Friendly staff with clean and thoughtfully laid out rooms. Free coffee and daily happy hour was a nice touched. Location was perfect. We will be back!

Our room was tiny, so if you're traveling with someone, be sure you're comfortable with them.
Fantastic hotel staff and location

Very modern & clean ! Loved the bar & coffee shop inside the hotel . Walkable to time square & Rockefeller . Would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The staff was exceptional in all aspects - bars, breakfast, check-in. A - few quick comments about comfort, knowing we had a standard or small room.
1. The bed was fantastic. perhaps the best-bed-ever.
2. The lighting was substandard. nearly everywhere. In the room, in the bathroom, in the elevator,
3. The bathroom was not conducive to normal prep -again with the designer sink, low counter, poor lighting.
We loved the soaps, lotions, etc. Loved the shower, and staff was exceptional. We recommend, and will be back.

Hotel was centrally located for everything I had planned, so it was convenient.
Front desk staff and service staff were friendly. Bar and cafe staff less so.
Shower had nice water pressure and water got hot fast.
Bed provided good support, but pillows did not. Pillows fell flat.
Rooms are said to be soundproof, but can still hear cars honking, sirens, and all the noisy neighbors including a family with a screaming child, a couple with a barking dog, and a couple that was cursing each other out for hours.
Curtains were not blackout.
Was expecting robes and slippers in room, but it looks like they needed ro be requested.
Room temperature was easy to adjust.
Only one elevator was working the entire weekend. Wound up taking the stairs to traverse the dozen floors.
For a 4-star hotel that charges nearly $800/night, I was expecting a restful weekend, but it was a bit exhausting.

Location is excellent. Well-maintained. Would stay again.

This is a very good hotel where the staff are the highlight; Lucas especially went out of his way to help us change rooms to allow my partner to have a more comfortable stay.
Wine hour and filter coffee are really nice touches.
Some bottled water should be available each day in the rooms without charge. Having bottled water from New Zealand to purchase makes for very poor environmental sustainability credentials.
One of the two lifts was out of service for 4 days during our stay which was very inconvenient.
Comfortable bed, poorly draining wet room (rest of the room floods as the tiles don’t drain along a slope), but good heating and AC.
This is a good hotel which could be great with some adjustments.

Made Hotel provided a modern, stylish, immersive NYC stay. Tucked into the middle of a bustling block in Chelsea, the energy of the city doesn't stop when you enter the hotel. The front desk is positioned between a coffee cafe, which seemed popular with locals and offered free drip coffee to hotel guests, and a wine bar that attracted a nightly crowd. The hotel also features a below-street-level tapas restaurant and rooftop tiki-themed lounge with a mellow vibe.
The hotel staff will make you feel like you fit right in to this hip urban scene. Check-in was a breeze, our room was ready early, and they went above and beyond to recognize my sister's birthday.
Our 3rd floor room was a page from an interior design magazine. A clean, modern space that faced an old brick building with potted plants, bird feeders, and enchanting doves on its fire escape. It was like gazing at a living painting.
Only one word of caution to future guests, sounds carry through these hotel room walls.

If you want a good nights sleep, don’t stay at this hotel. 2 out of the 4 nights we were disturbed by people in the next room at 3am setting the fire alarms off by smoking weed in the corridors, which then set the room alarm off and the smell crept under our door and lingered. It was quite frightening, as we couldn’t get hold of anyone at the front desk to check what was going on. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything!! There needs to be more security at night time, monitoring who enters the hotel rooms with the guests!! As I’m convinced there were non residents with guests one evening in the room next door, it really wasn’t pleasant especially being a woman on my own. Such a shame, as this is a lovely vibrant hotel with great staff.

The location was convenient. The room was a little weird. There wasn’t a safe or fridge, and the shower soaked a majority of the bathroom.. but overall it was a nice place to stay at

Staff rude and unhelpful on front desk. Hotel almost evacuated due to guests smoking weed in rooms. Alarms going off in room, called front desk. Vague and abrupt. Room was overlooking smoking area. Smell of weed got through even with windows shut. Cleaning staff made up bed, that was it. The street now feels unsafe and stinks of weed. There’s a smoking shop everywhere you look. Rude barmaid upstairs, very abrupt and unwelcoming. Room was noisy. Kept awake with street noise, toilets flushing, other people showering and walking around. We stayed at the made in 2019 and had a fantastic experience. So much so that we returned this time out of all hotels in New York. Disappointed is an understatement.

Stylish, modern, vibrant. Tons of locals come in to the coffee shop and lobby bar, but the place does a great job of prioritizing guests. Rooms are Manhattan-sized to be sure, but are functional and clean. Overall excellent stay.

Brilliant hotel. An absolute gem of a find!

I had multiple niggles during my stay which leaves me wondering why this place gets such rave reviews. I wont be staying again mostly because you can hear the neighbours and anyone in the hallway like they are in the room. Not great.

halls very loud

Check In was quick and room was great with a very comfy bed. AC took a while to cool room down even on lowest temp, that was the only asterik to an otherwise flawless stay. Would visit again.

Great hotel, but walls are thin. Got woken up really early to ask if we’d like housekeeping that day (uhm, yes?) and can hear doors opening and closing. Fantastic staff and liked the free coffee/hot cocoa during the day and wine during happy hour. Liked the overall design of the rooms (loved the vibe), but towels can be upleveled a bit (got some with holes in them), also lighting in the room was pretty sparse, and not a lot of seating available. Overall a good hotel. Vibey and unique.

Sheets smelled like mildew - otherwise decent place to stay in the area - bustling.

Fantastic staff, great location, but quiet. New favorite NYC hotel.

I loved it! Would definitely recommend. Quiet at night, so easy to sleep. Although I did notice a weird humming noise the night I stayed on the 11th floor, and I think other travelers have mentioned it. When I stayed on the 15th floor in a deluxe room another night, no humming noise. Very chic. Friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable staff, which are hard to find these days. Generous amount of Malin and Goetz toiletries, although the scent was a bit on the masculine side for me. Be aware that there are no mini-fridges. Again, loved it, would definitely recommend and stay again.

We were so excited to visit Made hotel as the photos were so inviting. It exceeded our expectations. Everything looked great, the bed and linen were so comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and stylish with delicious products. The staff were so warm and helpful and the general vibe in the coffee bar and lobby bar was very chilled and cool. The rooftop bar was great fun too!

Hands down one of the best hotel experiences that I've had. The front desk staff, maintenance crew, just all of it. Look forward to returning!

Helpful staff, great tapas and in the midst with great locations around Manhattan

Did not think parking as easy.

Beautiful hotel but very crammed and not ideal for travel with more than one person. Silly charges that are required such as $34 per day because they offer free coffee, wine, and hot chocolate for guests. Just very funny all in all.

I've likely stayed in 20 or so Manhattan hotels and Made has been the cleanest, kindest, and most comfortable. Nicely located, and easy to get a car to any part of the City/beyond.

Had a great stay here. Staff were super friendly, wine bar was awesome and the tapas restaurant is amazing. Definitely recommend

Small room but clean, simple and tasteful. Comfy bed. Had a roomy view. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

The staff here are great and the beds super comfortable. Our room was small and dark and the unpainted plastered ceiling quite dour but that may be personal taste. Four nights in this particular room was too much.

We really enjoyed staying at Made
Top positives:
1. Room was comfortable and felt fun and simple, yet luxurious
2. Delicious coffee downstairs (I’d take good coffee downstairs over bad coffee in my room amy day)
3. The room was great for sleeping, the blackout curtains actually worked and it was dark and quiet*
4. The rain shower was wonderful and had great pressure. We loved the wand for washing our feet at the end of the day
Things that could have been a little better:
1. *Our room had a door to an adjoining room, which we didn’t use, and the first night we had noisy neighbours and it was so loud. We ended up putting a towel along the door which helped. The doors to the adjoining room are definitely not soundproof, so we were lucky everyone on our floor was quiet
2. The sink only had cold water, which made it less practical for washing your face and such
3. The two mirrors in the room were great, but both had inconvenient lighting: the full length mirror by the door was low-lot so it was hard to see and the bathroom mirror had the cool bulb, but it was impractical for actually putting on makeup and such
3.0
Almost everything about this hotel is great. However, the rooms had the BARE MINIMUM. There was barely any room to hang clothes, no side chair for sitting. Only stools that we used for our purses and belongings. So if you wanted to just have a seat and a cup of coffee you would have to lay down which isn’t ideal. The bed was comfortable but the comforter had stains on it. And the bathroom had two towels only and barely any tissues. The last thing I wanna do after checking in is calling housekeeping and having necessities delivered ti the room and waiting for them before I can relax and take a shower. Not ideal.
