This motel is much better than their southern counterpart. The room was surprisingly small but was clean. Most notable was the fact that they had real towels and not hand towels for towels.

Clean, comfortable, pleasant check-in staff - very convenient off freeway, and our room was in the back building so was very quiet. Overlooked parking lot and tree-lined boundary between it and next business. Had frig and small microwave.

Mattresses were very lumpy & bumpy so n comfortable at al No hot water MGMT and the employees gave us good service I guess at $67 a night that's all you're going to get I won't go there again

The front desk was amazing, I was not expecting much with it being a motel 6, in which I think we have conditioned ourself to do, but it is still a profession that should do better, the room was fairly clean but what ever they cleaned with was very strong smell in the room, it did not ever fade. The bed linens were dingy. But it did have an ice machine that I did not find in the last three places I stayed, and the shower was excellent, I stayed in 111. The curb appeal was ok until you went around the corner to the room. We had to leave the door open to get the smell out, but it didn’t work.

We were in Redding one night helping someone move. This location, availability, price and ease of reservation process were perfect. The two staff members in office were pleasant professional and very engaging. We will stay here again when we are back in Redding.

The blankets were very thin maybe they thought by adding 3 sheets it would be warmer. Yes there was a heater if it work only blew cold air and it was set at 85 degrees. The water never got hot.

Is an average Motel which is conveniently situated. We have stayed here many times for overnight stays in the past when we come to visit family in the area.

Motel clerk had an attitude, rude, frowny face, showed pretty bad customer service. It started when my son and I walked in to get a room we had reserved for two nights. My son just moved to another address he was in process of changing address on his ID. This clerk attitude changed he acted like my son was a criminal. He was only going to have him stay just for one night. Pretty BAD HOSPITALITY. I didn’t like how this clerk acted so rudely plus on top of that he was training another person, pretty bad example of a trainer to teach a person good customer service. I’ve been in customer service never treat a sorry to customer so poorly like this gentleman did. Sorry to make this story long . We left we did not stay there we went to La Quinta Inn they had a smile on there face and accepted my son’s ID even though his address was different we stayed two nights as we had planned. Thank you La Quinta Inn for showing excellent HOSPITALITY!!!! By the way Motel 6 charged us both $89.99 took it out of our bank accounts for not staying there.

Its really comfortable and clean. My o ly complaints are about a night time employee who decided to charge me $50 for my Boyfriend to come by for 10 minutes after work. I am aware of a extra fee for extra individuals just not $50 for my partner to visit long enough to smoke a cigarette and leave because of the employee coming outside and staring us both down. I am kinda surprised by the professionalism.

It is what it is, a Motel 6, you get what you pay for. Having said that, it really wasn't all that cheap. The room was poor, not very clean and had a leaking toilet.

Check in dude was low in charisma and cheerfulness. After a long drive, a smile and a hello is nicer than someone looking like checking you in is like taking out the trash. I have had my car robbed in Redding before ... they have lots of signs saying they are not responsible for stolen valuables. I know that's normal, but doesn't feel great. Looked like they did have a security camera, which the loser Red Lion Inn did not when my bikes got ripped off.

Came over 11:00pm. booked through expedia. Got a room which is the best deal around. Wish i was here earlier to eat at Matzalans before they closed. Glad i ddint spend more for a room for laying my head to sleep.

Cleaner and better maintained than other Motel 6 properties where I’ve stayed. One unusual and somewhat irritating quirk: they required presentation of state ID for every guest. I suppose that’s some kind of security measure, but I had to leave the registration desk, return to the car to get my family members’ IDs, then walk back to the desk.

Bad customer service... this guy at the desk wasn't interested at all ... During our trip we stayed at many hotels/motels in California but for some reason this is the only place where they needed id for every guest

Check in and front desk service was very good. Room overall was good--there were some marks on the bedding covers which I understand might not be easy to remove but it doesn't give a good feeling of cleanness. Shower had water in it which again didn't make me feel confident in the shower being clean. The room had everything I needed. You could hear the highway but it doesn't bother me personally. I have never stayed at a Motel 6 and whereas I realize it might greatly vary by location, this stay surprised me for the better. Especially when you take into consideration the cost, it was definitely better and above what I expected. I'd recommend this particular location, especially if you're looking for a quick overnight stay and/or are on a budget.

Room was clean, tidy, quiet too. No coffee or hair dryer. Numerous restaurants nearby. Costco and grocery etc just 2 minute drive away. Pool area could use a refresh but everything else was great. Thanks!

The room was small with 2 double beds. The internet was awesome but, we were right next-door to the office. Office personnel was nice.

Easy to find, close to the highway and restaurants. However, the beds were quite noisy and uncomfortable, the heater didn't work well and blew cold air on us off and on all night. The flooring was nice but in the bathroom something that looked like glue kept oozing up between the flooring planks. I had to cover it with a towel so we wouldn't step in it and track it all over.
