The room was clean and the shower had a sliding glass "barn door" that was great. The only thing about the room was the "locker room" odor that hit us every time we entered the room. The breakfast was ample with a good selection of food. The location was very convenient.

Was not happy to see that days before my stay they began charging for EV charging. This used to be an advantage of staying here. Now I will look elsewy

We booked for 2 days, but then called - both Hotels.com and the hotel directly, to cancel the second night (Sunday night). We did that on Tuesday, before the 12pm Wednesday deadline, yet we have been billed for the second night. Not thrilled about that, and it's enough to stop using Hotels.com.

All went well; very helpful front desk staff. I had to store freezer packs for medical supplies and they did that with no hassle. Room clean and comfortable. Easy access to Rt 87. FYI: go the back way into town on busy weekends... go left out of hotel ... not right onto main street. Skip that hassle and go the back roads way w/no traffic. There's a lot of traffic in NP.

Everything was clean and fresh looking. The front desk staff were friendly and quick. My kids loved the pool. The location can not be beat. My only complaint is our mattress was not super comfortable. Felt like it was ready to be replaced.

Comfortable hotel, pool area was nice but a little cold. Easy to get to from the high way. Not far from the college or the town center. Would stay again

Pleasant place to stay, would come again when in the area. Near town with many restaurants. Sad that the fireplace in the lobby was out of order on a very rainy day. The indoor pool was quite nice. Breakfast ok. Stayed in a room with disabled accommodations, helpful though it would be good if such rooms were not located as far from the elevator as possible.

This Hampton Inn by Hilton is really a fantastic place to stay for some time away from Home. The pool is enjoyable and relaxing. The staff is warm and helpful. The rooms are always clean!

My girlfriend and I spent a short two nights stay here. It was worth it and totally recommend this hotel. Very clean and nicely located. Great breakfast menu and very nice and amicable staff.

I stay at this hotel every time I go up to new Paltz for hiking adventures. It’s clean, my dog can stay with me, staff is always helpful and nice, restaurants and supermarket is literally across the street, breakfast included in the morning and it’s conveniently right outside the heart of New Paltz and an easy 15 minute ride to the nearest trails. Love this place!

I have to say that the hotel was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was terrific.
The pool was a wonderful addition to a busy trip.
And the staff was not only nice and helpful but also funny and easy to talk with.
You don’t always find that so this hotel was just all around exceptional.

Great place to stay and a great breakfast too. The Western Omelette was fantastic in the morning and the coffee. Bed was comfortable and very quiet there too.

We only stayed 1 night, but the room was clean, and tidy. We are usually very picky about hotels, will only stay at 4/5 star places, and are especially picky about cleanliness but Hampton Inn was great. Exceeded my expectations. Convenient location to downtown. Overall the hotel was updated, neat, clean, and welcoming. I would stay again. Thanks

Staff was so nice, the whole building was beautifully clean, decorated for the holidays, the room was immaculate, bed was so comfortable, it was so nice to have the couch to sit on and relax, too. Bathroom was well stocked and spotless. Could not have been better. We didn't have the breakfast (only because we had a long drive ahead of us that morning) but it looked and smelled wonderful. The pool looked very inviting, hopefully next time we use it (we just didn't have time this trip). Hubby liked the workout facility. Absolutely would highly recommend this hotel and next time we are in the area, this is exactly where we are staying. Price was awesome, too.

There was a previously broken cabinet on the bottom left of the TV stand, which contains the fridge. However, that didn't take away from the clean, cozy room.

I was shocked at the charge on my credit card cuz I never would have booked a room for $250 in the New Paltz area. Yes, in NYC, but NO in New Paltz!

One of our rooms was next to outdoor mechanical equipment and my daughter and her husband barely slept!!!
