After a long day of travel, we arrived around 1130pm for our stay, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The place is neat, being tucked away amongst businesses in a strip mall. The lobby was clean and nicely put together, and there were some free snacks available to grab if you wanted. (Granola bars, pop tarts, popcorn) which was a nice option. The room looks to have been updated recently and it was, from a glance, clean looking and tidy. By the time we tried to use the toilet it was after midnight, and upon first flush of only liquid and tp, it did not want to flush, and we did not want to try again in fear of it overflowing. We were exhausted so brushed it off and went to climb into bed. Both my husband and I found long blond curly hair on our pillows....yuck, but the beds were not amazing, but not horrible, and besides the hairs seemed clean. Upon waking, I opened my eyes, to see someone elses dirty sock left kind of underneath/behind the small table in the room, again, yuck.... We promtly called for a plunger as soon as we woke up and that did fix the toilet issue, thank goodness. There is no coffee makers in the room which was disappointing, but there is a pay coffee machine in the lobby. All in all, it was an ok stay. For the price, we were not thrilled with the housekeeping and lack of coffee pot in the room to be able to wake up and enjoy in bed.

Wonderful staff! The only downfall is no coffee machine in the rooms. Coffee vending machine is in lobby and the desk will give you tokens the night before, so not a big hassle. And the coffee is much better than you normally get in a hotel room.

First time staying here, and we would definitely stay here again. The rooms are small but for the affordable price it was awesome. It was well located for our needs, easy to get to all the different areas of the lower mainland that we needed to get to. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Absolutely No Ventilation in the room. They had a useless portable air-conditioning unit with NO outside exhaust connection. All the hot air was recirculating in the room and it caused even more heat and suffocation disturbing sleep. Everything was cramped and there was hardly any space left in the room as it was stacked with unwanted things. Not at all a worthy place for the money they charged.

I stayed for one night as it was the closest hotel to where I needed to be the next day. It's in a shopping plaza - a little unexpected but absolutely fine!! The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. There was an odd smell throughout the hallway & room, however, I went nose blind to it relatively quickly. There was an air freshener in the room which helped! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Check in was quick too. It was quiet all night until around 9am - there is a daycare in the plaza and the kids were playing directly under my window. I was already awake, so it wasn't an issue for me - but worth noting. Overall a great stay - I'd come back if I needed to be in this area again!

This place was fantastic! The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve met at a hotel. The room was quiet and clean and comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed which was just a place to lay our head for a few hours overnight while traveling.

Electrical outlets were not in good shape. There was only one in which I was able to place the plug in the outlet. The bathroom outlet was not working. Security is sub standard with use of keys instead of plastic key cards, which would enable a guest to have a key cut, then return later as a thief to enter rooms and steal things.

This is a small dated hotel however it is is very clean, the staff are courteous and helpful and in , what appears to be, a safe area. The room is small but clean. There is no elevator It is priced appropriately.

I wasn’t sure what to expect because of the mixed reviews and I have no idea about the area where the hotel is. It turns out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s tugged in a strip mall, easy to miss. The plaza was busy when I checked in because there is a gym, a liquor store and a bakery there, but feel safe as the entrance is locked and you need a code to get in if the staff is not there. It doesn’t have much amenities, but clean and offers complementary snacks and bottled qater. One thing that is not too convenient for me was breakfast. There is no breakfast place or coffee shop you can get to easily without a car. You can walk about 10-15 minutes to a Tim Hortons which was what I did. Overall it’s a good stay and I would stay there again.

We had minimal expectations for this minimalist hotel above a strip mall, but were very pleased to find the whole property very well-kept, modern, and clean. The staff, especially Juan, were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and eager. Will plan to stay there again flying in/out of YVR!

This is a fun stay in a revitalized little neighborhood. It is nicely renovated and accessed through a strip mall. The mall has a wonderful bakery and sushi restaurant. The only thing missing was an airport shuttle. There were available ride share drivers nearby though. Staff were friendly and helpful. All rooms are on the second floor so lack of elevator wasn’t a big deal.

This was the single worst hotel I’ve stayed at in all my years. Avoid staying here at all costs. Rooms are tiny and too hot in summer months. There is no air conditioning besides a fan unit that can chill the air a bit if you fill it with ice. During my stay, the room was much hotter than the hallway and would not cool down. Within an hour of arriving, I asked for a refund since the room could not be cooled down to a reasonable temperature and the room was too small to be comfortable for two people. Refund was not given and the front desk staff would not call the manager.

We had a great stay at the Queens hotel! The staff was friendly and very accommodating and the room was perfect for what we needed. The shower in the bathroom was phenomenal and the king sized bed was comfortable and definitely a true king sized bed. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of how hot our room was. We had a portable AC unit and a fan, however with the hot weather conditions our room was still hot. This is not a lack of efforts on the hotels side (as they provided a fan and ac unit) just a note for future travellers to be aware of. That being said, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. The price was right, it was only a 20 minute drive to the airport and staff was great. Thanks for the awesome stay!
