It was lovely as always Please consider some sort of hand raile in the showers ,as the floors are very slipery .health and safty of all tipes of guests safty . Thank you for concidering my segestion

The property was old and dated. The building was in fair condition but thankfully clean and tidy. The shops and buildings surrounding were also old but fair. The staff are friendly and helpful. Will recommend this motel to friends and family.

The staff was friendly, however there was some confusion on my part because an email I had printed out from Expedia before my trip indicated that a deposit had been paid when, in fact, the hotel had not received any deposit. I paid the full price at check-in, but when I checked with my credit card company I was able to verify that no deposit had been paid on the card. Why did you tell me it was? Also the restaurant was very good.

You get what you pay for, i didn’t actually meet any staff other that a raise of the eyebrows from the guy on reception when I checked out. The bottle of wine was a very nice touch, so credit where it’s due. I’d stay again if I couldn’t find anything else suitable

Loved the pillows. Trying to get one on line ! Please have the available TV channels listed in your compendium. The breakfast 'across the road' was first class. The Asian menu was excellent. I am sorry this is so late in coming but our visit to Chc h was not a happy one, we were visiting a friend at theHospice We would certainly consider your accommodation should be visiting chch in the future

Clean and nice, we loved our stay here. Will definitely book with the hotel again if we come back to Christchurch.

The cockroach in my room was the start of a terible stay. The loud humming noise all night was the reason i didnt sleep and when notifying front desk the man i talked to was lovely. But the fact i still havnt herd from management at all is whats realy discusting! Then once reading reviews i realized im not the only 1. The manager needs a serious wakeup call! Get off your but and sort out the seriously discusting standards of your motel.

I booked online for a double room got 3 single beds. Fully booked. Then i was told we wont charge for the extra bed! Food at the onsite restaurant was ok. Opened the fridge in the room, water poured out do turned it on, wiped the floor and the towel turned brown. Wasnt vacuumed as bit of rubbish under the coffee table. Also a horrible black fitted sheet convering a black leather couch that was peeling and ripped.

Very bad service tried to get guess to leave at 9 am. No microwave

Given awful dirty room on arrival, not what we had paid for. Our clothes to be hung in kitchen cupboard. No wardrobe/ cupboard in bedroom. Sofa in sitting area dirty with lots of crumbs visible on seating. Bathroom not clean plus grubby shower curtain. Advised reception, told no other room available,.busy weekend. When a little insistent found another room. Just like one i had booked for online. So eventually all good. Restaurant untidy, dark needs a good clean and refreshing. Thick dust on very large lamp shades. Chef visible. Dirty untidy cooks whites. Bad impression for customers. Young staff in Restaurant excellent service.

I have stayed here before and really liked the place. However, the room that we staying in was poor. No large plates and the chairs were in third rate condition.

Had an unexpected wake a call at 2am.Woke me up and then couldn't go back to sleep as a large group staying in rooms above and Next door were really loud thumping around and laughing until 3am.When I mentioned this to receptionist she said she would look into the wake up call but never got back or even apologised. We have stayed before and have had pleasant experiences. We have also stayed here with large group and have stayed in room 303 before. We have had the 2am wake up call in this room, but thought it was a prank. Maybe there is a glitz in system and hotel need to check pH system so no one else is woken up at 2am.

Realized at 2am the doors in our room that go directly outside had been unlocked the whole time. Rooms very cold, heat pumps noisy.

Upon arrival there’s a fee of $4 you have to pay in which they assure you will get back upon departure, that’s fine, but this was not said in none of the booking emails or check in emails. Upon departure when asked if the $4 would be credited back I was told yes but please allow 5-10 working days. If it takes 5-10 working days, then please don’t say you will get back upon departure, because that isn’t the case at all!? Anyway, 10 days pass, I call back because still no money, they say sorry I can see money still with us, please allow 3-5 working days for us to get this back to you. 5 days pass still no money. I call back and they “oh that’s strange because I can’t see money here, and it’s usually withdrawn and credited back day of departure, this is now your bank’s problem you will have to call them!!! Honestly it wasn’t even about the $4 for me, it was more about holding you guys accountable, but I got nothing from anyone, when I told you there is no warning about this deposit you have upon arrival I didn’t get a sort or nothing just shrugged shoulders from the receptionist, there’s no accountability, same as when I told you I still haven’t received the money back almost a month after departure, no accountability!!! As for the stay, we got a budget economy room and what can I say! Over priced for what we got. No duvet covers for the duvet. Instead it’s just wrapped in sheets. Duvet inner stained so bad it’s yellow/ brown in colour (meant to be white) yuck!

Clean and comfy beds

The property was cheap and chearful. Large enough for a big family and beds were comfy for a great nights sleep. Reception staff were fantastic

There was no clock/radio in the room unfortunately, tv yes, but i don't watch TV. Otherwise it was ok. Good heat pump kept the room warm.
