Ocean front room also had a fireplace, which felt so good as it was windy and rainy outside. The room could use a facelift, but it certainly had everything we needed. Nice staff, good breakfast and the pool was an added bonus. Close to everything in Seaside.

For being an older hotel, it was in great condition and very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent; close to the Seaside turnaround, on the boardwalk and with an excellent oceanfront view. The weather was “iffy”, but we enjoyed the fireplace and view from our room. It was such a short walk to shops and restaurants, we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we felt welcomed immediately.

My husband and I were celebrating our 65th wedding anniversary. This is our 3rd time to stay here. Our favorite hotel on the Boardwalk. We had a spectacular ocean view, beds were so comfortable, kitchen, good coffee, fireplace. The room was very clean. The only negatives…the bathroom is desperately in need of updating and the lighting in the little sink area and kitchen was bad. But, we will stay here again and we recommend Hi-Tide!

Second year my four kids and I have stayed here for a quick beach get away amazing views and nothing pretentious. This year we brought our own DVDs, but the office still has a great collection.

The customer service was great. My shower sucked because when I showered, the water did not drain fast enough, that I was standing in water past my ankles. The pool was like getting into a warm bath. The rooms and area was clean but there is obviously a lot of work that needs to be done and fixed. The elevator was broken and it was kind of a hassle to bring the luggage and my daughter up and down the stairs, we were on the third floor. The lady at the front counter said that the elevator works from the first floor up but there are signs posted on the elevator door on every floor saying out of order. The view was nice and the balcony was nice. The breakfast is something I didn’t have but I do know that there is one to enjoy in the morning.

Definitely worth it, we stayed in the older building and found it comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed for a night at the beach. The extra services make it truly exceptional. Thank you Hi Tide!!

Great location and affordable. Pool and Hot Tub were pretty crowded and inaccessible, but good for kids. We stayed across the street in the small complex, but it had a kitchenette, so we cooked up some fresh seafood pasta and had a blast. Also had a fireplace. Honestly the best and affordable stay I've ever had near the ocean. Seaside is like a dream getaway spot. Hotel was one block from the epicenter and shops.

It sure had an ocean view... but the heater took until midnight to get the room up to the temp setting. The door to our room looked like it had been previously kicked in... as it had been screwed back together on/from the out-side around the door latch area.

Booked a King Oceanview room and was pleasantly surprised. It had a little kitchenette and of course a beautiful ocean view. The bed was very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the fireplace made a clanking sound all evening though it wasn't turned on. Also, someone must have left their BIG dog alone in the room which is a no-no. The dog barked for 2 hours straight...on a good note, it stopped by the time we were ready for bed. I also believe it was a little over priced for the outdatedness of the Inn, but considering it was a last minute decision, it turned out pretty good.

This was our second stay. This is a great location in an older Inn that is in need of a remodel. The room was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The fresh baked cookies at 6pm is a real treat.

Everything was great but the bed was so firm it was hard to get a restful sleep for me and my husband. I usually prefer a more firm mattress but the mattress in our room was so firm it was like sleeping on the floor. Otherwise no other complaints.

Simple friendly check in process, great staff. The room was simple. Liked the fire place. Plenty of space. Pet friendly. Coozy hottub and pool area indoor. The Tv could be upgraded small 32" or less, still running Dvd players.

Staff was very friendly. Our room had a perfect view of the ocean. I loved the little kitchenette that was in the room. Plus the little breakfast has everything i needed to start my day. All and all would love to stay here the next time I come to Seaside.

Booked online thru 3rd party source & prepaid as I had been previously told this was a good idea to prepay. On arrival was told there was an ocean front room available since our booking was orginally booked for a room a block off the beach. Was told by the front desk that the mgr could fix the booking and we would be set. Even told that the ocean front room was less cost than what we had prepaid & again told that the mgr would take care of that. On Sunday checkout, they wanted to charge us a $100 per night upgraded room fee. I was caught off guard by this since moving rooms was not our suggestion & told that the new room was even less cost than what we had prepaid. In the end, the mgr did waive the add'l charges & we paid the original booking amount. Was nice to have resolved but was told I would be contacted by the mgr or front desk on Saturday prior to our Sunday departure about any changes needed to the booking or cost. At least it got resolved. That said, the location is always a plus to staying here. Our particular room needs a little work & a little better cleanliness. The shower and drain had hair in it from previous occupants & the shower tub has a crack in it. Water pressure is low so don't expect tons of pressure in the shower. The rooms in general could use an update w/ newer fixtures than the blue counters and yellow toilet & tub. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend & enjoyed the view & local shops & retaurants.

Very dated restroom, there was left over product on shampoo and hair conditioner. The fireplace and hair dryer did not work however the staff was very nice to fix/replace both. There was a excellent breakfast and the complimentary salt water taffy was a nice touch
