The springs on the pullout sofa bed were prominent. Please use a different hand soap. The soap bar offered by the hotel does not wash out no matter how long I rinse and scrub.

Highly recommend this hotel! Every time I’m in the area I stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast selection. Convenient parking.

Everything cool

The room was clean, well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a very nice stay.

It was an ok stay, besides the fact they only clean the room every other day & not everyday, which I did not like. Also my room key did not work, I had to go to the front desk and ask for them to open my room door because their system was down & they had to restart it which could take a long time. Then I was promised by the lady at the front desk that she would bring me a new key once the system restarted & that was a lie, she never brought me the key.

We were happy to have picked Home2 Suite while having 2-day walking tour in Manhattan NYC. Lots of great features: 1. Good location (a short walking distance to NJ Transient Station); 2. Spacious guest room with microwave, refrig, dish-washer, caffee-maker, oval dining table, office chair, LG TV,...; 3. Great food; 4. Excellent service.

Everything was great except for not having enough towels in the room and the sofa bed mattress having a few stains.

The room had a bad smell, the sheets on my bed were not clean. I don’t feel comfortable

My child for wrapping papers and a bag in the drawer when we arrived. It smelled and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. They didn’t have enough towels or wash rags to accommodate either.

It was okay. The rooms are smaller than we expected. Wouldn’t recommend for a family of four because it’s congested based on the layout. Bathroom wasn’t clean.

It was listed as Non-Smoking room, and we wanted the same as we had small kids. The room was filled with Cigarette smoke. Asked the manager to check. She came and just handed us an air freshener. Said can't do anything as their boss is unavailable. No follow up, just had to live with it. This is unacceptable. We didn't pay a dime less of what the hotel asked. We expected the least. On top of it - Breakfast was below average. The shower faucet was not working as expected.

The hotel needs touch ups and maintenance in rooms. The rooms were clean but dated. Also, there was a foul smell in my room. Staff was good. Limited breakfast which needs attention. Over all not bad, but could be better!

The room is was amazing.

Found few ants in the room. Lots of those ant were close to head board of the bed. Then found some old food melted sticky stuff under bed frame. Front desk was notified immediately but the did not do anything, no one came to clean up dirty food mess theft by previous guests. Disappointing

Only one tv. And the past I have always had 2. That was the reason I choose Home 2 suite everytime I came here from Michigan. Maybe they change things around I don’t know. It’s been over a minute since been back. But that’s okay I know now.

We had to change rooms, because of a strange smell. Once we received our new room our provisions were excellent!

There were insects jn my room

Staying in this hotel during our trip was the biggest mistake. The room was full of an unclean smell. When you enter the lobby, you will think that the hotel is relatively new, but in fact they were remodeled in an old hotel. When you enter the room and observe carefully, you will understand what I mean. The whole family was woken up by bedbugs bites in the middle of the night Forced to change to another room, the hotel manager didn't apologize until we left. I do not recommend this hotel for everyone, especially families with children.

Normally I like hone 2 suites as it has Hilton standards with room for families. This one was unfortunately probably worst ever visited. Dirty , outdated, bathrooms looked like they were trying to cover mold with DIY solutions. The sofa was stained so many colours could not identify its original one. would not ever visit again or recommend to anyone.

They had to move us twice until we found room that wasn't filthy and smelly or had a broken AC. The second room someone had poured garbage into the sink but didn't like run water or anything so it had congealed into like this gross thing inside the sink and it made the entire room stink like garbage.

I love the great customer service and the maintenance of the hotel.

Not sure why this property has such high reviews. The only thing carrying this place is the staff. The rooms themselves are average at best, though the bathroom layout with the door swinging inward is pretty terrible. The shampoo/conditioner dispensers are outdated and cheap, so the front panels often fall off. And the carpets in the hallways are pretty gross. It's high time this location gets a renovation. Anyhow, during my stay, I was greeted by Anna (who deserves a raise and was beyond excellent). I got to my room and unfortunately the place REEKED of cigarette smoke. If you've ever gotten into someone's car who desperately attempts to hide that they smoke by using excess perfume or cologne, that's pretty much what this place smelled like. It was nauseating. I went back down to get my room switched, but there were no other available rooms. Anna allowed me to take a deodorizing air spray can and put in a note for me to have the room changed. The next day they had a new room ready for me, though they attempted to get me to stay in the same room which they shampooed the carpets, but that just made it smell like cigarettes and chemicals, so I opted to switch. The new room smelled much better and was nice, but again, it looked like it hadn't really been renovated much since the 70s, so quality was average at best. If it weren't for the staff working there, this would be a much lower rating. Dunno that I'd stay here a second time.

It’s unfortunate that their website shows pictures of a pool and with the amenities we were hoping to swim there. But the pool was closed. The website should state this. It is misleading.

Service and stay were great. Only disappointing part is the pool was closed. It seems that it has been closed for a while.

Was a wonderful home 2. These are normally great properties, and this one was no exception. Shower head score 9/10

Only 35 minutes from Madison Square Garden and free parking which is why I choose to stay here.

The amenities in the room was one of a kind, huge microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge and a very spacious room..Breakfast was amazing.Everything in this hotel was exquisite. Only thing I disliked was the annoying bed. Was broken and made so much noice even when sitting or getting up…
