The hotel was a hidden gem. I received the best service at check-in and at the restaurant and from the cleaning staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Plus you get a Fussen card which allows you to take the bus for free all over the little city.

Wonderful family hotel located within easy walking distance to town. Very clean, friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend staying here. Parking onsite. We would definitely stay here again!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I requested a kettle, and when the first didn't work, they happily loaned me another. The sauna was wonderful after a cold rainy day in the mountains, and helped ease sore muscles. The breakfast was very good! Everything tasted delicious, and was presented well. There were many staff members that helped me in different ways, and all so polite and kind. I thought the room and bathroom were nice! It was quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and a very pleasant stay. I'd love to return some day.

Very friendly and caring staff. Not much options but nice, tasty and well prepared breakfast from local products. Rooms are large and well equipped. Overall satisfying stay.

The owner is the sweetest Lady. Goes out of her way to help you. Her English is perfect. Will try to go back again on our way back to Munich. Highly recommend this place . Her breakfast was better than anything I’ve ever paid for and it was included. Very clean and large room.

The view is perfect. The location is perfect. It’s close enough to the city centre that it is a quick walk from the train station, and it’s far enough away so that it’s quiet and has a full creo if the mountains from the balconies. When I arrived, there were alpine horns playing for someone’s birthday. The hotel restaurant had local cuisine with excellent vegetarian options. Breakfast was great. My room was comfy and my balcony was AMAZING. I wrapped myself in a blanket and just sat outside with a beer and had lovely evenings.

Nice place. Very friendly staff. I read reviews that the food was excellent. So didn’t eat all day. The dinner was a la carte. Nice but didn’t get very much. Nowhere else to eat around. So if you have a big appetite. Eat before you get there. Breakfast was free & was excellent. I couldn’t fault it. Would stay again but make sure that I had dinner elsewhere. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Clean hotel with really friendly staff. So I’ve learned a lesson but it wasn’t unforgivable

Quiet little “alpine type” German Hotel. Walking distance to an area with many places to eat, in a little downtown type area. Not far from the Neuschwanstein Castle. Lots of photo opportunities!

Very pleasant stay. I arrived bit early. The receptionist was very kind and I was able to check in immediately. The room was clean. From the room balcony, I can see the castle and the mountain. Very nice view. 10 minutes walk to Fűssen station.

My room was a single and on the small side, but perfectly sized for a single traveler and very cozy. The furniture looked new and everything was well maintained. The bathroom was new and modern. The WiFi worked well. Breakfast was good. Overall, the hotel was very nice and I had a pleasant stay. The only downside to the room was that walls and ceiling are not well insulated and in the morning I was woken up by stomping in the room above me. Ask for a top floor, and if possible, a corner room with views of the castle. Parking is limited and it can be hard to find a spot when returning in the evening. Old town and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk, so a little inconvenient. However, there is a very nice walking path close to hotel that has great views of the mountains and castle. The castle is just a 10 minute drive away.

Great hotel and the room had a view of the castle. The restaurant was great and was walking distance to the nice city. On the 3rd floor, the owner show is Olympic medals in hockey, make sure To go see that!.

The hotel was lovely and the room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the garden was very pleasing. The view from our room was not so grand, but the things I liked least were parking and breakfast. Breakfast was awful and trying to drag a suitcase across pea gravel is not easy.

The room was very nice and cozy. We were able to see Neuschwanstein from the window. The breakfast was also fabulous and the staff was very kind even though we arrived very late at night.

Our family stayed at the hotel 2 nights. There were 2 adults and 2 kids, age 6 and 8. The room was very nice. It had the side with a master bed and the other side was a pull out sofa for the kids. Plenty of room for all of us. Tasty traditional Bavarian breakfast. Really nice staff. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Used this location as a base to visit the castles and other sites of the area. The hotel and the town are among the most picturesque I have ever stayed in. The staff were very welcoming and approachable for all our queries. My spoken German is ok and staff really appreciate the efforts some of us make to converse with them, this is true of the general populace as well. We had some great meals in the town and in the hotel and there was plenty for the whole family to see and do during our stay. I would move to this town if I could sort out work and family back home. I loved it.
