The property needs to be updated and cleaned.

Pictures on web site must be old. Little run down like 70 style.

Very close to the beach and Tiki Bar. A nice place to stay for a few days.

I paid for an oceanfront room. Nope. There was supposed to be breakfast. Nope. Only coffee is offered—due to Covid, they said. It was dog friendly, true, but had to pay an unlisted fee. Then there was a “resort “ fee that also wasn’t included or listed on the website with the cost. I was NOT a happy camper. 😩

Its not on the beach and you don't get an ocean view.

It was a great location, older building but was freshly painted, good location. Nice full size kurig coffee maker with real half and half provided. The front receptionist was very nice.

It was great being within easy walking distance to the beach, jetty, river walk and restaurant. We had a nice ocean view from our room. The whole area was very peaceful until the weekend, when thoughtless people with extra-loud vehicles and ear-splitting music started driving/riding around.

The room was not very clean and it smelled like someone had been smoking in it recently. The furniture was stained.

This hotel is very old and in desperate need of some much needed upgrades. The bathroom fixutres were all rusted and looked very old. The paint on the frame of the bathroom mirror was all chipped and coming off, The balconies and stairwells were very dirty with dirt/sand/garbage and cigarette butts. These balconies are so small do not even try to enjoy them and even if they were big enough the A/C unit is so loud and blows hot air that it is not pleasant anyways. It is across the street from the beach which is convenient but I would not stay here again or recommend it.

The property is old but very comfortable and reasonably priced. We even had an ocean view. A little sprucing up and some deep cleaning and I would have given them 5 stars.

Sliding glass door lock broke. No way to wedge or secure it shut. Tv remote horrible. Too few buttons for what you wanted to do and most of the time they stuck. Amenidies? Rack of chips at check in counter. Fridge with drinks only ar lobby. Water 3 bucks. Want ice? Back to office. Way shabby and old. Royal beach sounds is all

Fantastic location to restaurants, beaches , jetty. Sweet pool. Good wifi. Room dirty, bed was old and dirty, bathroom dirty and ugly. Had to pay extra (resort fee). Staff at desk nice.

Rooms needed some serious updating..paint peeling off. Phones did not work & was not told this when I checked in. Very old furniture..had to make several tries to close the door that housed the refrigerator. But, the biggest complaint was that they charged my debit card before I arrived to check in!! When I made the reservation through Expedia I told them specifically I planned to pay cash upon arrival at the property! I have never had any card charged before I arrived at a property. I sure would not have provided my debit card to hold the reservation if I had known they would put the 3 nights charge, which was way to expensive for this room..$429.97 immediately on my debit card! I would have given a charge card to Expedia when I made the reservation!! Lucky for me that the Monday of my checkout day was a holiday so some of my checks weren't deducted from my account before I was able to return home & rush to the bank to deposit the $500 in 100 dollar bills that I had withdrawn from my checking account to pay the hotel bill for my 3 night stay!! I am a 73 year old lady living on Social Security who saved for this trip to see a friend I haven't seen in over 25 years, as she has lived in Norway for over 20 years. I just needed a place to sleep as all of my time was spent with my friend away from the property. I would have checked out immediately had I not just wanted to have a pleasant time with my friend & had there been more choices in the area, but I'm sure they know that!

We thought it was a bit outdated and smelled musty until we turned up a/c and opened window. Bed sheets had hairstrand in it..they appeared to have not been changed but all in all...we were traveling thru and just needed a place to put our heads down.

Nice cozy place to stay... room is not large, but has all amenities.

The room was adequate for our needs, however, it was very run down. We had trouble with the TV remote not working. Needs updating. It is in a nice area though, and we walked several evenings over to the different restaurants and to the beach easily.

The place nice and very roomy but it needs a lot of work the cleaning stuff looks like they are on drugs the apartments need a deep clean I mean a good one the rooms don’t have TVs in them the walks are disgusting the curtains had blood on them the list can go on they need to remodel bad

We’ve stayed many times. Good local food bar and live band, fishing, beach all within minutes walking. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Pets are allowed. Pool is great.

This is a nice place and convenient for Jetty Park. It is a little dated but the staff is above and beyond. Our only issue was that the air conditioner in our room was unusually loud when the compressor kicked in. Other than that we plan to stay there next year.

This has to be one of the worst places ever. It’s super gross. There was an inch of dust on all the blinds, on the fridge, in the closets. I had to get sheets to put on the coach to sit on it. The front door handle was wobbly like someone had to break in. The sliding glass door lock was broke and rigged. There were huge staples coming out of the wall by the sliding door. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. The entire place was literally gross. Thank goodness the manager gave me a refund and we only had to pay for 1 night. Don’t waste your time/money on this S-hole.

Old hotel. Comfortable bed and nice towels. No cable TV. Room was small. Friendly staff. Walking distance to live music at restaurants and the beach. No breakfast.

The only bigger issue was that we had a resort fee (I’m guessing this only exist to claim some of their money back they lose as a cut for booking through Orbitz, etc.), which is fine because I knew that when booking. However, I was told $41 when I arrived and she broke that down to $15.05 per night—-I was there for 2 nights. Math didn’t add up. I’m just hoping they aren’t tacking on extra money and pocketing their own $10 or so off each customer. Add another trash can in the bathroom please.

The bed has a fully in the mattress. One of the hand towels had lipstick on it. The freezer portion of the fridge was in desperate need of defrost and there was a drink left behind from previous guest. The air conditioner filters were filthy and the bed flat sheet on second bed had something nasty on it.
