Stayed the night on our Pacific Coast Highway trip. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was a little sparse compared to chain motels, but the room rates were quite a bit lower. So, you get what you pay for.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Oceanview Inn. The hotel was the perfect place near Jedediah Smith state park where we could return and relax in a spacious comfy room. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the vibe is very family and couples oriented and feels safe and comfy. I highly recommend for anyone. We stayed twice in one week on our way to and back from an Oregon road trip. We plan to make this our go to hotel when we visit the area.

Booked 2 room suite with 2 queen beds and 1 king in separate room. The whole room was huge, and the separate room added privacy. Everyone at the front desk was very nice. They accommodated a late check in as we didn’t arrive until 11pm. Then had no problem with all of us staying in the lobby visiting with family arriving late as well. Breakfast was basic Cereal, yogurt, bagels and coffee. Simple and hit the spot! Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very quiet, didn’t hear anyone else during the night. Rates were great as well!

Conveniently located, older but we’ll kept hotel. We took advantage of their spacious 3 queen room which was perfect for our family. The breakfast was simple but good.

Staff was very friendly, even though there was some confusion with our online reservation at first - we were allowed to check into our room, while they cleared it up, thanks! Our room was clean, quiet and spacious, WiFi worked great, the classic conti breakfast was convenient. Great location for visiting the Redwoods, we enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely everything we needed. The staff was beyond freindly and helpful. While the room might could do with some updating, it was clean and comfortable. Loved being about to hear seals from the balcony. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed overnight at the Ocean View Inn. It was very clean and spacious. The only downsides was the bed were not the most comfortable but they worked. And breakfast was very light. Cereal. Bagels. Etc. A waffle maker and syrup would have made the stay great! Overall, the Ocean View treated us well and was a clean quiet stay for an overnight stop to get off the road and take showers and get some rest.

We always stay here on our trips to Crescent City and will continue to do so! The staff have always been pleasant and welcoming, the rooms are always very clean and comfortable with plenty of floor space, and the ocean views are gorgeous!

Maybe I was expecting too much because of past reviews, but I want impressed. The room smelled like wet dog. It was on the bottom floor, so the "ocean view" was more of a flatland view. Our room was next to the laundry room, so we could hear non stop tumbling and whirring sounds all night. The breakfast was just bagels and cereal. Any one of these wouldn't have been a big deal, but all the little things added up to make this a disappointing stay.

We really appreciated the affordability of the stay, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Somehow our booking for two nights on the app only booked one night in their system... we were fortunate that we were staying during the off season and they were able to accomodate our second night. The staff member was very helpful in securing our accomodations for the second night. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities more than adequate. My only complaint... and its kind of a big deal... the bed. The bed was hard as a rock and excruciatingly uncomfortable. Im writing this review a week later and my back still hurts... The mattress feels cheap... which is, im sure directly associated with the rate we paid. With so few options, and this one being one of the higher rated choices in the area, i suppose you get what you pay for... Will I be back? Probably... mostly becausr I'll know what to expect.

I booked the room with a jacuzzi. After a long drive from San Francisco, I was told there were no rooms with a Jacuzzi available as they were booked. So we paid for a room we didnt get. We stayed in Room 318. Girlfriend woke up to use the bathroom and killed a cockroach and another bug she couldn't identify. If we hadn't already paid for the weekend, we wouldn't have stayed..

The linens (bedding and towels) are old and very low quality. The amenities are basic and next time I'd bring my own soap. However, as far as hotels go in Crescent City, I've been in far worse. At least it felt somewhat safe. The free breakfast was very disappointing. Opted out and drove to starbucks.

I usually avoid leaving bad reviews, but this place shook me and changed the course of our trip. The rooms are warm and have beds, decent amenities, so it was okay to spend a night. That being said, it was uncomfortable from the moment we entered. The staff were cold and unkind, the hotel from parking lot, to lobby, to room was a very uncomfortable feeling that I can’t explain easily. I don’t usually believe in ghosts, but our TV had a mind of its own and our AC unit started ticking loudly even when unplugged. This is what had us desperate to leave after one night, as people with sound sensitivities especially. There is also a foghorn nearby that sounds every 8 seconds, and this is important to know if staying anywhere in Crescent City. I don’t want to negatively affect this business, but also want people to be aware of what they’re going into. When I checked out a day early the (I think) manager seemed angry and criticized how little I booked the room for. I was very relieved to leave.
