instead.

I love that the Fairfield is close to my Mom's house in Odessa so it is very convenient when I come down for a visit. The staff is always very courteous and friendly and the rooms are always clean and nice.

I have rarely written a bad review for a hotel, and never for a Marriott property, but this was simply unacceptable. We upgraded our room to the “Executive King” room. We were given room 301. The room smelled poorly and the sofa was stained to the point that we felt uncomfortable staying there-see attached photo of the sofa. The replacement room we were given smelled better but was also desperately in need of a refresh. Also the replacement room had a non-stop mechanical noise that kept us from sleeping soundly.
Frankly, we expect a level of cleanliness from all Marriott properties that this property did not have. We drove several miles off the interstate because we often stay at Marriott properties. We were shocked at the condition of this property.
The one positive thing I can say is that the receptionist was very pleasant and tried her best, given the limitations of what she had to work with.

Laura at front desk went over and beyond. She ensured our visit and accommodations were acceptable our entire stay along w wishing a great days every time we saw her. A e ample of great customer service

Clerk was curteous and had a nice smile. Hotel was ok. It was safe and clean and inexpensive which fit my bill.

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There were some large trucks there and parking was tight. I got my door dented by one of the oversized pickup trucks.

Was overcharged but money was refunded. Air conditioner in bedroom did not work. Hotel was notified but nothing was done about it. Pool was dirty. Don't use the laundry either due to no air conditioning in there either.

With one minor exception (and one that was quickly rectified), my interactions with all the employees were that they were genuinely helpful and eager to make my stay pleasant.
Weirdly, the shower curtain in the bath was too short to go in the tub, so with every shower, a significant amount of water ran on the floor. After the first morning, I asked to have a longer shower curtain and the first one WAS changed, but the second one was the same length. (The styles of curtains were different.) I ended up leaving a towel on the floor so my problem was solved. I suspect that the shower curtain rods were installed too high and for whatever reason, the management made no changes.
It wasn't just my room, I heard other people laughing about the shower curtains at breakfast.

Everything was ok even though there was some miscommunication about the rooms. We also didn't know we got charged 7 dollars per day for parking.

I didn’t know I had to pay for parking each night until I received my receipt. I was not happy about that. We also couldn’t get our room cleaned so I was not happy about that either. We arrived early am on Friday. I got charged for a night I didn’t stay. I think adjustments should be made for people traveling. We drove 14hrs 55min. The staff was very nice

On your website it shiwed a nuce bath tub and that was what we was expecting and it wasnt to our standards
