Need to mix up their breakfast selection. It never changed over the 7 days and most of the time it was cold.

Fabulous Balinese hotel. So quiet yet easy shopping and on the beach.Staff are lovely and always helpful.Definately stay again.

Great staff, room, friendly and amenities. Best in Legian. Could not fault it in any way.

Lovely Balinese accommodation. The staff especially Dewi & IB made our 7 days so lovely. So much to do around the PuriRaja and entertainment close by too.

Family style property with extremely friendly staff

Our experience at the Puri Raja was a good one and i want to be fair and objective for them and for fellow travelers. the property was going through some kind of renovation project and in Bali that means a bit of a mess. the construction guys were polite and respectful about their noise impact but it did lessen the experience somewhat. first. the bed was great! slept great. the sheets were a tad old and could use replacing. small things like not cleaning our wine glasses were noticed but the timing of room clean was handled very well. the pool area was nice, the lounges are a bit old and in need of updating but that was ok. the easy access straight on to Legian beach was exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was limited but satisfying to us. dinner wasnt so great but the proximity to great food in every direction made that a non event anyway. this is Bali and this is not a 5 star hotel so allowances for somethings like inconsistency in service must be expected. :-) the staff were all smiles and very friendly. if you want a 5 star experience they are available. If you want a more organic experience that still feels like Bali and not a resort you could find anywhere, the Puri Raja suits the bill. when it was time to leave, we were extended in our room far beyond what i hoped for and for that we are very thankful to the manager.

All staff exceptional, hotel beach front location, walking distance to shops, restaurants. Pool nice. We stayed in an old room which is functional but next time I would make sure its one of the renovated rooms. (looks like they are slowly renovating and improving)

The property is okay, with the location excellent. The rooms are clean, but it is a large complex, being long and narrow with reception some distance form the pool and restaurant area. Not really a big issue. The pool (near the restaurant) is nice but the whole area is quite small which makes it quite noisy with a few people drinking in the pool bar. Breakfast was okay, but not a buffet, and you order off the menu, then help yourself to fruit. My biggest problem was the construction going on outside my room which I wasn't advised of prior to booking. It was very noisy and disruptive. The staff didn't seem to care to much, so I checked out and went somewhere else which was much quieter. I probably wouldn't go back due to the pool area being so small, but it was an okay hotel, possibly a ,little over priced.

Great location, loved the ocean view whilst eating breakfast. Close to some fantastic restaurants and Mugshot Cafe around the corner has the best ice coffee I have ever had. Shower water pressure could be improved, but over all, loved our stay and will be back.

Right in the middle of everything. Beach bars shopping. Friendly staff loved it. They bought me pancakes for my birthday a great touch.

Nice hotel in Legian. We really enjoyed the private, quite Road in front of the hotel. You can walk to most places you would want to go in 30 minutes or less. The two pools at the hotel are great and the breakfast is very generous.

Stayed here a few times, older traditional hotel rooms getting a bit tired but overall not bad. Staff are excellent.

Better selection of coffee facilities, as i was leaving the hotel in the morning in search for a coffee with my breakfast.

The wi-fi at times could be a bit slow. The two pools meant that there was always a deck chair for a couple. On leaving it only took thirty minutes to reach the airport.

A smaller Balinese style hotel in a beautiful garden setting and the staff are extremely friendly Nothing is too much trouble

Took us a day to decide we did like the Puri Raja due to them not finding our Hotel.com booking. It took about 4 hours to sort out and get type of room we required. We liked having breakfast beach side but prefer buffet as there was limited choice. Not to have your order taken by wait staff, as sometimes they would forget you were the new person that had sat down and take other orders until they were reminded that we had been there for a while. The bed was comfortable, clean room, and although we had a dripping air con, it took 2 days for it to be fixed, due to the first time the repairer didn't fix the problem and we had to listen to the drip over the door for those nights. Thank goodness for air plugs. Having come from the Baleka at half the cost I was disappointed in this hotel. On a good note Front of house staff very friendly.

Great location staff and service

Lots of issues, had to keep repeatedly asking for things to get fixed (fridge was fixed 5 times til i insisted on a new one), mattresses were old and uncomfy (they ended up getting us new ones). Shower had mould, and bar pool had two rats running around. Was recommended by a friend , and they even said how bad it was last time they visited too.

Although the hotel could do with some bathroom updates it is comfortable, the staff friendly and affordable.

The staff were very friendly from the pool attendant, gardners to restaurant for breakfast. The views were lovely & nothing was too much trouble. Booking out was easy & very helpful storing bags before leaving for airport.
