Needed sweeping and wiping down bad. Had a very bad odor

This may not be a fair review because I don’t actually know anything about the hotel Despite having a non refundable, prepaid reservation, the hotel called at 7:30pm and cancelled my reservation. They did nothing to help me find another room. Last minute rooms at other hotels were over $100 more than what I had paid.

This hotel is locked up like Fort Knox! No parking allowed except behind locked gate. they say they're NOT responsible if your car is vandalized in the GATED lot with security!! Every restaurant, store etc all have SEVERAL local police/ sheriff/ numerous security guards parked in every public venue EVEN the hotel! makes you feel UNSAFE to be in the neighborhood! the hotel, once you've parked in the gated LOT. Regardless of rain/ snow etc. you still HAVE to drag your luggage and kids and elderly, across the lot/through the pedestrian gate, to access the MAIN entrance. the hotel only has 1 elevator on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE BUILDING FROM THE GATED LOT! You HAVE to have a key card for it and all gates!! The only other entrance is the side door by the gated lot. However, IT'S on the FAR opposite side of the hotel away from the elevator. So kids and elderly and your luggage would have to be dragged up a lot of flight of stairs. If you use that side door. Front desk clerks. Rude! They're more concerned about PUSHING IHG signups & will rudely STOP checking you in to go chase a former guest leaving. To push the IHG signup & then they return to you to continue the sign crap! if you don't. The employee gets FLIPPANT & tsss'ss u! Then tells you "hope u don't have an accident" the other employee discriminates as to which guests are allowed to use the lobby restroom! It was * out of order* to everyone except pilots!! Room stunk , shower floor dirty, couch & rug stained!

The pool was a little small. The night staff didn't really want to answer questions. The room was great. But everything else was ok. Would not stay there again. It wasn't worth the money paid. Ohh and it was only one way In and one way out. The gate was broken 😔

Welcoming, clean, helpful & friendly house keeping staff, lots of near by shops and restaurants.

We were in town for a soccer tournament at nearby Mike Rose Soccer Complex - only about 5 minutes away. Just before leaving for the trip, I found that family members were staying at the same hotel. At check-in, the lady at the desk was able to get us a connecting room with our kids and grandkids! The staff was very helpful and kind through the entire weekend. The rooms are huge when compared to what hotels have become. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location is good, as there are several restaurants nearby, including Huey's Southwind (highly recommend) right next door. Breakfast is available in the lobby area, but is not free. The food looked good, but we decided to eat elsewhere due to having to get to soccer games. I definitely recommend this property if you're in the area.
