Customer service was great but the hotel overall was not very clean. We had to change rooms from our original room because of a bug issue. When I requested a change the front desk was very apologetic and switched us immediately without question though. The hotel overall was not very clean though…stained bedding and what appeared to be bloodstains on the curtains in our first room. The floors in the hallways needed to be vacuumed also but we did come in during the evening so maybe that was why.

The hotel is showing its age a little. The calking around the shower needs to be replaced or cleaned.

I was on call and had to stay overnight for my job last minute. It was so happy to get the first room by the front desk on the first floor. It was very convenient to food and was very safe. Everything in the room was very clean. The A/C worked great.

Hotel was great. clean room, nice updated hotel, good breakfast. Great location close to casinos and good dining near by. Besides limited parking, Hotel front desk staff was the only negative. staff seemed like they rather be somewhere else, or did not pay attention to detail when checking in. Tried to make me repay for a room already prepaid online for.

Everyone in staff was so friendly. We were staying there with a softball team and they helped us make accommodations for the girls. Karissa (manager) was exceptional!!

I was charged pet fee for service animal even after showing my military id . Then my room was next to a woman with a small baby and the baby cried all night and morning and my dog barked. She is trained to tend to someone in distress. I was sent a nasty email stating that the sheriff and animal control were called and would be removing my animal at my expense. I have never been treated so poorly. Fortunately I was able to get the pet fee removed the next morning after showing my service connected disability id , I believe it is illegal to ask for paperwork on my animal. However I did show the front desk that I am in fact a veteran with PTSD and they were in the wrong to charge for my animal.

My stay was amazing. When I checked in, the young lady greeted me with a smile and was very neat, helpful, and professional. My checkin went smooth. The room was very clean and well maintained. Upon check out on Saturday, February 10, 2024, the young man at the desk was very professional, neat, and had a smile.
As I went to the elevator on Saturday, the two maintenance engineers greeted me with a smile and were very courteous. My room was noise-proof.
Moreover, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel location was in close proximity to the location of my business meeting.

Our stay was wonderful! Check in was easy, the room was clean and staff was friendly. There was free coffee and hot water for hot chocolate available in the lobby. Nice option because of the cold rainy weather. The next morning breakfast was hot and delicious! Will definitely stay here again when in Lake Charles!

Bathroom was dirty, mildew and stained tub, black spots on toilet, and floor was dirty. No soap nor body wash, no house keeping, no clean towels, not a pleasant stay. After arriving was charged an additional $10 per night, the room was paid in full before arriving. The additional charge was reported for incidentals, but no refunds. There were no charges to room during my stay.

The stay at this location met expectation with the exception of a few issues with our room. Friendly staff, easy and convenient to the local casino area; however our room had a few issues. The bed comforter was stained, and the restroom toilet seat was not cleaned. Issue was addressed with front desk staff but since the room was booked through hotels.com they advised I would have to address with the website directly.

The staff at check was very friendly even though they were dealing with computer issues on a holiday weekend. The hotel is well kept. The beds were comfortable. My only issue would be that we had very little hot water in the shower.

My TV was not working. I had to unscrew one of the light bulbs to turn off lamp before I went to bed. The other light bulb in the lamp needed to be replaced. The switch on the lamp was broken. Everything else was fine.

Staff was friendly, complimentary breakfast had good variety and food was well prepared. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel is convenient for travelers. The AC was not noisy, like it can be at other places. One thing I forgot to mention to staff is that the shower curtain needed to be a couple of inches longer. The floor got a bit from our showers.

Check-in was less than thrilling as there were five of us waiting in line and the attendant was MIA. She's shows up after about 5-6 minutes and says, "Where's Victoria?" like there was supposed to be another person there. One of the elevators had a piece of tape over the 4 button that said "hold and press" which didn't work. So, you had to go back down to the 1st floor send that elevator up to the third floor and then call the other elevator to get you up to the 4th floor. I can commiserate with the people that complained about the water pressure. Aside from these the stay was nice; food was good; housekeeping was GREAT!

I had to wait almost an hour to check-in. There was nobody at the desk when I got there. A number to call that nobody answered. Finally someone did and sounded like she was sleeping. I was able to get my room cards and get rest. Everything else was fantastic.

The toilet was so short and close to the floor , it made it very hard to get up from the setting position. The lighting throughout the room was terrible. The front desk personnel was very kind and helpful. However I do not think we will be staying there again.

All the employees were very nice and helpful. One of the employees babysat my dog while I got items off the breakfast bar. Also, the breakfast bar was very good. Bedding was super comfy. Loved the pillows, will have to find some for my bed.

I booked a stay at 4pm the 15 of July At 8:30 before I arrived (5 hours away) I was informed that they had no rooms. Booked thru Hotels. Com. Receptionist was very rude saying it’s my fault for booking with Hotel.com I should have booked directly? I had no room . After contacting hotels.com they took care of finding me a room near by. It was remarkable I will be staying with them from now on.
