What a wonderful place to stay. Excellent service, very friendly, great location, easy access, what more can I say. Highly recommend this hotel to people who want to be close to St Marks Square, very good restaurants and high end shopping. We pre-purchased a deluxe room through Hotels.com back in December and wondered what our accommodations would be. We arrived a little early and could not check in but the staff took our luggage for storage and gave us a discount coupon for a restaurant near by. Had a marvelous lunch next to a gondola service and watched the gondolas travel by. Back at the hotel, we were told our room was almost ready but it would be worth the additional wait. We were not disappointed. We were given the penthouse that had a separate living area. A bedroom with a very comfortable king bed and a surprise. The bedroom window opened onto a staircase that led to a private patio on the roof. Our room was the only one in the hotel that had a name, not a number. It was the Antonia. I have to assume it was the best in the hotel. Breakfast was not included in our rental but was discounted if we were in the Antonia room. Don’t miss breakfast. We only stayed three nights but now wish it could have been longer.

Very good for the most part. Breakfast remains amazing. Possibly best display of food ever seen - easily lasts until mid to late afternoon before hunger sets in. Disappointed that roof terrace was not available for our entire 5 day stay due to reconstruction. I would have appreciated knowing this beforehand. It was one of the reasons we chose to return to this hotel. Changes have been made to the hotel- some good , some not so good. Example- removal of comfortable sitting area in lobby. Now there are small tables and chairs. However the breakfast room in the bar area gives much more space. Felt it unnecessary to have mirrors on the ceiling of our renovated room. Not a necessary feature for us.

The hotel was very clean, great convenient location to San Marco and Rialto….not far to walk to most things……easy check-in, modern room and nice bathroom with large shower…..great breakfast….friendly and helpful staff!!

A great stay and the hotel is so conveniently located near the ferry/water taxi. The staff are friendly, nice and helpful. The breakfast was great too with many varieties. Loved our stay and will stay again

Everything was excellent. My only comment is that I wanted a queen or king size bed, but I got 2 full beds put together, and during the night some times these would separate. It made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

Great hotel. We were in one of the bedrooms facing the square at the front - thank you for placing us on a low floor with a lift as we are all around 70 and one had just had a knee op. We were very surprised that the square was lovely and quiet at night times. The breakfast gave a good range of choice on the continental side. (I cannot comment on the English breakfast as I didn't have it). The hotel is ideally placed being about 10 mins walk from the busy St Mark's area. Would definitely use again..... especially as they have "proper" room service, unlike many hotels these days. My only complaint would be that the coffee provided in the room is really not very nice, but the shower is wonderful!
Incidentally, as the hotel tells you, use the orange line ferry from the airport. The men there told us to use the blue line rather than wait 10 mins extra for the orange one (and only 50 metres walk .... humph!) .... don't - the orange stop is very close to the hotel and much better when you have luggage to transport.

The room had no air flow and even though it was winter, the room was extremely hot. There was no way of reaching customer service or fixing the air issue so we had to stay up all night sweating. Additionally the room is just not nice and there’s no space to move around the bed or store your belongings without being able to walk. The bathroom was also extremely out dated and there was barely any lighting. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to vacation or stay for a pleasant weekend in Venice, do not stay here. It honestly ruined our vacation not being able to sleep or feel clean in this place.

First the staff at the front office was nice, we were offered a tour of a Murano glass factory which included a water taxi ride, we enjoyed this and were very appreciative. It shows the hotel was at one point was superb, however it needs a little update and some tender loving care. Being near the water, you can expect moisture however the matting inside the frame in our room had mold, we let the staff know when we left but it wasn't enough to ruin our trip or change rooms. We felt it was cold enough to avoid any issues.

Access to water taxis with luggage is vital in Venice. This hotel had an entrance on a canal just for water taxis and was only a few steps away from a public vaparetto stop.

The location was great, shopping, dining, transportation, and all of the hot spots were in walking distance.
The hotel is clean, the room was spacious, comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure.
My favorite part of this hotel was the hotel bar, there was live music, and great cocktails! The band was great, the bar was full, and it was a great way to end the evening.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. This was a great hotel for our 2 night stay in Venice.

The location of this hotel is excellent. You can walk to most places. Two minutes walk away is a vaporetto station. They serve up wonderful breakfasts, there’s something for everyone. You can also borrow rubber boots if the weather is nasty and there’s a bit of flooding.

Unbeatable location; 60 seconds from the Giglio boat stop on the airport line.. Clean and modern rooms with plugs, usb and usb-c charging ports beside the bed. Lovely breakfast and staff were so helpful. Will easily recommend to anyone going to Venice in future.

The hotel is located right beside one of the water taxi stops which is very convenient. Its in a quiet area and walkable to all the main sites. The hotel is unique. Rooms are small and older but quaint. Bathrooms are small. Hotel front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Really nice hotel in an excellent location for walking to St Mark’s Square. Alilaguna Orange line drops you off pretty much at the hotel.
Very nice breakfast with lots of choice.
One thing to note, whilst this hotel is very much advertised as being “Adults Only” there were lots of families with children stopping in the hotel. It was definitely NOT adults only.
This was only a minor point for me but my wife as a primary school teacher chose this hotel as she spends her entire work time with children and wanted a rest.
It doesn’t warrant knocking any stars off from the review categories but if you’re looking for a hotel stay with no children at all, as would be suggested by “Adults Only” then this isn’t the hotel for you.

Perfect location, close to food, shopping, water taxi stop with a quiet courtyard. All staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The daily breakfast was great with staff members who made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the building just down from the hotel on the third floor (no elevator) but the walk up the steps was worth the view from the balcony. Only one note regarding charging electronic devices - you have to insert the room key to get the outlets to work so if you take your key with you you cannot leave anything in the room to charge while you are away. We would highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again.
