Cadlao was a welcome oasis after weeks of hard travel. Everyone from the front desk staff to our server Monica in the restaurant provided the most professional customer service conceivable. Free shuttle into the busy little town 24hr a day. Included breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. Must try the coffee jello! Dinner specials changed every night and the presentation and preparation was flawless. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, hot water and strong AC. Can't ask for more. In fact, we changed our travel plans to stay two extra days at Cadlao -- it was that great.

We arrived very late due to a delayed flight but immediately from check in until check out we were amazed by the wonderful service we received. The property itself is beautiful with 3 amazing pools to use and a beautiful view of Cadlao Island. El Nido town is walking distance but the resort offers free pick up and drop off from the resort to the town, making it convenient to explore the area. Rooms were cleaned daily.
We planned our tour ahead of time, but the front desk staff is efficient where you can book and activity day of, if there’s availability.
We enjoyed our breakfast views and wonderful staff that was very attentive to our needs, especially Amiel, Marie, and Kiara!!
10/10 would recommend!

We checked into this hotel and stayed in the third section with the third pool and it was an amazing room and a very calm and low-key swimming pool. We were staying there for several days and then upgraded to an oceanfront Villa with the most amazing view and in front of the middle pool which was more popular. One of our flights was canceled and we had to stay one more night which was 6 in total and we stayed in a garden view room and that was just as nice. The resort was very nice, they have a trike that can take you almost to town and can pick you up as well. It's a nice walk. If you don't want to take the trike. They have a good breakfast. The town is amazing and we had some wonderful tours. If you want to contact me I will let you know about all that. Tiffni

A pretty place to stay, walkable from town. The staff were so lovely and the pools/scenery were beautiful. The restaurant food was great! The one downside is the WiFi was a bit in and out.

We were blessed to have one of the ocean front villas. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff were amazing. The dining was reasonably priced and good. Would (will hopefully) stay again.

Be forewarned, the beach next to the hotel is not swimmable, it's all rocks. The hotel has a number of pools, one of which is quite nice. Staff was really helpful and considerate. The grounds have good views of the bay, unless they book you into the back area "Cadlao 3" where my room was. My bathroom had a bad odor--like sewage--that became realy noticeable when using the shower or anytime the door was closed. When I brought this to the hotel's attention, their solution was to put in a glade airfreshener to cover it up. The hotel was fully booked, so I was stuck with a gross bathroom for 3 days. Really unfortunate, because otherwise, the hotel was fine.

The sat is superb and very friendly . The views from hotel are PARADISE . The waters by the hotel very rocky . But other beaches near by like LEO beach are very very pretty . Enjoy!!

To be clear, this location is probable the best at El Nido, but the beach is horrible. If you wish to swim, you need to take a boat tour. Then you will see great places.
The El Nido bay is a harbor, not a good idea to swim in... If you wish an acceptable beach, go the Vanilla Beach.

Adored the rooms, we could hear the sea and the views were beautiful. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. Close to the town centre with great cafes and restaurants. A perfect base to explore the islands. Restaurant has a stunning view. 3pm free snacks and refreshments. If I was to be really picky the only thing they could improve on is to have an espresso machine rrather than pod

Jinjer restaurant is amazing! The pools are nice to swim with a nice view of the famous El Nido rocks

Not worth the money. Stayed at this resort and was not happy. The food was terrible. Ordered several dishes and to say the least was not impressed. The manager also stated he has received multiple complaints considering the food so they are aware this is an issue. Also there was a miscommunication at the front desk considering transportation and was not happy with how their customer service was. They stated threats were made but if saying that we will speak the truth and give an honest review of OUR experience is a threat then so be it. Also after several conversations with the manager there was still miscommunication regarding a tour and tried to pass the blame on the tour which was not the case. The problem was due to a front desk error of pick up location and point. One employee stated one thing and another was stated something different. They did try to remedy the situation by giving us a complimentary massage or extra day but it was not worth it. Sad to say but for the money was not impressed. The sea front villa was very nice but because of the issue with the food and front desk mishap you would expect more for the price of the accommodations.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For starters the food was terrible, from ordered food to the buffet. The customer service was the worst I have seen. The staff at the front desk could not provide clear information and had many different answers to simple questions. For the price of the stay this was definitely not worth it and will not be returning. They tried to over charge for dinner and had to correct them as they could not correctly compute the bill. Foreigners be ware!

This place was great! The staff were so helpful, welcoming and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the restaurant was good, very convenient! The route to get to the resort can be a bit tricky, but they do offer a Tuk tuk ride, where you’ll be able to get another transportation to your destination. I would highly recommend, the lounging area is very relaxing and the view is wonderful. I will definitely come back ,and I highly recommend for you to visit!

The service was absolutely amazing! From the front desk to restaurant staff. The room was clean and was serviced everyday. Bedding and towels were clean. My only issue with the room was this weird smell every day. Which I’m guessing was maybe plumbing. But it was tolerable. The shower water was hot every day except the last day, but that doesn’t take away from this resort overall. The food and drinks were SO good! But keep in mind the restaurant is an open restaurant and there are bugs and lizards as it is hot, humid, and rainy season (air conditioning in the room was great!). You may also get a furry visitor as animals roam freely in El Nido (a super sweet kitty appeared under my table as I was eating dinner one night). There is a fee for airport transfer which I’m guessing I overlooked. But, the resort provides free tuktuk rides to the drop off point. The resort doesn’t have much of a beach front, but a beach is literally at the tuk tuk drop off point (maybe 2 minutes away). This beach is really not for relaxing though. There’s restaurants and bars. Lots of traffic. This is also the location where boats dock for tours. So not really waters you want to get swim in. The tuk tuk can drop you off and you can find another tuk tuk to take you to another beach which was only 10 or so minutes away. The town is also in walking distance which was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

Cadlao Resort was a great place to stay for our family trip to El Nido. Our pool side room was perfect for our family of 4 and the kids enjoyed all 3 pools. All the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We rarely ate outside of the resort as the restaurant onsite was so good for all meals. The BOGO happy hour was a nice surprise! You can book boat tours right across the street from the resort and they will pick you up on the beach in front of the resort. Would definitely stay here again!

Grear food at restaurant
Service was good and friendly
Hotel is off beaten path - hard to find
You have to take a tuk tuk - transfer from van or taxi as access road to hotel is no cars allow off the beach which is access thru a 4ft wide allyway off main road

The views were spectacular and more breathtaking than captured in pictures. The hotel had airport shuttle to and from the property. We booked the family bungalow and it was perfect, clean, and situated in front the quiet pool. The cafe served great food. Manager Cid was welcoming.
There’s a boutique and island tour vendor right outside the front entrance. We elected the semi private island tour that picked us up at the hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel. It is important to mention that metro Manila hospitality reaches to El Nido.

Cadlao Restaurant and Resort was located within 30 minutes of the airport and right on the water. The views were fantastic. The resort is located away the the busy part of town, but close enough by a short trike ride to local restaurants and shopping. The accommodations were clean and spacious. The food at the restaurant was really good. We did not eat breakfast because we had early tours, but I’m sure it was just as good. The staff was great also; took care of all our needs. We would stay again!

Cid which is the manager is really nice, the front desk is accessible and the resort overall is great. I would definitely come back whenever I go to El nido Palawan. This is my favorite resort so far!

Overall okay.
Room was fine but a bit small
Nice pools
Okay food
Staff could improve kindness and service skills - example, when we arrived they didn’t really welcome us, and people (not dressed like the staff) was talking to the staff in Filipino, and the staff answered even they were in the middle of checking us in. We had the feeling that they maybe talked about us.

Expensive for a very small room. if you don’t book the room with mirrored doors you won’t have any privacy and you’ll need to close the curtains. And you’ll feel claustrophobic and with no view at all.
I left during the night and they offered us sandwiches to take away to my trip as I wasn’t having breakfast the day after. Was a nice touch that made the visit worth it.
They also helped by booking the tricycle from the hotel to the bus station.
I wish I knew about the tricycle free shuttle service before my arrival, as is very difficult to get to the hotel because you need to go through the beach.
And some tricycles didn’t want to take us there saying that they cannot go through the beach to drop us.
Contract them before your arrival and they will help you.

Great stay in Cadlao Resort. We stayed in room Tatlo and had a great view of Cadlao Island from our porch. A TV would be nice. Close to town and easy walk for Island Hopping Tours starting point. Free daily, all you can eat, breakfast was really good. We ate lunch and dinner elsewhere. Free tricycle ride to get closer to town saves 10 minute walk to town. Definitely would stay here again.

This is an amazing property. The only negative thing about this property is their charge for transport from the airport. I would recommend to just get a tricycle at the El Nido airport for 300 pesos. I paid 2400 for 2 for a van pick up. The most expensive 5 kilometre transportation i paid.

What a beautiful property in the loveliest location. The breakfast selection was different every day with varying hot Filipino staples as well as pastries, cereal, toasts and eggs. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, catering to every need. The massages were the best, especially after a long day of touring the different islands all day. The location couldn’t be more perfect, far enough from the town so it’s quiet and secluded, but still less than a 10 minute walk to all the bars/restaurants/shops and tours on the beach. Every time we come to El Nido, we only want to stay at Cadlao!

Staff and service were top notch! Shout out to Cid, the Operations Manager for going above and beyond. He is awesome and always checked on us. Front desk and housekeeping team were great too! The only downside was the main pool. It’s still being fixed and shutdown due to heavy waves from December which is understandable. Food from the restaurant were extremely delicious specifically the Tanigue in coconut milk and seafood marinara! We will definitely stay again.

Cid was very accommodating and his staff was outstanding. Friendly and quick service along with good food and beautiful views. Great hotel.

Cadlao has two different pools, both of which blend seamlessly into the beautiful backdrop of El Nido. The property is stunning, located directly on the beach so you can walk on the beach to the tourist area in the morning during low tide. The restaurant was phenomenal, and the bar made a truly delicious calamansi mojito. Despite arriving fairly late in the evening, we were greeted by the property manager with a virgin cocktail, and attentive staff who were quick to make sure our heavy bags were delivered to our rooms without our having to lug them around ourselves. I loved our stay, and would absolutely come back. However- some points to note:
1) they are an eco-friendly resort, so they reduce power consumption during certain hours, but they also have a generator to keep the fan and lights on
2) during high tide, at night, you have to be able to find your way through the winding back streets of the local neighborhood because the water will cover the beach entirely and you won’t be able to access the resort that way. It’s very easy to learn the route, but it’s worth noting if your vacation goal is to drink to the point of not remembering how to get back home
