There was some confusion of checking in our bags at a different Hilton on Times Square just about three blocks away. Customer service wasn't great. The pillows are so flat, they make sleep not so comfortable. The room was nice, though.

It was nice stay at Hilton garden. Rooms were smaller and they don’t keep water in the room you need to take it from lobby which is bit annoying

Fabulous location! Clean, quiet affordable hotel in the heart of NYC!

Upper level corner room advertised as a Times Square view but wasn’t. We were 2 blocks away. The location was convenient. Housekeeping was very good. Front desk was a bit odd, different front desk staff gave different prices for the same goods and services. The shower in our room took about 10 minutes to get hot water. No luggage racks in the room. We asked and never got any. Lost water for a day without compensation.

The location is excellent! The lobby is too small. The self-service washing machine and dryer charge too much.

The hotel staff was extremely nice. However, the room had a musty smell but was very clean.

Very basic hotel in need of renovation and change of staff as half of them were unprofessional. Only good thing is location of the hotel and the size of the rooms. Other than that better to try a different one.

We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Checkin on a Saturday around 3 was a little congested but that is to be expected. We were able to check our luggage at 1:00 and go take a walk around Time Square and have lunch. The room was small but was perfect us. Plenty of storage and view of the One Time Square was nice although it is been reconstructed at this time. Still fun to look out at the ball every night. There was a little issue with hot water but we learned to let it run a few minutes and it would come on. Apparently it takes awhile to get hot water up to the the 29th floor. Housekeeping came daily and made up the room. Fresh supply of towels and coffee supplies were left also. We had $10 a day each to use in the store, We just took what we wanted daily, no one really took notice of what we took. Coffee all day in the lobby
was nice. They do serve breakfast but we wanted to try other options in the city. The proximity to Bryant Park,Time Square and the Subway are Phenomenal. We enjoyed getting food and just sitting in the park and watching the world go by. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

First they cloud not find our reservation, when they finally found it they gave us an upgrade that wasn't one. The manger and the reception desk stuff spoke Spanish with each other while we where standing in front of them - very unprofessional and rude.
To top it of stuff in our room wend missing...

The only criticism: the bar closed at 11pm on Saturday night. We came back from a show looking forward to a drink—closed. Seemed unusual

Great hotel. Great staff. Excellent location. Hotel is between Times Square and Bryant Park/NYC Library/5th Ave. The hotel offered a bunch of amenities, but we really didn't have a chance to utilize them.
The only complaint we would have are a couple of fire alarms that happened during our stay and the beds are a little too stiff for my liking.
I would recommend for the location, and cleanliness. Would stay again.

There was construction all day until about 5. The noise was unbearable. They should have warned us about the construction/noise in advance.

Stayed in Time’s Square as a base for a 3-day trip. The room was on the 35th floor. Noise from an upstairs mechanical room was constant—not deafening, but irritating and clanging most of the night. The window was broken and would not lock; during the rain and wind, it blew open 2-3 times—fortunately it wasn’t winter. I spoke with the desk, and they were polite but ineffective. Will avoid this one in the future.

The location was great. The room was dirty and furniture is heavily worn. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom and extra towels needed to be requested to accommodate. The bedding was dirty. We bought pillow cases and sheets to use. Not the quality I expect from Hilton.

During my entire stay the air conditioning system was making loud noises all night. I moved to another room on day two and that room had the same issue. It was impossible to sleep. Many customers complained about the noise problem, but it was not resolved in the one week that I was at the hotel. It was horrible!

This was my first time in New York and everyone warned me about staying in hotels.. they said to be prepared and not expect much.
Well.. Hilton Garden Inn, you were amazing! From the second I walked in and was greeted at the door, to the hotel lobby, special shout out to Michelle, who I had several interactions with, you were amazing, as well as Gulbyie and Lynn, you were both so friendly and helpful! The security guards at the entrance were super kind and welcomed you back with a smile every time! :) and finally, our room was clean and spacious enough to move around.
So friendly, so clean, and so convenient for seeing New York!
I strongly recommend!! You will not be disappointed.

It was a nice surprise bc I thought the place was like a “normal” hotel in NY, old and smell weird. But was not like that. The room was super clean and smelling good. The hotel service is amazing. The location was perfect, and no noise at all. I had a great night sleep. Super satisfied with this hotel and I will stay there next time I go.

Loved the convenient location and the fact the room included a mini fridge. Decent sized room compared to other hotels in Times Square. Cons: extremely high water pressure in shower and the hot water on the sink seemed to take a while to kick in (if at all). Also the menu for the restaurant that loads when you scan the QR code is outdated - so we had planned some meals around the happy hour prices listed online only to get to the restaurant to find out some items were no longer on the menu and happy hour was only on drinks, not food. Ended up spending more than we had anticipated because we didn’t have accurate information and it was too late to make alternate plans and get to our show on time. (The lobster Mac was amazing tho!) Overall enjoyed the stay and would return again for future visits.

The usb ports in the room were not functioning so we could not charge our phones. When we brought it up to staff they shrugged it off.
