We were locked out of our room. There was a problem with the door lock and when we went back to our room it would not open. The attendant couldn't open the door either . She had to get a hangar to open the door. It was quite a hassle and took a long time to resolve.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to talk and/or wish us a good day. They were very quick to solve any issue (no water cups in the gym, adding our points to our room).

Rude staff at front desk. They didn’t greet us kindly, didn’t offer waters for my Gold Elite status. The bar was completely out of wine and most alcohol. Did not have blow drier in our room. For breakfast they barely had any items to serve. Starbucks machine was broken so they could only offer drip coffee. I stay at Courtyard Marriot properties about 25-30 times a year and this is not the norm for most properties. Less than impressed with this one.

This hotel cancelled my hotel room the night of my reservation without telling me. This was in the middle of torrential rains where driving conditions were too bad for extended drives. I was told there were no vacancies so I had to search for the next few hours for a new place. Ended up cutting my trip short. Marriot Bonvoy is absolutely terrible in my opinion.

The Courtyard is a clean and modern hotel. The staff are very nice. However, true accomodations could use some attention. The smoke detector was covered with paper and the shower was rickety. Otherwise, a decent hotel.

tv did not work properly. dirty elevators. no brkfst included for price. closet door magnet broken, door stayed open. very low water pressure at sink. no shower door, water could go to floor. no microwave above frig. frig very small. as square dancers and ballroom dancers we often travel and frequent hotels in our travels.

Apparently the hotel had a power outage and they couldn’t make keys ALL WEEKEND!! They did offer to cancel the rooms if it was an inconvenience, but everybody was there for a wedding. The hotel says that they will give a discount. Please tell me why I still paid $200 to stay there. That’s not a discount. Especially when that was my price prior. I don’t recommend this hotel. They don’t have their stuff together and they will lie just to get you to stay. The discount wasn’t immediately applied to our bill because she claims she had to get with “ management” but my mother used the same girl upon checking in and got a discount, a HUGE ONE she only paid $129. When I checked my account with the updated price, I was disappointed to see that no discount was given for the HUGE inconvenience.

Not sure where to start as im extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the courtyard in Hammond LA. I will say the staff was extremely nice. But the facility needs to be cleaned. Elevators filthy the entire time. But that was not the main issue. My room had so much mold in it that my eyes swole up and I started sneezing like crazy. Allergic reaction to all the mold. They switched my room and guess what??? Same issue. Mold all in the ceiling all in the bathroom. It was to the point i went and laid in the rental vehicle in order to be able to breathe. Im super disappointed and feel like i should be compensated for my inconvenience. Spoke to the lady at the desk and she told me to file a complaint. This was not an easy task and was told i have to wait 3-5 days for a response from the 800 number i was finally able to find on google. This place was worse than a motel 6 and the prices where 2x higher. Someone needs to fix this. I cant post my pictures but if you could see how much mold there was it would disgust you.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely wonderful! Friendly, helpful. We actually had a few laughs while checking in and out! Had a small issue with the air in the room, and it was handled so fast!!! No complaints!! Will stay here again!!!

There was construction which meant a change in our reserved room—no warning or apology. First given a room that smelled very dusty and like new paint. Had to request a change. Next room was attractive and recently updated but plumbing fixtures were loose and one side of towel rack was coming out of the wall. Wine and beer were extraordinarily expensive.

There was toilet paper stuck to the inside of the toilet and we had to something to scrap it loose because we flushed it 10 times and it wouldn't move. The carpet in the room was torn and my wife triped on it. The sheets looked dirty or worn. The bathroom wasn't clean and the ac/heat unit had a cabinet built around it so that the thermostat did not work properly and couldn't. The staff parked in the handicapped parking area. My wife and I have been itching since we were there and we have being applying lotion after showering and her bath. We usaly can trust this company branded property but this was very disappointing. We came to the Jefferson Performing Art's Center in Metairie LA for a Beatles tribute band concert not Mardi Gras so we are Christians and we only stay in nice places. Very Very Disappointing

The cleanliness of the room was not up to par. The shower was dirty, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The curtain for the windows we couldn’t shut do to painters tape still left up on it and the blow dry was covered and layered in sheet rock dust which was still in its bag.

Our room was hot, the water was YELLOW, there were little black hairs in the sheets, mattresses were SO uncomfortable, TV had screen issues where it was aggravating to watch, there was no breakfast (for what I paid for the room, it was pretty discouraging to not have the convenience of breakfast with 3 kids), TV remote was tucked into the sheets of the bed which leads me to believe that the beds were just remade and the sheets were not changed. The worst hotel for the amount of $$$ I paid. Will definitely never stay here again.

Bedclothes were clean, and the bathroom had been lightly cleaned by the shower base is dirty/discolored. There are holes drilled in the shower wall where something used to be mounted but no complete repair was made. The entire property is OVERLY treated with chemical air freshener. A restaurant/food charge was mistakenly posted to my room and having it removed was challenging with disinterested staff.

Hotel looks a little tired stained carpets and wallpaper, cracked tiles - it was fairly clean - although the shower glass was stained? Very comfy beds, nice rooms. no free breakfast - just basic free coffee -has a little bistro - did not try it.
