We stopped there overnight on our way to Virginia Beach… Hotel was nice and clean very spacious room, close to restaurants and shopping.. Would stay again if in the area…

The room was fine except the fact you guys won’t allow me to get my choice points from Quality Inn. I think my time is done with Hotels.com. I tried to give you another chance and you found another way to screw me. You first screwed me out of my earned points and now you’re trying to screw me out of my choice hotel points. Why?

The night staff was nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious. The room was aged and the bathroom tub area was not in a condition that even I wouldn't use.
Tried to add photos but the app would open to allow them to be added.

Found a cockroach in the room. Water pressure was almost too strong. Beds were comfortable.

Grill closes at 9pm. I tried to order at 835, was told the kitchen was no longer taking orders as they were too backed up and wouldnt be able to get out on time.

So new and comfortable the only thing I didn’t like was the darkness in the back area although this is a very safe town and area maybe I’m just paranoid?!? -there should be one of those emergency police poles-the reason I say this was because of the large store parking area although there is a Walmart to grab stuff and a Starbucks at the bottom of the hill.

Our room was clean and there were no noticeable odors. It is an older hotel, but very clean. Didn’t take advantage of breakfast but the coffee was good, Several places to eat close by. Close to the interstate, and it was easy to get in and out of

Front desk staff were great, no complaints. The room on the other hand. We were right next to a bar with an outside area for smoking. Opening our door brought in the smell of smoke and the people were very loud until around midnight. The bed was hard as a rock and the closest ice machine was out of order. I can't stress enough how bad the bed was. The front desk did offer to switch rooms when I called about the noise and smoke but we were already in bed and unpacked and the thought of moving again when we were just overnight to get back on the road seemed worse than the noise. Did I mention the bed was terrible? I wouldn't pay $50 to stay here let alone almost $170.

We had really noise neighbors. Yelling, slamming doors, etc.
Not the hotels' fault but given the cost, I will reconsider in the future.

The upgrades they have done are noticeable. The rooms have new carpet, new chair and I think the mattress was newer too. Staff very friendly and helpful. They have lots of rooms and accommodated a large motorcycle group. I would stay again.

This is an older property and I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. The bed was so comfortable and, the shower was great. The room was spacious and very clean. It is obvious the staff go the extra mile to keep this hotel in great shape. Convenient to shopping and dining. The desk clerk could have been a little friendlier but, we all have bad days. We would stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years, it was previously the Brier Inn. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Nice that it has breakfast. Price is very reasonable.

The shower and bathroom were not clean. Hairs all in the tub. The bed was not clean. There was a large yellow stain on one of the corners. Would not stay here again. Not worth the money spent.

This hotel was clean and attractive. Had everything we needed. The nice, hot breakfast makes the price a great value. The only frustration was that there was nowhere on the online reservation to note that we were bringing our small dog. Fortunately, the desk receptionist was able to change our room to a pet friendly one when we arrived.

We enjoyed having the Brier Patch pub onsite to relax after a long drive. The breakfast offered multiple options and for all ages.

The check-in staff was courteous and helpful...The room was average in cleanliness, but there were some areas of the room that could have been cleaner, i.e. the bathroom and carpet...The maid staff were very friendly and accommodating...

Parking was plentiful, but when fellow customers were walking by or entering their vehicle near the room you can hear everything!!! Loud...

I had a great sleep. Comfortable. I brought my dog with me and the room was directly across from a nice area to walk her. I was a bit apprehensive when I arrived at the room since it was behind the motel on a dead end. I was the only vehicle there and I was traveling just me and my dog. The doors open to the outside and was concerned about safety. Eventually the next day that side filled up. No issues. No problems. The housekeeping staff were very nice. Front desk (couple not all) could use a little bit of friendliness although they were not rude. Just need a little more of a welcoming atmosphere. The only item that I think needs addressed is the very tiny trash cans in the room. They barely fit anything, and there are no extra bags. The extra bags would help, but increasing the size of the cans would be beneficial.

Very nice for motel-style construction. Obviously harder to block outside noise, but nothing unexpected. Blackout curtains very effective, great water pressure and temperature. Everything in the room was very clean and in good working condition. Check-in staff were friendly and attentive. Good variety at hot breakfast. Public areas were clean and well lit.

Check in staff were very friendly and the process was quick! It is an older motel with no extras such as breakfast, but it was very clean! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I don't think it was worth the cost, but this was the better rated stay for this town.
