The hotel is dated and not very clean, could do with a proper clean and paint. Pool is small and dirty up there, towels are rubbish and old and not enough toilet roll was provided, breakfast was just average nothing special. Would say this is more like a 2 star hotel

The hotel is almost next door to the elante mall and very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Just needs a little updating, such as nicer towels - clean but looked well used. Enjoyed my stay

i booked 2 rooms ,One room had a bad sewer smell and then we asked them to fix it .They sprayed room freshner but that didnt remove the bad odor.
Swimming pool had flies floating on water and no one cleaned it even upon request.
Overall very bad experience considering the Lemon Tree Brand.

All you would expect from a premium budget hotel plus the staff are very helpful and attentive. Also there is a 24 restaurant on site. It's next door to the Elante mall for all shopping needs. All great from my point of view.

Sutiable only for people going for business and just need to sleep in a decent place. Only plus for a family traveller like me was the nearby Elante mall.

There was no light in the room. We booked bathtub , front desk guy surat said we don’t have one. We got our shower gel in glass. WOW , bathrooms were not at all clean , room was very small. We paid $63 for this hotel, we are not happy, will never recommend this chain lemon tree to anyone. Horrible night it was!!

Staff was good but the condition of the hotel is quite bad. Bed sheets had stains on it. The walls had marks on them. The cafe looks like a dinning hall of a hostel

My stay at The Lemon Tree in Chandigarh on Friday 15 November was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean, check in/out was easy and the cafe was clean and efficient. The check out person ( sorry don't remember his name ) was very helpful and pleasant.

The most horrible experience I have ever had with any property in India. Very unprofessional and discourteous staff. Specially the front office manager.

Good location but front desk staff did not know English. The saving grace was the dining room: chef whose service and staff were both excellent and the food great.
Room was comfortable and bathroom very clean and well set out.
Lounge area was poor and tacky unfortunately and inefficiently serviced. They could not even help me to book tours or tell me highlights we could visit during our very short stay.

Rooms could be cleaner and this lemon tree doesnt match the one at Hyderabad. Standards are certainly low with interiors and decor. Staff and service was very prompt and friendly.

I had a one night stay at this hotel and the experience and services were average. The only good thing was that the hotel is located close to elante mall.

I booked for 2 nights (looked online and thought that it would be an amazing option to relax) but was really upset as soon as I checked in and went to the swimming pool..Reason: I clearly mentioned to the executive on the phone a day before checking in that I either need a bath tub or a swimming pool because my kid is fond of the same. I was Ok to check in when I was confirmed on phone that there is no bath tub in the room but there is a pool for everyone including kids..
Pool was really a bad experience when my kid could not enter the same as it was 4ft deep all over..really..very sad...all my emotions and expenses went to a toss that time..really..
I have not marked all the above parameters as "Terrible" because I really don't want to penalise everyone (staff in hotel) due to this.

The room smelt of damp and they were obviously aware of this as they sent a man to spray the walls when we complained. Food and drinks service terrible and standard of food dreadful when it eventually came.
Only good thing was really nice girl on desk who was so helpful and we took a taxi ride at her suggestion to all of the sights for small amount of money. Displaced people garden amazing Le coubusier buildings and rose garden actually smelt of roses.

Business room is tiny. Wifi costs 700 Rs for 24 hours which was about 14% of my room cost.

Great experience from check-in to check-out and everything in-betweeen. Saw real improvement in the dining area. Staff were helpful and friendly - thanks especially to Harpreet, Aditya and Pankaj
