My stay was really good, the staff at the front desk was friendly and gave recommendation for good food. Housekeeping refs to make sure that there are wash clothes in the room prior to check- in. Definitely my go to hotel when I travel to NYC!

Garbages not emptied. Bathroom not as clean as should have been. Hair on floor and shower.

Stayed over 8 days and had to change rooms thrice. First bathroom was just dirty and sticky and the shower head was horrible with dirt blocking the shower. I cleaned the shower head with a Towel myself before using it and this was 10 mins after checking into the room. The second had a broken garbage compactor that started smoking and the last had mold below the sink and the sofa was chewed out. They did room service once and missed it twice. Also room service is only once in 2 days. Breakfast food is well below par.

The property was mediocre. The seams of the couch in room were coming apart. The room was freezing despite adjustment of thermostat. The staff was able to change the room , but the second room was still freezing cold. At that point i didnt continue to complain because it was only for one night.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and loved every about it but this stay was very disappointing. Our bathroom was in terrible infested with black mold, cracked tiles, peeling paint. We moved the couch and it had not been vacuumed left with pistachio shells and crackers. The fridge was dented. The lobby had old and cold coffee being offered. The pool area was untidy.

This is a very, very nice hotel and I called originally as we are gold platinum Bonvoy members, and every place we stay as a Bonvoy , we always get a late check out. The staff was very very nice except for the woman this morning demanding we leave saying that we did not have late check out!
I tried to talk to her kindly and she had a hideois nasty expression on her face. She told my daughter and my mother that they couldn’t go get breakfast and had to vacate the room a nod shut our keys down. She should not be in this business. I asked her if she was going to say thank you for our stay as I was walking out and she just stared at me. This is someone who should not be in The service industry, but everyone else was very very nice and the room is extremely comfortable although the heat wasn’t working but it was very clean !!!
Just get rid of the nasty morning associate who has a huge chip on her shoulder . She brought one star down as a result of her attitude .

Our daughter lives in the area and we have stayed and will stay often. My only critique is that the towels are of a very poor quality and don't really reflect on the overall nice quality of this hotel.

I’ve stayed here before with no problem but this time the room I got had so much dust and cobwebs hanging from the lights. I woke up this morning feeling sick from it. It had a weird smell. I called last night for towels and wash clothes because there was no wash clothes in the room and yes there was two towels but I need to put one on the floor of the bathroom so I didn’t slip anyway they never brought them up so 4am this morning when my friend was getting ready for woke he had to go downstairs to get them . Like I said I’ve stayed there before and had a really god experience but this time made me question I feel like I’m getting a sinus infection from all the dust and crap in that room!

I had a great stay here. I felt totally safe it was clean and the staff was super nice.

Room heating system cycled constantly and was loud. Train tracks outside window with frequent trains traveling. Breakfast was basically same each day and not at all tasty.
The only reason I would stay again would be the convenience but definitely would want a different room. The pictures are a bit misleading and the rooms are not as nice as pictured.

There were pet smells in the room initially. Should have switched rooms, but got a little better over the stay.
That's the risk of staying somewhere that allows pets. Cleaning staff should have noticed it and done a better job of turning the room over.

I was charged 2 times the indian girl at the front desk is very rude. The meal of choice sucks my door was broken could not get back into room 3 times. I felt like I was being watched the entire time I was there.

Nice hotel for a 1 or 2 night stay. The shower floor and tile need to be replaced. Suggest an upper facing front room. Back rooms you will hear the freight train go by a few times a night.

We were disappointed that the cleanliness of our kitchen was not clean at all. Fingerprints and dust all along kitchen cabinets and inside. We only used refrigerator. Common areas were nice and breakfasts were good. Coffee weak.
Also would of liked housekeeping everyday. We were there 3 nights and not once did we have the room cleaned or trash removed. We asked for clean towels everyday. Dirty towels remained in our room.

It was a good stay over for me. The reception was warm and the staff accommodating. The property has a homely feel. The structure, surroundings and overall appearance resembles our homes
There is a complementary breakfast from 6-9a.m. I would have loved until 10 a.m. but I made it there just in time. It's a basic breakfast but with some good options for healthy eaters. The breakfast champion was of course Darren the resident costumed Black Panther overseeing all things.
My disappointment was with the pool not being sorted and available during our stay. It was also raining continuously so my family could not enjoy the outdoor seating and BBQ station. But I imagine these are fun activities.
Car parking is extensive. The lot is part of the property and quite clean. Nearby is a Stop & Shop with good options, walking distance.

The stay was marred by the fact that we paid for a hotel with a pool and the pool was closed. We were told that it was due to a failed inspection. We had three 13yr old boys with us and no pool.
The basketball court was also off-limits due to uneven pavement.
How did this hotel get a 9/10 rating????

We were placed in a handicap room on the first fllor, engineers office was right next to our room. We were able to hear all of their conversations through wall and they often had their door open. Alot of traffic from elevator that we had to pass thru to get to our room. Kitchen light did not work and bayhroom could have been in better condition.

I like that it was in its own corner quiet area 10/10 i highly recommend. Me and my little family loved our stay.

My husband and I attended a wedding nearby and were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Marriott Residence Inn. The room was fantastic, large, well equipped with all the amenities one could need. The shower was fantastic, strong and great temperature control. We enjoyed the generous complimentary breakfast the next morning before our 11 AM departure. Will definitely book there again!

Really nice little room, love that there’s a kitchen and living room. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was a great stop before leaving.

For cleanliness they are an 8/10. Would be a 10 but there bathroom could have used better cleaning. Staff was courteous and pleasant. The hotel has a small outdoor area which was nice to sit and relax in. Nice view from window of some greenery. There is a Shoprite conveniently located in the same parking lot as the hotel. There was plenty to explore in the area within a 10-40 minute drive. Would stay here again.

Room cleaning missed on several occasions. Don’t make or change the pull out bed .. had to collect new towels due to no room service .Also no bedding for pull out bed which I had to collect from reception

Very disappointed. Check in was at 3pm, we didn’t arrive until after 4pm and our room was still not ready. They gave us a different room that was ready. Couch was torn, tv did not work, there was open food and garbage in drawers, dirty socks left and mold in tub. Staff was apologetic and tried to help us but there was just so much they could do for us.

Wonderful stay. The only negatives were the tile floors were sticky and the light fixtures in the kitchenette were full of cobwebs. Other than that it was great!

The staff at the front desk were more than accomodatiolng to a medical situation that required us to extend out checkout. Thank you to the sweet ladies at the front desk for your help. This place was 1st class.

We were upgraded to an executive suite, but the sofa bed had no sheets and their were a few crumbs in it when I opened it up. The bathroom floor was a little bit dusty in two corners. Also, the people across the hall were very loud until 3 am.
On the upside, the shower was great, the room was spacious and otherwise fine.
