Mountain Pine Motel was a great place to stay for the East side of Glacier National Park. It is a very nice almost cabin like room. It was very large, clean, and quiet. The front desk was great. I would choose this motel again for my stay in East Glacier.

Needed a place to stay at the last minute, so took a chance on this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was VERY friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about East Glacier, room was clean, bed was comfortable. You can tell they take pride in their hotel.
The only caveat is our room did not have air conditioning, which was fine in early June and didn't bother us. There were fans in the room for air circulation. May not be an issue as I don't know the weather in late summer, but wanted to point it out.
I would recommend this hotel for a traveler who is budget conscious and looking for someplace to stay on East Glacier, but doesn't want cheap and dirty.

The host Mr. Sherburne was very helpful in all questions regarding hikes, information about bears and general info about the region. He even lended us bearspray for free.
Would stay there again.

Guy that checked us in was so friendly. Gave us tips on what to see. He even gave my mom his box of homemade cinnamon rolls! The rooms were dated and a little damp (rained a ton while we were there). It was more like a cabin but we kind of liked that part. Felt like a 70s vacation stay. Not for someone who prefers high end facilities.

Perfect place to stay for our weekend trip to glacier! Conveniently located close to two medicine and the east side of going to the sun. The owner was super friendly and helpful and had many suggestions for hikes despite the rainy weather!

Unique use of the upper level of auto body building, but it’s really nicely done and exquisite. Great use of old barn wood with story told in entryway.

This property is set in a rustic, yet clean, peaceful area. Although no breakfast is provided, there are options close by. The owner/manger is very friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable regarding history surrounding the area.

Property was in a very nice setting with the tall pines and lush landscape. The room was very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced for the area. We would stay there again. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed for five nights.

Wow! This place is a gem! The owner was so welcoming. He was super helpful getting us checked in, as well as letting us know about all of the dining options in the area. The place itself is SO cute. You can tell that they have done updates over the years to keep things fresh, but there is still the original feel of when it was built and lots of mid century elements. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean! Also, the amount and quality of the towels was better than most places I’ve stayed. I was very impressed overall and we will definitely return!

We had a wonderful two-day stay. The manager was so friendly and supportive. The room was nicely decorated and convenient. I’d recommend the place to anybody!

This little spot is a real gem. The rooms are comfy and a great spot for a home base while visiting Glacier. The owner is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. You can walk to local cafes. 15 minutes from Two Medicine, 35-40 from St. Mary and about 70 to Many Glacier. We’ve stayed in a couple places and this is our favorite. We will be back!

What a pleasant surprise our room was. Cozy, clean and very comfortable. Staff were excellent, and very welcoming after a day of long driving. Highly recommend this place.

Clean comfortable old style motel. Parking out front of your room. Clean room, did not smell musty or moldy. Clean bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The only drawback is the walls are thin; you can hear everything in the room next to you. There is a train line near by and you can hear that too. I had a Bluetooth speaker with me so I listened to ocean waves over that to drown out any other noises. It’s a great place; I enjoyed it. Staff very friendly.
