My bf and I have been staying here since we moved to San Antonio and visit family in Laredo. The location is convenient for us as it’s close to our families. Although the hotel is adjacent to some downtown nightlife and a plaza across the street, the rooms are so cozy and fresh that they’re never a bother as we’re asleep before 11 pm. The parking is extremely well lit and the neighborhood cats serve as security guards. The managers already know us well enough to greet us with a warm welcome at check in. The rooms have always been clean, roomy, and inviting after being out with family. One suggestion for staff would be to be on the same page with check in/check out times. On the Hotels.com website, it states 12 pm is the check out time while the housekeeping employee knocked on our door asking if we were paying another day since check out was at 11 am. When asking the manager at check out to clarify, she responded with, “ I can do 12” which isn’t necessarily a straight answer. Other than that, we haven’t had any issues when staying here. Hopefully it’s a one time occurrence because this hotel has reallly grown on us and we’d hate to go elsewhere.

It’s a nice hotel with friendly staff. Bae’s brunch that is in the lobby was great for breakfast and lunch.

Old but comfortable. Downtown Laredo is. Not what it used to be. Good place if you want to be downtown.

My husband and I went to Laredo for my husbands gig and this hotel was the closest.
The pictures on the internet did not give it justice. I was a little thrown off when I saw that this room had a stand up shower.

Our receptionist JR was amazing. Attention to detail. Easy explanation above and beyond service. Loved the fact that this hotel is 99 years old, and the staff have kept it in pristine condition and have presered the them of the hotel. It is a pleasure to witness this out of the ordinary hotel

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. It is an older property, but it is clean and safe. The only thing I did not like, but that may be unavoidable, given the age of the building, is that the restroom and shower are very small.

The room door security lock and peep hole required repair, to ensure additional safety. Currently, the door must be opened to view or recognize person trying to enter. Notified the front desk!

The sheets were not clean, saw hair under the first sheet itself
towels had stains on them(dirt)
not sure what can be expected at a small remote place, but that’s the observation

Staff and property are great and value is good for downtown Laredo. The noise issue is not a problem of the hotel, but rather outside street noise. I’d happily stay there again

Antique building was beautiful ! Getting to lobby from street side dark and hidden, once we found it, it was ok, we almost drove away
* Limited supply of towels, soap etc

The hotel was quaint and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Understand it is an older property but had plenty of charm. Extremely clean and room was dated but had everything I needed. The only drawback was the area around the hotel. It was located by a bus terminal so the street traffic at night was very loud. If you have a room facing the street you will have street noise all night. The hotel had sufficient parking and was well lit and plenty of cameras so felt secure. Again, the staff at all levels were very friendly and asked how my stay was going everytime I saw someone.I would recommend the stay just be aware of possible noise at night. I ran the AC to provide white noise and was ok the second night.

The Rialto is a great place to stay. With comfortable rooms, a friendly staff and a fantastic location it offers everything I need. Maintaining the historic charm of the building and the delicious cafe located inside where just added perks. I definitely recommend the breakfast tacos!

Hotel is very nice. The building is awesome. The area around is not very pleasant. Everything closes before it gets dark. I did not feel safe outside the hotel after 8pm unfortunately.

Great historic building type hotel. Rooms are spacious although the renovation could have been a little more high quality. Neighborhood is sketchy after dark but parking seemed secure enough.

Quite a nice hotel in downtown Laredo. Staff was great and supportive. Room was also nice and clean but here and there a little renovation is needed (nothing major). Enjoyed the breakfast tacos they offered, really yummy.

The Rialto was an incredibly beautiful and unique hotel in downtown Laredo. The uniqueness stems from its conversion from an old office building into a hotel. So, my hotel room was in someone's previous office and some of the rooms had signs for whose office it was in the past. There is a cute pharmacy on the ground floor as well as a restaurant. My room was very spacious. Also, the bed had a memory foam pad on it; one of the best nights sleeps I've had in a long time. Parking is also a little unique because there is one entrance/exit. I drove right by it. The entrance does not look like it is connected but it is. Also, at night, the parking lot was very well lit.
The only real "con" was that there is not very much in downtown Laredo. It's very unfortunate; it's such a beautiful town. I had to drive out to the "suburbs" to find some restaurants. However, it was very close to the Rio Grande and Laredo Community College.

Good place to stay downtown. Only issue was the bed was very hard

Nice quaint and historical building from the 1920’s
Last minute stay in Laredo ,quick and easy check in .
The Elevator malfunctioned so had to use the stairs to the 4th floor but the free breakfast the next morning made up for the inconvenience of the elevator being down ; food and coffee was delicious and hit the spot !
