The hotel is shocking run down for a 5 stars hotel. We were initially given a very small room facing the indoor court area which was completely dark. We had to ask for a different room which was granted.
The hotel needs major updating

Noisy the floor was under pant Which caused us uncomfortable Unsound Proof walls

Just a dated place with a lot of things not working well, Such As AC WHICH WAS ON ALL THE TIME, Service guy came twice and nothing change. Shower water very hard to regulate, Either hot or very hot. A lot of things loose in the bathroom and falling apart. Location is excellent, Besides, that definitely is not worth what they charge for

Hotel had incredibly slow checkin and for some reason check in us at 5pm. The room was basic to start with but then when you actually notice the decor you realise that it is incredibly dated, with scratches and stains on nearly every surface may that me vertical or horizontal. The room was full of insects expecially beetles who outnumbered my family. Lol. The bathroom was the worst with beetles crawling under the toilet and the toilet seat. Not good if you wake up to go for a wee. It is incredibly close to the mosque, it has a mall and store on site so you dont have to walk to much in the sun. The pictures on websites show it is dated but they dont show you how dated. The carpet is worn to the extent where you can see its nearly coming apart. The one good element was omar at checkin who give us a free late checkout as our plane didnt leave till 1am. However my wife asked a female staff member who just said no to every option put forward. So i guess its who you speak to. The hotel is close to the mosque is its only saving element. Other than that i will probably never stay here again if i come back.

The rooms were outdated. We had two rooms, one had an abnormal bad smell. The other had multiple items not working including Shattaf. Etc.
Th staff are courteous, but the hotel needs some TLC.

Hotel medina tower needs an upgrade

A nice located located right next to the masjid. Only issue was that the check in process was really slow. They had a shopping center located inside along with a large super market. Hotel restaurant situation was confusing.

Other than it being very close to Masjid Nabawi it’s not a good hotel especially being the brand Mövenpick. I stayed in many many Mövenpick hotels all over the world and this is by far the worst hotel when it comes to cleanliness. The first two days we had problems with the toilet it was disgusting then finally on the third day they offered us a new room with a view. Something we was happy with, but after that night in the new room we notice in the morning the bedsheets have blood stains on them!! Wallahi we have never been so shocked before. Not only is it disgusting but it can be dangerous to touch other people’s blood. They told us sorry and supposedly it was a new cleaning lady who did our room and made a mistake. But how do you make that kinda mistake?
They gave us a fruit/cake plater as a sorry but that don’t really help with the fact that it was blood in our bed. Stay away from this hotel. There are many many other hotels in the area for the same price.

Great location but facilities are poor as it looks like 2 to 3 star ratings.

We stayed near the haram at this Amzing hotel Movenpick which was the best decision we made. Ideal with family as easy access to haram. Staff very friendly, lovely service. Polite and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone coming to Madinah.

Rooms are very dated and our first room on the 8th floor had a very unpleasant smell, second room had an unpleasant smell too but not as bad as the first. The key card also kept deactivating and each time I would go to reception to talk to someone the queues were massive so wastes a lot of time. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, its really close to the Masjid so you’ll be there in a matter of a few minutes.

Washroom smell bad. Overall hotel is dirty lack of cleaning. Don’t be fooled by photos. They show bigger rooms in real when you arrive rooms are very small

Depending on which tower you are in the experience is vastly different. Our first room had several moths in the room and was very dirty. We switched to another room that was slightly better. Customer service was not good.

The service and staff are very poor. Check in took more than three hours. The people who help in baggage in and out ( especial Thanks to them only.) excellent service. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location from the haram.
I got the rooms and paid extra money for breakfast and booking showed that, but the Breakfast Manager says I have to pay extra total 220 riyal for one of my kids for two days.
The breakfast was not even worth the money. Overall poor service would not recommend this hotel.

Service was excellent beginning with check-in. Front desk supervisor Khaled A. handled our check-ins (party of 8) and was very accommodating and understanding of our needs as we shared it was the first time for few of us. Only dissatisfaction was one of the rooms wasn’t ready until after check-in time (room wasn’t ready until 5:30pm or so).
To continue, our waiter Hossain at the buffet was excellent; he catered to all our needs and reserved a table for us each morning. Hotel staff/reception called everyday to check in (I guess being a gold member has its perks). Housekeeping staff was also attentive and ensured we were adequately equipped with the basic necessities such as water and fresh linen. Kaaba was steps away from the hotel. Overall our stay was great and would definitely recommend Hilton Suites to others.

Location is excellent. Buffet was very good.

The lobby and reception area was really nice and thats where the positives end. The rooms were outdated, not clean, toilet didn't flush properly and there was a faint smell of drains in the bathroom

Despite its convenient location near the mosque, my experience at this hotel, for which I paid top dollars – a rate comparable to five-star hotels in major world cities – was severely disappointing. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, taking over an hour and half of standing in line due to apparent understaffing.
The room’s condition was shockingly poor - it was dirty, smelly, and the overall maintenance was severely lacking. Stained furniture, unclean walls, and a bathroom with a disturbing odor of sewage were far below acceptable standards.
Having stayed here three times in the past, the consistent decline in cleanliness and service is clear. The hotel urgently needs a major renovation and a revamp of its service. Unfortunately, this visit is my last.

We’re disappointed because we booked city view rooms but we got only blocked window. It’s a a solid walls. House keeping department knocked the and ask for do I need anything. They never did anything by themselves. You have to ask please remove my trash. Never vacuum my floor never change bedsheets. But if I ask for supplies then I get supplies. I am not satisfied with this hotel.

The only thing was good about this hotel was customer service at the reception otherwise this hotel is very old, dated and poorly looked after. It's not a 5 star hotel, nearly a 3 star. Our family was very disappointed.

My experience with this hotel was clean. Stuff was helpful. Great views from the room.

My stay was great.

There is no service. I stayed for 3 nights, and there was horrible service. They offered no water bottles, and didn’t supply the toilet tissue. The floor looked as if the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in months, and the room is both dirty and uncomfortable to stay in. The elevators are slow, even though so much people stay in this hotel. The only reason this hotel is still going is because of the masjid nearby.
2.0
Washroom is substandard. You can not enter the washroom without carefully watching yourself, otherwise you will hit something.

The only great thing about this hotel is its the location, as it is located right on the Masjid grounds, otherwise it is definitely not a 5 star hotel, and would rate it as a 3 star at the most! So if you are looking for 5 star standards, stay away from this hotel .. you will be very dissapointed.
The hotel is extremely old, from the moment you step into the reception area, along with the room and dining areas. The breakfast is the WORST I have ever tried at a 5-star hotel, same food on offer every day, minimal hot options and food is not topped up regularly though out the morning. The buffet furniture is old, and the staff are very laid back and not attentive (eg customers need to ask for cutlery every day). The only good thing about the breakfast area is the view overlooking the Masjid.
The room furniture is worn out, ripped and endless scratches on wood and walls. The bathrooms are very old and maintenance work is very poor (eg. blue sealant on white walls)
Unfortunately this hotel was definitely the lowest point of our trip! it requires a FULL renovation for sure .. and made us move to another hotel next door.

Food is terrible, cold & not fresh, hallways smell like spices everywhere you go, restaurants aren’t clean, for the price we paid almost $800 for two days , should get a better service for that price.

Not clean and the staff are not helpful

Check in process took so long time more than 45 minutes and there are so many customers only two or three employees. It seems that management of the hotel does not add more employees, or have not trained their employees enough because of demand less attention has been given to this Attitude I don’t recommend this hotel again to anyone

It’s a terrible five star hotel.the room furniture is old and in bad condition.room carpet is old enough to make you sick.very pricy and I think I have wasted my money.the only thing this hotel has is the location.bathroom is tiny and old fixtures.
