Stayed in the executive room with the king bed and sofa bed for 4 nights.
Negatives: Was a bit narrow than expected, but worked for our needs. Found a little bit of mold in the one corner of shower area. Sofa bed wasn't comfortable/spring edge poked our legs while getting in, and center (whether it was the mattress or spring surface or combination of both) was concave so it was difficult to get out!
Positives: Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast selection was good, catered to everyone's food preferences. Convenient to Chinatown area and various restaurants. About a 5 minute walk to MTA on Broadway and Essex roads. Good walking distance to Soho shopping.
May stay there again, but will select a different room.

We enjoyed our stay here in a family room with sofa bed. Comfy, clean room with coffee machine. Staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good. Only negatives were the constant noise from the trains on Manhattan bridge, and the smell of fish especially in the lifts from the Chinese supermarket next door. The area around the hotel is quite dirty and not the best, but it’s close to the East Broadway subway and there are some nice restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Wouldn’t recommend walkimg round this area at night, but that can be said about many areas of New York.

Hotel overall was not bad but lobby and elevators need to be cleaned and sanitized. It does not have a pleasant smell.

The guy at check in was super helpful and great! Once we stepped in the elevator, the smell hits you. It smells like fish market, sewage and mold. The room did not have hot water and over two night stay, we called three times for engineer support. We were told they had to restart the boilers each time for hot water. It was such an issue, we left early today without a shower to avoid the hassle. We do not recommend this hotel. The cost is not worth the amount we paid and we are unhappy Marriott would have such low standards. Parking is about five blocks away from hotel at discounted $40 per day.

Because we booked through Expedia, they put us in a room between the icemaker and the elevator. Noise constantly.

Decor a bit outdated and bath only a shower. Our coffee machine broke and wasn't fixed. Our room wasn't serviced. Nice to have complimentary bfast and good location.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. The breakfast was good each day with eggs, sausage, and a variety of carb options. Located very near the F subway stop, with lots of great food options nearby in Chinatown!

Had no hot water unless you let the water run 20 plus minutes first. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Hotel wasn’t bad at all other than the rotten fish smell daily due to an asian fish place next door. Glad we brought smell good spray for the hall way and elevator. The elevator made a loud banging sound w wry time it went up and down all night along with subway. If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t suggest staying here.

Overall, good location considering it's NYC. It is in Chinatown, and the hallways smelled like the fresh fish/seafood from the stores below it. There was so much noise on the 7th floor, to which I didn't care for. Safe area, room was ok, found hair everywhere. Complimentary breakfast was ok.

Spacious room on the 7th floor, especially for what I know for other rooms in NY. Very quite also! The hotel is a bit outdated, the complementary breakfast is not the most tasteful and some staff members looked bored. BUT the spacious and quite room makes it worth to come back sometime.

I’m big on customer service and the staff are amazing. Very helpful with places to eat and things to do close by. Not much to do in the area as far a entertainment but that didn’t bother us as we already had our trip planned out. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel especially if your trip includes stops in Brooklyn.

The property was clean. Breakfast was included and had a reasonable amount of variety & the food was fine. The area was a bit sketchy, but not terrible. Easy walking distance to F train to get to various Manhattan locations. A couple of great restaurants within walking distance. Staff was helpful. Overall we found the property clean and accessible and would stay again.

This hotel is in Chinatown, in which it doesn’t matter to me and my hubby but some people may shy away from. Everything was clean in our one king bed room, 4 pillows, comfy bed, big TV, fridge, microwave, iron/board, great view on 2nd floor out our window of Manhattan Bridge, and free hot breakfast every morning with lots of rude tourists that have no manners. They keep your luggage after you check out in case your flight doesn’t leave right away and you want to explore more of the city, w/o lugging suitcases around. We stayed 4 nights and were in town for our son’s wedding.

The good thing they had they serve breakfast every morning .. Clean rooms every day tv n movie good some free movie channels they have a gym .. they had blow dryer also ironing board n iron .. body wash , shampoo n conditioner coffee maker area fridge microwave

I dont usually give a high rating... BUT I LOVED this place. ( I have stayed at numerous other hotels in NYC over the years.. so my expectations weren't so high)...
The early morning staff, cleaning staff... were awesome.

Service.... the morning staff went out of they way to assist (am sure the day staff might have... but we were already out the door for the day).
The rooms were always immaculate when we returned.
If feasible... will certainly stay here again.

Finally.. .the air conditioners in the rooms were AWESOME. It was a heat wave of (95+ every day were were there). Coming back to a cool/cold rooms was the best treat ever.
Will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was limited. The food wasn’t cooked all the way (sausage, eggs). The shower door did not have a seal all the way down the door so when you would shower, it will leak all on the floor. One night a couple was fighting at 2am which the front desk representative needed to be call. I had 3 kids that would have been in danger.
