We were coming back from the Keys and decided that we wanted to go to Sanibel Island to shell seek. When I looked for a hotel I couldn’t believe that I would get such a nice comfortable and roomy place to stay the night for the rate that I got but everything was wonderful.

Chose this hotel because it had decent reviews and for the price thought even though it’s pricey, it is a residence inn by Marriott and Memorial Day weekend. So it makes sense. Well, before getting there we asked for a crib which they said they provide and it wasn’t there even though they said it would be. Had to ask again. When it came I was hoping it was taken care of but it had stains. So we didn’t use. The room I got it set up on the first floor near one pool entrance, the gym, and the conference room. Noise from people all day and night. There was spiders in one corner of the room, I killed one roach accidentally when walking, the TV is facing the kitchen so I had to move the furniture around to watch, the shower is literally on the flat ground and you have a curtain for privacy which was weird and fills the rest of the floor up with some water, and I know more things that I just can’t remember now. I would not recommend or stay again. Was with friends who had an AirBB so I stayed mostly with them after finding these things.

Huge room. Nice fill kitchen I cooked dinner and breakfast there. It had everything you could think of. I had to work and the internet was strong and there was a nice desk and office chair. Nice dining area and sitting area. The pool and hot tub were wonderful I was able to relax before I my road trip. It is very close to the island and right beside a Publix. I had a perfect stay.

Clean and great location. However; be careful leaving something valuable in the room. We left a small bag in the closet and apparently the cleaning person didn’t found anything after check out. Are they supposed to clean and inspect each room after each guest. By the way the manager is the worse. Bad customer service

We had a good four day stay … we loved our room it had lots of space and pool area was nice and the business was complete with fresh fruit and yogurt and the staff was very friendly … would stay again

Toilet, overflowed overnight then there was 2 inches of water in the bathroom smells like sewage. Residence inns answer to us was to give us a 5000 points towards a bon voyage account which I find totally unacceptable A total refund of the room charge would be more like it.

This property was clean, the service was great and my family had a great time. Our dog came along and was quite comfortable. You could not tell that it was a pet friendly hotel- no smell or mess at all. Will recommend and will return!

My biggest concern was that my room had a lot of wear and tear. Although I had a coffee maker, there was no actual coffee carafe to make the coffee in. The cabinet door to the trash under the sink wouldn't close completely. The door between the living area and the bathroom/dressing room didn't actually fit the opening and could not be closed. The air conditioning unit, right next to the bathroom, as so loud when it ran I ended up basically trying to limp along without A/C. Wall paper in several areas was peeling off the walls.

The hotel was so bad we didn't end up staying there. The second we got off the elevator the hallway smelled moldy. The room was no better. There was mold growing in the shower on the tiles. The carpet was mildewy and the room stunk. The couches had stains all over them and had dirty clothes left in the cushions. My wife and I didn't feel the hotel was a good place to have our baby so we left within an hour of checking in. We were extremely disappointed that was how our trip started.

We stayed for a weekend with our family. The hotel is very conveniently located, the front desk staff is very nice and helpful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel staff welcomed us with a gift basket when we got to our room. It’s the small details like this that will keep us coming here! Plus, Sanibel and Captiva Island are right there! Perfect hotel for a beach trip! Breakfast was tasty too. 10/10

Property is recovering from Hurricane Ian, so construction noise was expected, but not until 9pm on a Sunday. Noisy room near lobby. Given a handicap room when not needs or expected.

We bought from the inventory that was shown to us a a Suite with a King Size Bed. Well when we arrived they gave us a double bed suite with a broken AC. So when we arrived it had a portable unit. Since we arrived late then guess what they sold our room to someone else. I complained and Hotels.com got us a walkaway and went to Hilton instead. We went to an embassy suites as the solution. Yes it was a great decision because the Residence Inn wanted us to change rooms the next day. At least we got to sleep in the next day at the Embassy and the AC was super cold.

Restored after Hurricane Ian. Thankful for this place being available while we worked on our Sanibel condo. Staff were wonderful & new colors beautiful!

Booking through Expedia was a nightmare. would have preferred booking directly with hotel but they had no rooms available except through third party booking companies.

This is a clean, friendly hotel. The pool was slightly heated- a big plus for me. The hot tub was nice. The dining area of the lobby is open for Continental Breakfast, but you can use it later in the day if you want to get together with food and drinks with friends. My one gripe has nothing to do with the hotel. Because of the last hurricane, there were few places to eat at night and not many choices for take out. The area is still recovering from the storm and it is a little vacant and depressing, but the ocean was gorgeous.

This hotel has built back nicely since Hurricane Ian. The interior was nice and clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The STAFF was above and beyond what we could have imagined. We greatly enjoyed our stay here.

The contractors and staff have done a GREAT job getting it back up in service. Although our unit was clean. The stains on the floor made it feel dirty.

Incredible! Entire hotel (lobby) eating and sitting areas, suites, etc. - and so stunningly clean and crisp. ALL Staff was wonderful. Outdoor amenities galore and smartly and attractively arranged!! Total package. Highly recommend.

The room was comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the hot tub. Everyone was friendly.
We were there for a family function so only used the room basically to sleep. My only complaint is the person in the room next door to us had a huge dog that barked all hrs of the night. Then the man would be yelling and cussing at the dog to hush.
My 2 yr old learned some colorful words lol.
