First of all when you booked ...selected room was with window and i made sure by requesting room in written with window which they accepted but afterwards called back close to check in time..not available window room ..but you would have cool air all the time..Room was like a jail no window, no exhuast...it was so underground that you need 5 to 7 mints to find out the way to come at the reception and worst part was cool air was turned off after 01.00am ...couldn't sleep at all...and instead of 10.00am checkout i made my self check out at 05.45am preferrred to leave early..Car park was listed at the property but it wasn't the case..i been told to park on the off street outside hotel

Location was excellent only a few minutes walk to babbacombe seafront and shops nearby and staff were friendly gave 100% and would help with anything you needed

Curtains hanging off and had a dirty kind of mold on the back of them and the wall above our bed had what looked like someone had thrown coffee at it but didn't hinder our stay at all.

Had a wonderful value for money stay. Wasn't expecting much after previous reviews but room was clean comfortable and toasty warm. Staff were fantastic really nice welcome. Great location. We would defo return x

It was one of the worse experience I have ever had .no room service and staff must tell me this but they didn’t unfortunately and they just tried to be apologetic . I will never go back again 🤦‍♂️

Smells , mattress was very bad and no room service . You pay money and you have to sort yourself out .

The staff were all amazing, all so friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The entertainment was lovely and we really enjoyed the singer after a long day of driving.

Bed could be a little comfier, bathroom a little fresher but nothing major.

they make me feel really special here - especially Nikki, what a credit to the company. she welcomes me on first name basis, even tho there are 60+ guests in the hotel, she takes the time to make me feel so welcome that I don’t want to stay anywhere else because of her.

sometimes the beds aren’t great, but if I go and find Nikki she sorts it out instantly.!!

One and only issue was the shower, it was either boiling hot and had good pressure or it was just dripping out

Clean room. We had to change rooms as no heating or hot water but staff very happy to help.

After going through a maze of dingy corridors and up numerous flight of stairs we found our room (221) to be very small and cramped with a cracked basin in the tiny shower room. We were shown two other rooms, one where the coaches parked outside which made it extremely dark and dingy and the the second one (231), which we decided was the ‘best’ of the three, was much bigger had a bath rather than a shower cubicle but a dreadful view. Thankfully there was plenty of hot water.

Very old and tired. The room we stayed in was very dark and dusty. The tops of the curtains very dusty and difficult to pull on the old metal curtain rail. Water stains on the walls/ceilings. View from our window was onto a flat roof extension with soil pipes running across it together with 4 boiler flues in very close proximity to our window. Once the curtains were pulled back to let in some light the view was of more pipes and dead vegetation. The bathroom floor needed a thorough clean around the edges. NO ROOM SERVICE. If you needed clean towels you had to walk through the dining room with arms full of wet towels to get clean ones. If you like school dinners and queuing up for food then this is the place for you. However we don’t and we found the ‘food’ to be cheap mass produced and tasteless. All the cooks (not chefs) would have to be able to do was read how long to cook it from frozen. Although it was different soups on the 4 evenings we stayed they all tasted the same and every evening the same desserts were put out for people to choose from which got very messy. The bingo in the evening we thought was too long with with 6 different tickets to go through so any entertainment only lasted for an hour.
