We were met with hellos and smiles. Greatly appreciated the information and welcoming info. Dark hall and slow elevator but great bright room. Everytime we needed directions or help someone was right on it. Thanks

Fan in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off and was SO loud. Terrible
Lighting and no makeup mirror in bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good front desk service.

The Standard East Village is my “go to” hotel when I travel to the city. EVERY staff member I encountered on this trip - and the dozens of stays before - are kind, helpful, considerate, and incredibly professional. The options in the cafe are reliably excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable.

My wife and I travel to NYC at least once a month and we can’t say enough good things about the front desk in particular Khori. The service and attention to detail Khori and the rest of the Standard staff provide is always on point. I have stopped booking at other hotels in NYC because the Standard East village checks all the boxes for service, comfort, cleanliness and value in an excellent location.

The hotel staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was impeccably clean and quiet and the housekeeping team did a wonderful job each day. The food options are wonderful, and the location is in my favorite NYC neighborhood. I can’t wait to return.

Very cool property, but some things are so cool they are nonfunctional. Garbage cans are cool, but unless it’s a round relatively small object it won’t fit in the can. Bathtub is cool, but with nothing to hang on to, getting in and out is treacherous. We weren’t given the VIP perks we were expecting.

Another great stay at our favorite spot! Location is fantastic, rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and professional. Excellent customer service. No Bar on the ground floor was lively and fun. Highly recommend this great hotel for you next visit to NY!

The hotel ambience is amazing. The front desk was incredibly helpful with great suggestions for dinner and directions. We will definitely be coming back.

I parked in the reserved hotel parking in front while checking in. When I came out 15 minutes later, I had been ticketed. If the doorman had been doing his job, this would not have happened. Instead the doorman was inside the hotel chatting with the receptionist.
When I complained to the hotel, they told me to appeal to the city. The right thing to do would have been for the hotel to take care of the ticket.

Really good value hotel in the East Village. We had a 6th floor corner room which had decent views (albeit some dirty windows). Room size wasn't large (it's NYC) but adequate. Location is great, definitely a great property for the price - would definitely stay again.

The Standard was amazing. The view breathtaking, I was on the 20th Floor. The penthouse was absolutely above me and it had a balcony. Service was very professional and courteous. Bed very comfortable and the view from the bathroom with the lights dimmed 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel went above and beyond to make your anniversary celebration special. The quick check-in, complimentary upgrade, and attentive follow-up are all signs of excellent customer service. The personal touch of checking in on your needs and being friendly adds a warmth to the experience.
Will be returning to this hotel next time due to the great customer service. Shout out to the team that made my stay wonderful. Will show everyone pictures and recommendations
Tips: park at the hotel $40. You have to run in and get the parking tag and parking lot is only 5 mins aways by walk or driving.

Wonderful building design - rooms have a unique view of manhattan and building is not simple.

Our stay was wonderful! I’m such a tourist and couldn’t figure out the subway or bus routes - the staff helped me so much. The restaurant was great. Rooms were cute and beds comfy! Great location too! Would definitely stay again. 5 star all around.

The hotel is centrally situated and very charming. The staff is gracious and welcoming. My room was extremely comfortable and I liked the bath products. My only complaint was that the lighting could be brighter and the smell of the air freshener was heavy. I'd love to stay again and hope that these qualities are improved.
