Nice boutique hotel. Rooms very small, and difficult to accommodate small luggage. No closet. we felt a bit claustrophobic when in the room. Bed was comfortable enough.

Very stylish hidden spot. Really nicely appointed rooms, and nice restaurant downstairs. Room was on the smaller side (not much room for a large suitcase).

Love love love our stay!! Staff are friendly and welcoming, room was beautiful my sister fell inlove with its interior, daily housekeeping is great specially when you're travelling with a little one.

Lovely hotel, room was clean and tidy and staff were lovely. Hotel is close to tram and bus stops, and is a walkable distance from many shops, restaurants and cafes. Upon arrival, check in is at the bar counter so was a bit confusing as to whether I was in the right place.

The Morris Hotel is a hidden gem in Pitt Street. The furnishings are quirky and trendy.
The staff are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.

The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and polite. The only negative is that’s it’s difficult to find the hotel as there is very little signage and the lobby is also a bar/restaurant, so I was confused when I walked in to check-in. But that’s the only negative I have about my stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Sydney.

No room Cleaning in one day! We already put the tag purify me outside the room at 9:30 am but no cleaning was done upon our return at 21:30. The receptionist was not aware of it. Unbelievably the hotel management is so bad under Accor Group’s

Very nice staff, perfect location walkable from Chinatown, restaurants, and train and bus stops.
The room itself was smaller than expected - barely enough space to open the door and the bed took up the entire room. Being on the 3rd floor, the window provided no sunlight or view, as it looked directly at brick walls in all directions that were all within arm's reach.
When room cleaning was asked for, they only changed bed sheets and gave new towels - no fresh toiletries, toilet paper, or tissues provided, and the floor (what little of it there was) was not vacuumed.
The provided mini fridge did not get cold (even at the coldest setting), and the fridge door was warm (almost hot)to the touch. The fridge also appeared to not have been cleaned out since the last tenant, as there was a small carton of milk in there.
The room was also right outside the elevator, and you could hear the elevator motors as it zoomed up and down the hotel at all hours.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Charming hotel with character. We chose to upgrade to a suite as some rooms are very small. Upgrade was inexpensive, so well worth it. Sole downside was poor sound insulation between our room and the next, but overall great.

This new boutique hotel in Sydney’s Thai Town is a great addition to accommodation choices.
The staff are very helpful, the rooms are well appointed and overall the Hotel Morris is a must to check out for your next City stay.

The room was dirty. The power outlets & aircon were damaged. The room smelled, had about 12 cockroach bates in it and somehow we had to kill 6 cockroaches during our 5 night stay.

It’s basically a halfway house for people who can’t afford anywhere else.
The carpet in the rooms absolutely reeks and goes through everything. Some clothes had to be washed two times to remove the smell.
This is a place which attracts the sort of you would imagine, given it’s the absolute cheapest you can find.
Nothing from this place could be recommended.

Ceiling falling down and leaking, all they do is put a bucket down to catch the drips, never had anyone in to fix it. Fights most nights, police are always being called. Used condoms in the stairwell. Weed is constantly being smoked in rooms and communal area and staff do nothing. Staff are rude and unhelpful. No lock on the door so anyone can walk in. The kitchen is a health hazard, live flame burning with no cover constantly!! Air con never works, just drips and makes the room smell of damp.

I’ve been to a lot of hostels, but this was maybe the worst. Super dirty. In my room was sand on the floor. Trash everywhere. Bathroom everywhere stuff and very dirty, moldy.
There were even no windows! The smell was like somebody didn’t wash for a week.
The only good thing, the location was good :)

It is very noisy and not clean at all. Not recommended for family with kids. Family room is smelly and all facilities are not suitable for families. No regular cleaning services and bathroom not clean and beds are not clean and smelly.

The rubbish bin in the toilet was so full and they didnt throw it. I stayed for 4 nights and they never clean the bathroom inside the room. The lobby was very smelly and dirty.

It was my worst decision to book at this hostel, with the room rates that they charged! The nice photos on their their website were extremely misleading! The whole hostel was so dirty that I had to additional to rebook other hotels to stay for the rest of my trip! (Can't wait to get out of the hostel) The aircon was so noisy, you could hardly get any sleep! The room (triple room with bathroom) had this stale smell, it just puts you off immediately when you step into the room. We laid the disposable mattress and pillow cover on the bed before we dare sleep on the bed!
The dinning area was so filthy, you don't even the mood to eat proper meal there.
The last straw....couple bathing in the shared bathroom????
