The hotel was under construction and it should never be open while under construction. I was completely disappointed in the cleanliness of the elevator, halls, htoel room, the professonalism of the staff, not all staff. Our room was not serviced at all even upon request.

It was not on the website they were under renovation. Our room only seemed to be half done. There was no water in our toilet the thermostat was not working. It said it was 76 but was freezing no matter how warm we turned it. The staff at the front desk at first said the pool was open then we were told we could not use it. I went to check out and the girl at the front desk barley looked up from her phone and took my keys and didn’t even ask if I needed a receipt or ask how things were during the stay. The only good thing I will say is the breakfast was very good and the ladies that were taking care that were extremely attentive and made sure things were there. The construction workers were also very courteous .

Hampton Inns are generally nice places to stay & this one is not too bad considering it is going thru a renovation/remodel period . They are still maintaining a quality clean & the staff couldn’t be nicer & helpful in any way. My husband has dementia & doesn’t have very good cognitive skills so when he has gone to the lobby to get “something”or a little exercise he would forget how he gets to our room. The day manager, was so nice & would escort him back to our room if I wasn’t sure which way he had gone & I wasn’t there to pick him up & bring him back to our room.

Had to have our room changed twice. First because of the overwhelming smell of weed then because the toilet and sink didn’t work. Last room was ok but in the middle of a hall full of construction and paint everywhere. The upgraded room has blinds that are pointless because it did not block any light from coming in. It was like a spotlight in our room all night from the outside. Breakfast and coffee were yuck. Would not go back.

The facility was under renovations and there was noise from 3 pm to 6pm. There was no prior notification that were renovations going on. If there were we would have stayed elsewhere. We asked for another room farther away from the construction, and we were given a filthy room on the first floor with wet carpet and the strong smell of chemical cleaners. Apparently, the room next to ours had flooded. There was no parking due to construction debris in the parking lot. One truck was taking up 4 valuable spaces. I am a disabled veteran and I brought this up to the staff and nothing was done. The were what appeared to young unaccompanied minors walking the floors even as we left at 11pm. There was a strong smell of marijuana in our room, the lobby and even the common areas. My wife and I left as we did not feel safe to stay there. 3 times we asked for a refund to no avail. As we checked in, and out, there were many unhappy guests also expressing there dissatisfaction. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

The beds were not comfortable and squeaked every time you rolled over. Someone had a dog that was barking.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The window coverings did not close completely. The bathroom fan didn’t work well. Also, the cover for the drain in the shower was not secure. It was inconvenient to not be able to enter with our keycard at the nearest our room but I assume that was for security reasons. I will address the room charges separately.

We stayed for 2 nights, the first night we noticed we had no shampoo and the restroom light didn’t work, but we didn’t complain at first. The second night the restroom didn’t flush, and we had a horrible night, we were in the first floor, and there was a lot of noise in the upper floor. We called to complain but nothing happened. This is my first time writing a bad review, and it’s sad that we come to Mansfield often, we loved the area, but not the hotel.

The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean. The laundry facility was a plus. I had 1 load of laundry to wash before our flight the next morning. It was an affordable pleasant experience at this hotel.

Needed a room to hold our family of 5, they had a large suite. Breakfast was hot and tasty. I wish they had brown sugar for the oatmeal but it was still good. The hotel was clean and even had hand sanitizer outside the elevator. Very nice. I would have liked to know about the $50/day deposit before our arrival. I hope it doesn't take the full 30 days to refund it.

The wrong room was booked. The beds are horrible they are not pillow top. They were on a metal wire base. The breakfast was horrible. The air conditioner made a horrible noise all night.

We were in town for one night with our 3 kids under 10 for a series of hockey games. Had a queen suite on the first floor.
I don’t normally leave reviews, but this was one of the poorer stays we’ve had at a hotel.
First off, our room never fully cooled and the entire building was extremely humid and smelled of mildew. We arrived to check in at 2:45 and were told our room wouldn’t be ready for at least 30 minutes.
The upholstery on the pull out couch in our room looked and felt grimy and dirty. A host of raisins fell out of the pullout when we opened it. Barely any water pressure in the shower. When someone went number 2 in the morning, the toilet would not flush. We couldn’t get the tank to fill with water.
At breakfast, the cooler that milk and yogurt was kept in did not reach a food safe temperature and one of the small milks we opened had curdled despite not yet being out of date. The gravy for biscuits and gravy was also kept warm in a crock pot which I thought was a bit unprofessional.

Checking in and out everything went great. The front desk was friendly when I checked in and when I checked out housekeeping was also a friendly and helpful.

Excellent experience. Most impressive was the cleanliness of the rooms, lobby, and breakfast buffet areas. Coffee is available as of 4am for us early-risers, and the breakfast buffet selection was terrific. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a long day and just wanted to get to sleep ASAP!
Got into the room and it was already hot, ironically it was cool at night. I adjusted the thermostat like I usually would while we took our shower. The AC unit stayed on literally for 1.5 mins! By this time, it was already midnight and we were passed out. I kept adjusting the AC at night and it would not get cooler than we wanted it. And the mattress was not comfortable at all. This is the worst nights sleep at any hotel/motel Ive ever stayed. To be honest, the only way to make me happy again, would be a full refund! Really sad! We did find out the unit could have been adjusted the unit, which is the opposite of what the note said. Talk about a complete slap to the face, when we woke up. Breakfast was good and the gentleman helping did a great job.

Room was dirty. The bed sheets seemed to have not been changed as there was pubic hair in between. Sure was NOT ours as we aren’t blond. The bed seem to be broken, made loud squeaking noise as soon as you set on it. Walks were dirty, bathroom had dead bugs on the floors like it hadn’t been swept in a while. Carpet was also dirty like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Room served the purpose, but most definitely not staying there again. Don’t recommend it. Staff was not all that great. I’ve stayed at many other Hampton inn and have had a great experience unfortunately not at the one in Mansfield.

This was a disappointing stay. We were double charged and then told we had to wait up to 7 days after checkout before we would get our money back. This was a 4 night stay. Multiple times a day we would smell Marijuana which is unexceptable as we were traveling with our children. The beds are horrible and would wake up stiff and sore. The elevator seemed as if it was on the verge of collapse. I do not recommend this location.

Upon arrival there was no one in the front desk and I waited about 25 minutes until the young lady showed up. There was cleaning staff around but no one assisted or greeted me while I waited. This is my only complaint, other than that, the other front desk staff that were there the remainder of my stay (5 nights) were very nice.
The parking lot has bright lighting all around which gave me peace of mind when having to park at the back of the building. I stayed in the 2 queen large studio and it was very spacious and comfortable. The mattresses aren’t the most comfy but not horrible. All in all our stay was great and would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Upon arrival, I went to the restroom. The restroom smelled like Cheech and Chong just left. There were 5-6 teenagers running around playing hide and seek. The place was dated. The lady at check in was ok but the young lady that checked me out couldn’t even stay off her phone long enough to get me a receipt. Not exaggerating…just expected more from Hampton Inn. Definitely will not return. Not recommended at all. 1 star🖕

The carpet was soaked in half the room, and therefore so were my daughter’s socks. It reeked of mildew accordingly. The curtains were dirty and stained. The walls near the sink were dirty and stained, and the pillow were flat. Would never stay here again.

I checked in on Wednesday. We got a call Wednesday night saying we were not checked in and didn’t pay. They proceeded to charge me 2 more times Wednesday and one more time on Thursday. Manager Leslie fixed the issue and was happy with the resolution. Saturday we were charged AGAIN. We found out I was linked to another room and we’re paying for theirs as well. They changed extra charge to a smaller amount and still charged me extra. Owner refuses to answer calls/emails to help resolve this. No one will talk to me about a refund for the additional charge.

This is in a good area. However, I have stayed at the hotel next door many times before and it beats this one hands down on front desk staff help and politeness and the noise from the highway is not as loud at the other hotel (highway noise was terrible here). The room was clean and had everything we needed.
