This was our second stay at the El Dorado - a good combination of location, price and comfort. We'll be back.

Everything was good. I don't need much out of a hotel. Just a Bed, Shower, TV.... the basics.
This place was nice. Fairly quiet and clean. It's in town so everything is somewhat close.

Great hotel in Baker City Oregon. Lots of character and charm. Rented a queen bed room for two. Lots of room and good sized room. Excellent pricing. I prefer choosing non-chain hotels when i can. This is a great addition to my travel list. Very clean and well kept room. Front Desk lady was amazing and very pleasant to work with. I already now have another stay booked because i enjoyed this stay so much. Well worth your time to stay here.

It was good. Miss the normal breakfast that we used to have.

Surprising gem in Provo, UT. Accepts pets including cats.

Let me start out by say this place is a hole. Front door was locked. They left a phone number to call and no answer. I sent a note to Hotels.com, they tried to call and no answer. I immediately drove over to the Bridge Street Inn and got a nice room there.
I would sleep in my car before I would stay at the El Dorado.

Our stay in this place was magnificent in comparison with other hotels I've visit during my trip. It was very clean and the beds were super duper comfortable. The are is very safe and lovely. Totally recommend it. Thank you !

Exterior of the building on the south side was darker than my soul. Zero exterior lighting.

It's clean, quiet and the bed is super comfortable

The air conditioner/heater was loud. Everything else was acceptable. The price was reasonable.

Nice cute place to stay not too expensive.
Except the heating was making too much noise please fix this detail 😍

People above were so noisy and manager didnt say or do anything about it

Friendly checkin, clean comfortable room, comfy bed and pillows. The room smelled good. Perfect for and overnight stay. Walking distance to amenities. Would stay again.

It was a really nice stay. Your front desk person was very pleasant. My only complaint is opening the second drawer on the dressers and finding a pair of what looked to be worn/dirty men’s underwear that probably should’ve been removed before the room was let to us.

Absolutely the worst place in Baker to stay!!!!

A dated building that feels cold and uninviting. The room lacks sufficient lighting and electrical outlets. No clock. No way to plug my phone in at the bed. The heating unit cycled on & off in such a way that it was tough to sleep. Bed was comfortable enough, but pillows are not soft. Internet worked well, so i got some work done.

Fine motel. Recently upgraded, Comfortable. Friendly staff. Clean. Warm and very convenient for the town and freeway.

This property was a major disappointment. It is under construction. Room furnishings were missing/had been obviously removed. Only one light in entire room (very bright) and one nightstand (for a King bed and 2 guests)- the heater made a squealing sound every time it kicked on (woke us up) and there are large semi trucks parked in a lot behind the building you could hear running all night.
The first night we had several rooms of teenagers above us who were extremely loud (starting at 10 pm), called front desk to get them to quiet down- no result- went up there ourselves at 11:00 pm to get them to quiet down- no result. Tried to call front desk again but they close at 11 pm on weekends (10 pm weekdays)? Aren't hotel staff supposed to be accessible 24 hours/day?
There are zero amenities- lobby only has a water dispenser and some random snacks; however you couldn't even access those as the lobby is locked most of the time due to staff shortages.
I realize this hotel is very inexpensive, but that doesn't mean it should be in dissrepair and so undderstaffed.
The only positives were a strong shower stream/hot water and the staff was friendly.
This hotel needs to shut down, refinish the rooms, get the place up to standard, hire more staff, put some coffee in the lobby (at very minimum) and then reopen.
We will not be staying here again.

I liked the unique architecture of the motel, though the facilities were somewhat worn. But overall a really nice and comfortable motel. I'd stay there again.

31DEC23 - it said online that it was renovated in 2018 but it doesn’t reflect that. The lobby is only open 9:00am-10:00pm. I would say it’s kind of clean, but the bathroom shower had cracks in the walls and would leak onto the bathroom floor. It’s just not welcoming. But it was priced right for what it is.

The chemicals used to sanitize the room was overwhelming. I’m not sure if it was in the carpet or a room deodorizer but it made for a rough night.

Set and decor was old world Spanish. Although there is with to be done and improvements to be made, we had an excellent stay.

Great budget property. Close to truckers stop so can be a teeny noisy- choose one of the top floor rooms. Great spot for connection to the highway

Room was clean and quiet but no coffee and extremely limited continental breakfast compared with other hotels at a similar price

Took 20 minutes to get checked in. Heater only worked occasionally and would only go totally hot or cold, nothing in between. Walls very thin; could hear family in next room. Out of coffee for machines; only had instant to offer.

From check in to check out, staff was excellent. I was a bit early for check in, which we all know what that means if your a traveler, that my room might not be ready. I was allowed to check in and await my room. That was nice so I would not have to return to the front desk again. Thumbs up for me. I later couldn't figure out the TV, I was immediately helped when I asked about it. Great service. (Turns out my fault, yah there are instructions 😬) If passing thru again, would definitely stay.

The front desk person was fantastic. I didn't have any glasses, cups or coffee in my room, she gave me cups and 1 coffee.

Clean room, comfortable bed and pillow. Like the eco- friendly idea of not having bedspreads, but blanket inside easily washed sheets. Had all necessary amenities except no phone book. Having the lobby not open until 9:00 am is a little inconvenient for early risers who want to get on the road early. Very friendly office staff. Price of stay was very reasonable for the times. Would definitely stay there again.

I did not like having housekeeping knocking on the door at 8:30. The bed was hard, had a hard time sleeping and was finally asleep.
Check in was good and we did get a room on the ground floor like requested

The staff were very nice.
The electric wall sockets were worn out, a mouse could walk under the door without ducking.
Hwy 84 was shut down for the night and the trucks flocked in to the truck stop next door which filled so the trucks circled around the west side of the motel also. Reefers on and off all night were very annoying, I left at 4a.m.

Worth the money if you just want to sleep. Decent enough place. Staff is extremely friendly, ill be staying here alot for the next few months

The only drawback I found was the office hours. They are open 9am to 10pm. Outside those hours you cannot get ice. If you leave before 9am you don't get the little breakfast treats. Not a big deal so I would say, I a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was very clean and had a nice aroma.

WE enjoyed our stay. While it clearly needs some repairs and updates, it was very clean and a comfortable bed. The lady who checked us in was very nice, and informative. Location is great and for the price, we would definitely come again. Very cute place. Thank you!
