Was there to check on our place at Cape Island. Unfortunately, my wife's 100 year old father passed away that evening. The breakfast was very good. The best of any B&B we had stayed in. The winter price was very good for a B&B in Cape May.

Excellent check in. Very clear, helpful and informative.
Bed was a HUGE king. Unusual wood ceiling. Plenty of hot water. Bed was so comfortable I spend 12 hours in the bed and did not try wine and cheese,or other food options.

This was a delightful stop on our way south for Thanksgiving. A real Victorian experience, with afternoon tea, then later wine and cheese, and in the morning a delightful cooked breakfast all included. A contrast to the usual cookie cutter motels. The staff were friendly and gracious. We loved it.

It's a lovely hotel, some of the rooms could use a few repairs though. Nice wood work throughout and a real sense of history. The staff was friendly and helpful. Its close to the center of town and rigth next to the beach. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay again

A wonderful restoration of a1850 Victorian "cottage" house that was moved twice and rebuilt several times. https://www.angelofthesea.com/about-us/history
Beautiful old wood cabinetry & bead board details, winding narrow stairs, (no elevators of course). Excellent staff, service, food (breakfast, high tea & wine & cheese daily), and lovely porches very close to the beach sand dunes.

Had an enjoyable stay at the Angel of the Sea. Conveniently located near the ocean. The property is well taken care of as is the area around the inn.

Enjoyed the ocean view and how close restaurants and shops were. Easy bike ride, walk. No need to drive everywhere. Breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea and sweets were a nice treat. Also, the wine and cheese early evening was special.

It was a wonderful experience overall! From the friendly staff to the wonderful breakfast options to the ambiance! The rooms were a bit small, but it was so quaint, I didn't mind at all. Beautiful area, safe and lots of things to do. Loved they had bicycles we could use and explore the town. 5 Stars!!!

First time in Cape May, and we chose Angel of the Sea, Wonderful stay from start to finish. Loved the old architecture and feel of the building and rooms. The service and niceties, such as full breakfast and afternoon snacks , added to the experience

Great food and friendly service, in walking distance to the beach.

I've visited several times and I'm never disappointed. Staff is excellent: polite, helpful, cheery. Breakfasts are bountiful: fresh fruit, muffin and bread du jour, hot entree (eggs, waffles, pancakes, etc), coffee, tea & juice. 4: 00 is coffee, tea and fresh baked sweets; and 5:30 is wine and charcuterie platter. Hotel is 1 block from beach and a short walk to downtown restaurants and shops. You won't be disappointed.

Angel of the Sea is a lovely Bed and Breakfast… the room was impeccable and the staff is exceptional. The breakfast was great and they offered afternoon tea and sweets as well as wine and meats and cheeses for “happy hour”. They go above and beyond. They have beach towels and chairs available as well as bicycles for the guests. The only suggestion I would have is to repair or get newer bicycles . A good amount of them were significantly rusted and not in great condition…as silly as it may seem, the bell on mine was falling apart .

It is like a time warp back to 1890 with all the modern covenants. Beds sleep great . Relaxing and breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cheese board with wine all inclusive. We plan to come back after summer season over just to kick back.

The staff was kind and friendly
The food was acceptable
Our room was dirty. The floor was not clean. I had to look under the bed because I dropped something and there were massive dust balls and cob webs. There was a used covid mask next to a dresser. There was an empty bottle sticking out from under a night stand. We had a 1/4 roll of toilet paper without a spare. There was a dirty mattress laying next to a walkway outside Ewwww. The hot water in the shower kept changing temperature. There was a plastic bag tangled up with a shrub next to a walk way.

Lovely and clean room! The food was wonderful! Afternoon tea and evening wine were our favorite surprises.

The beds are extremely high, and stepstools provided slip. You may get hurt trying to get into or out of bed. I'm not that short and it was a problem. My shower was from the 1800's and would not work for me.
