Enjoyed our stay at the Kakadu Lodge. Stayed in a corrugated metal cabin. The small air conditioner unit had a hard time cooling the room in the heat of the day. Must close all the curtains. We tried to stay out during the day. The room cooled down nicely at night though. Very clean. The restaurant and pool were nice. Staff and personnel friendly. Good beer.

Very good location, close to town centre. The pool is next to the bar and bistro so you can enjoy a drink while splashing. I would love to have white coloured towels instead of milky colour like theirs. Other than that this place is great to stay.

Great location for visiting Darwin. Roomy rooms, great food options and very friendly and efficient staff. Cat parking a bonus at no cost

The highlight was the large, shaded swimming pool and the restaurant serving excellent food at economical prices. Communal bathrooms were close by and worked well

It was a fantastic place to get away. The staff informed us about what was happening in the area.

A good place to stay and has everything you need. Cabins could do with a revamp

The cabin was quite basic but very clean and the air con was on which was a relief. We didn’t make use of the facilities other than a barbecue which was close by the cabin. The park looked well maintained, clean and tidy.

What a fantastic place to stay before taking a flight, completely different to any other airport hotels I have seen! I loved the spaciousness of the place and being able to access my room from outside. The restaurant was excellent and I really liked the outdoor reception. The only thing I would change is I would have preferred the water in the outdoor swimming pool to be slightly colder. Thanks for a great stay, would happily return!

A pretty basic room for the price, but the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful.

Stayed in a self contained cabin. Shower toilet & double bed (in a seperate room). Bit of a squash getting around the bed. Kitchen lounge area had full sized fridge freezer & good amount of cooking utensils, pots, cutlery plates glasses & cups. Old fashioned aircon units noisy as heck was the biggest downside. Plenty of insect screens & an out door patio area with table & chairs. Great swimming pool & bistro restaurant & bar. Enjoyed their pub style food. The Crocodile Hotel was booked out so this was really the only other option to continue our tour. I got a bit of sleep but could have done with a lot more. Stay again? Only if the only option, but would definitely call in for a meal.

The park was quite at nights which was really good. The facilities are good and the rooms comfortable.

Great location for Kakadu. Pool was amazing, property felt safe and quiet

My wife and I stayed in a cabin without ensuite. The room was reasonably sized and about 15 metres to the toilet/ shower facilities. They were well maintained being clean and sufficient hot water etc. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The grounds provided plenty of shade and greenery. We had a meal at the bistro which was quite good. Would recommend

Really nice grounds and nice pool. Quiet noise level even though park was full. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with information and booking tours. Bathrooms a bit tired, but clean.

Well overpriced for what the room was, showers were in need of repair with shower heads spraying water in all directions from poor. Pool lounge chairs in poor order, limited seating in pool area. However on a positive note the food was good at the pool area and reasonably priced.

Stayed 3 nights in cabin.clean and comfortable birds to wake up to.

It is a very isolated location. People shouldn't be so picky. I was happy to get a secure location to spend the night and the facilities are adequate. The onsite bar provides very good quality food with variety. I enjoyed my stay and it was fairly priced.

Stayed in a lodge bunk room. has external camp ground communal toilet and bathroom. Restaurant and pools and great. room was small and minimal for price. good aircon. Expensive for what was offered. Lots of vacant cabins on site.

The property DID NOT CONFIRM my booking with me Then without my permission charged my credit card $399 fee for what was essentially a stuff up on their part for a non cancellation . How could I cancel when I never got a confirmed booking!!!!

Loved our stay here. Room was small, but it didn't really matter. Airconditioning made it very comfortable. The pool/bar/restaurant area was a highlight. Perfect for after a hot day exploring Kakadu. Great location.

pleasant stay, it was okay

Lots of different accommodation options, from camping to self-contained cabins. We stayed in a lodge room without an ensuite - shower/toilet block was very close, but a sink in the room would've been appreciated (not provided). Kitchen and shower/toilet block could use an upgrade - the shower wall tiles looked dirty, but I think they were stained, and taps/shower head had mineral deposits on them. Our room was nicely furnished and clean, though the bed was a little hard and moved around as it was on wheels. Nice pool, though very chilly. Next to the restaurant, one of the few places in town you can eat dinner. Meals were expensive - barramundi was very nice, pizza was tasteless. Easy parking, easy check-in and key drop-off for early check-out. Loved the wildlife around - geckos and little birds perched under the verandah.

Plenty of trees for shade from the heat of the outback. Parking next to each cabin. The pool area was lovely and the meals at the tavern were very tasty with a good selection on the menu.
Cabins were comfortable and clean

Staff were excellent and friendly. The room was very basic but on reflection, I'd rather have a basic ecofriendly room in a National Park rather than something more fancy and adding to our environmental woes.

Very simple room on lovely campsite. Great bistro at the pool. Good atmosphere.

Situated between Ubirr which is a must for sunset and Yellow River Cruise. Location was perfect.

Great accommodation, washing machine facilities, pool and restaurant

We stayed in an EXPENSIVE cabin. It was dated. The air conditioner came out with ark and barely worked. Front door curtains were dirty. Poorly set out and very small
4.0
Prices are high despite basic facilities however is a tourist town so understandable for price vs demand. Great pool and bar/restaurant.
