Older fixtures with an excellent bed. Great value for money. Very helpful staff. Located in a older neighborhood, if you want the authentic Chinese neighborhood feel, this is for you. I would definitely book again.

Comfortable hotel at a good price in a lively part of town. They don't do breakfast and the local coffee shops open a bit late. Metro is just around the corner

Hotel was satisfactory, we had a nice time there but it is in a rundown condition. The neighbourhood is fantastic though, lake is close by and right next to the hotel are great local dining options, noodle shops, dinner restaurants serving wok veggies, meats...bakeries...and right in the front of the hotel is a very nice tea/coffea place that serves the best matcha latte! Everything very cheap, no touristy prices. The minus of the hotel is the cigarette smell in the corridors, which inevitably got to our rooms, because some inhabitants of the hotel smoke and leave their rooms open to vent. We didn't smell too much smoke on the other floors, so we might have been just unclucky with the position of our room. Staff was very nice but nobody spoke english so we communicated through google translator. However, if you want a real, local, chinese culture and experience this is a great place to start.

The location is perfect, near the West Lake and the price is affordable. The staff was very friendly, especially Miss Hu helped us solve the problem by long-distance call after we left Hangzhou.

The staffs are friendly. Managed to checked in earlier at 12pm without extra charges. However, the room is dusty including its beds, floor and cabinet. The beds linen are not clean as we felt itchy after waking up from bed. Cleanliness of rooms need to be improved

This nice little hotel deserves more than its "Good" rating at this time. It's on a cute residential street in the Hubin area which is a premium part of town next to West Lake. The rooms are smaller but very well appointed and maintained. Good wifi. I wish the doors were better sound-proofed. The staff speaks little English but goes out of its way to help, and they always do. I'm very impressed with this place and plan to stay again.

I like walking so this hotel is suitable as it can let me visit a few hot spot only by walking around

The staff was great to deal with. If I needed something it was done with no questions. Early check in was great as well. The price was fantastic and it is located in close vicinity to West Lake. Room was a bit small but I only used it for sleeping so no big deal. Taxi to airport was there on time at 6 AM

The public places are poorly maintained and dirty. The room reeked of smoke, with mouldy stains and marks on the wall paper which is peeling off in places. The room is cramped, the shower does not drain properly, the AC does not work properly.

Conveniently located hotel near the west lake and the metro station within walking distance . Room not large but comfortable . Restaurants can be easily found nearby . Front desk staff were helpful and polite .

overall is ok , some staffs are helpful, some staffs are really not service oriented at all

1) Spacious beds
2) Staff was friendly and helpful
3) Location was close to West lake, shopping places.
Things requiring improvement
1) Bathroom having glass, which is simply not acceptable.
2) No fridge
3) Room next to elevator so noise resulted in disturbed sleep
4) Aircon whose temperature could not be controlled
5) Limited breakfast options (nothing vegetarian at all, no fruits, milk etc)

I went another hotel because that hotel was terrible and I did not sleep. So now I want my money back please

My room was particularly disgusting- especially the carpet and when I compared notes with my colleagues staying in the same building. Almost upon check-in, I went to the supermarket to find room freshener, room spray, even insense....didn't really even mask the smell.
The front desk asked us to pack up our luggage each day and store in lobby because new carpet was due to be installed. This was very inconvenient, and carpet was finally installed on my last day. New carpet was one issue and it did help with the stench, however, generally, it would take quite an overall to clean-up this dive, love hotel...
Probably should be a 0-1 star hotel at best.
