I spent nearly $500 for two nights for a full room with kitchenette. The parking lot had a lot of people loitering around vehicles. The room was clean but beetles were found in the beds. The bathroom door had to be tugged on so hard it made a boom sound. The rooms only get cleaned every second day, we were not advised and were limted to towels. It was not a quiet sleeping experience. Overall very disappointing. I won't be staying there again.

The hotel clean inside and out. However the elevators were nasty! The tiles were all broken, the walls dented in- felt ghetto!
The room I stayed in 321- needed air freshener, coffee cups and more soap bottles. One bottle, barely enough for a shower and the soap cheap, water down- the hotel doesn’t need to cheapen out- they can do much better!

Room was standard, no complaints about the room. Definitely a smell of smoke in and around the building. Service was slow, but I wasn't ignored or treated poorly. Breakfast was shy a harty option or 2. Rated as a 2 star hotel, and I think that's appropriate.

The air conditioner wasn’t working. It was very hot in the room. I called the front desk several times, but it went to voicemail. And the voicemail box is full.
I pulled the plug on the AC unit as it would only pump out heat. No matter how low I put the SET temp.
The pillows were oddly small compared to other hotel brands. Very uncomfortable. Tossed and turned all night while sweating.
All the staff we encountered were great. Just a rough night after driving 8hrs.

The sofa bed had no pillows and one thin blanket. Smelled like someone had puked in it! Thermostat didn’t work

The gentleman who checked me in was polite and greeted me as a welcomed guest. The rooms are nice and its close to our office in Winnipeg. I like the convenience.

No one answered the phone to request a shuttle from the airport. Thankfully airport information folks said to take a taxi and get the hotel to pay for it upon arrival. Also the need to change rooms to the 2 beds I'd booked, instead of the room with only one bed that I'd been given. Quite frustrating after long hours spent traveling

Very busy, very noisy, got very little sleep. Would not recommend and will not stay there again. Choose a different hotel.

Stayed there around 2014 and it was decent, just stayed again and it was not the greatest. Kind of run down and ive never seen so much security hanging around which made us question our safety there. Probably wont stay there again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Fire alarm and sprinkler system were not operational, nor was one elevator.

Room had some cleanliness issues, fridge was broken, yelling and kids running the halls non-stop until 2 am (was there 4 nights) and alarms in the hall or other rooms going off night and day. The breakfast was not good at all. The only "hot" option was a boiled egg in a crockpot. I could hardly bite into it it was so hard and when i did it squirted water into my mouth. It was so gross i spit it out and threw everything into the garbage except a banana. 4 nights and I ate 1 banana. There are many hotels in Winnipeg for the same price...choose one of those.

Close to airport. Free airport shuttle advertised, which wasn't available, so hotel provided taxi vouchers. We had an early flight to catch and hotel gave us bagged breakfast. Attentive staff, comfortable bed, and clean facilities. Everything we needed for a quick sleep before catching our flight.

The advertisement to the property is deceiving. You check in behind plated glass, there is security in the hall and although it is clean there was a terrifying screaming match at 4am in the hall.There are signs equivalent to a dormitory with rules. There will be no further bookings from us.

Close to place i needed to be. Lots of security in parking area and surveilling entrances. Quiet time between 9-7. Parking had outlets for block heater cords in -40 weather.

Room was comfy but needy a little love, staff are great and helpful, but the area is secluded and not safe at night. A good hotel to stay a night by the airport or for an extended work trip but I wouldn’t stay here with a family unless completely necessary.

The cleaning off the room is lacking. Long blck hair in tub, on toilet paper. Rails were not clean underneath the shower curtain looked like someone spit on it had to wash it to stNd in to have shower. Clock didn’t work no button on one side of lamp. The onlly nice thing was staff.

I loved the place. The space was great for the 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 kids. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location. I felt safe.

We were not informed that we had to book a housekeeping cleaning through the front office so our room was not ready when I came back. This was very disappointing and should have been communicated to us upon arrival.
There were at least 3 security guards in the lobby at all times which made us feel somewhat safe but worried to be staying in the hotel. The lobby smelled of cigarettes and alcohol for our entire stay.
Even though these things were negative, the room was beautiful and quite clean! We rested well enough for our trip too.

Mainstay suites offers a decent room with a medium size fridge and decent continental breakfast. The room price was decent as well compared to similar offerings. Unfortunately upon arrival to room upon inspection of the bed, we noticed a lot of garbage around the headboard of one of the two beds in our room.

The smell on the hallway some cooking and hot tub I’m looking forward too is no longer available … but a BIG THANKS TO JOCELYN at the breakfast lodge

This was a very nice hotel, but it has become quite run down. We have stayed here many times before, but in the last few years we have noticed a definite decline in the maintenance & condition of the building. We also were disappointed in the breakfast menu. Light bulbs were burned out or flashing leds, the TP dispenser was half missing and water was leaking through the wall inton our bathroom. Not sure that we will stay there again.
