When I checked in, the front desk staff was very helpful. I had a few questions, concerning parking and checkout time, and they quickly gave me the basic overview of what I needed to know. The checkout process was also very efficiently executed.

Check-in was very prompt and smooth. The front desk was extensive about what amenities the hotel offers. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast service. We were told that the breakfast service was until 11 am. When we went downstairs to the lobby at 10:30 am, breakfast service was all put away.

Wonderful staycation. The best breakfast I’ve ever eaten at a hotel. They are very clean and meticulous. Awesome pool. Bed was a bit too firm. I couldn’t get enough hot water in the morning for a hot bath. That was a bit disappointing. Everything else was perfect. The front desk guy was really nice and helpful.

The accommodations are nice, love the spacious rooms and the staff is very friendly. It's great that I can bring my dog, but if Marriott wants to stand out in the area of being pet friendly, they should consider how to make staying with a dog easier such as providing: water and food bowls, complimentary dog poop bags, a self-service dog washing area, and recommendations for dog-sitters or even a dog daycare.

Rooms were very comfortable with thoughtful storage and kitchen facilities. Great location. Only complaint is the breakfast bar was poorly stocked. Plates, utensils, food were non existent or inadequate for the number of people waiting to eat.

The suite worked out well for our dog. It was at the end of the hall and so our dog never barked at people and dogs passing by. We will stay here again.

location was excellent with regard to downtown Lawrence access. great staff. our room was above the garage which has a door which must be activated to enter. that was a dissatisfier, especially at 2 in the morning. all in all, a positive experience.

We stayed 5 nights and no one came to "refresh" the room during our stay, even though we asked every morning. They apologized profusely and promised that they would send someone later that day, but they never did. The same all over again the next day. Also, 2 of the days, the lady servicing the breakfast area was a mess (Thanksgiving day and the day before). When we got there there was no coffee, no plates, no napkins, and almost no food.

The room had bed bugs in it I was covered in bites told front desk they acted as if they knew that the had a problem with them. They made no apology whatsoever.

Room had all necessary amenities but aside from modern and complete kitchen facilities, is in need of renovation. Hard to deal light out of windows, sheets rather scratchy. No deal breakers but not great. It had the usual buffet breakfast, nothing special.

Great location, but that was the only thing great about this hotel. Our coffee maker was broken and we asked multiple times for a different coffee maker, but no one ever came to replace the broken one. The refrigerator wasn’t wiped down and cleanliness in general was subpar.

The only hiccup is the check-in. Multiple sites (hotels, Marriott) told me that check-in was at noon. When I arrived they informed me that it was 4. The desk clerk was great but told me this happens a lot. Seems like an easy fix to a pretty big inconvenience.

Underground parking garage with elevator into the hotel was AWESOME for a cold weekend. Room layout featured lots of clever and convenient components without making the space feel crowded. Small room but somehow felt spacious. Top-notch staff. Breakfast quiche was a nice addition to a typical hotel breakfast buffet. Can't beat the location. 100% positive experience. Only drawback to our stay had nothing to do with the hotel - there is an attached BBQ restaurant/bar joint that you can access directly from inside the hotel. But they close at 9pm on Friday/Saturday. Makes no sense to me right in the middle of downtown Lawrence (college town). So we ended up having to walk out into the cold after all. Minor setback to an otherwise fantastic experience.
