Very cozy house and room with all needed amenities. Location is super convenient and walkable to all nearby shops/restaurants. Great value and welcoming property. Church gongs every hour were unexpected.. but otherwise a very pleasant stay.

The Gables is a beautiful place to stay in Rhinebeck. Accessible to village via walking. The rooms are lovely to stay in.

It was great! Just what I was looking for.

Never saw the hosts. Accommodations were fine. Less welcoming than other B&Bs we have stayed. I would not recommend.

Three of us (two adults, one teen) stayed for a night here during a pre-Christmas trip to visit family in Red Hook. The Gables is wonderful! Our room, StormKing, and everything about this place is beautiful and charming (especially right before Christmas). It’s just a few steps from all the shopping and restaurants in Rhinebeck. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful (especially when we were flustered upon arrival in the dark after a very very long day of driving). Fresh coffee and pastries for breakfast capped it all off. Reasonably priced for Rhinebeck, and we would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

The place is lovely! Very comfortable and right on the edge of downtown so everything is an easy walk away. Easy drive to Hudson River mansions and the Culinary Institute. Great coffee and and a water cooler. Plenty of places to sit both in and out with wonderfull gardens.

The house is beautiful, clean, staff was very nice and helpful with places to go and things to do. The house is close to everything! Just needs a mini fridge in the room. We will definitely go back!!

Great location in engaging town. Inn is a bit worn and offers few extras (including breakfast). Minor issue, but charged us $100 more than we agreed to with Expedia and never gave us a clear explanation.

The room was actually a 2BR suite that could easily accommodate 4 people. The building is historic and well maintained with antique and antique-like fixtures. Very comfortable bed and room. Will definitely stay there again.

The Gables is a sweet b&b but the couple who are in charge of the facility are not what I would expect when attempting to attract a certain level of customer. They darted around and were dressed in a fashion that I did not feel really connected with Rhinebeck …the dust situation really does need to be addressed.

We had a hard time finding anything last minute in Rhinebeck. We were lucky to find this little Gem called The Gables charming and quaint, right in town. The owner was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it. They are usually booked.

The Inn is in a lovely old house, with plenty of gables (hence the name) and pretty gardens and outdoor space for eating, reading, bird watching or even playing badminton. The rooms are furnished with elegant antique and modern antique pieces, yet have a contemporary feel, too. The bathroom was enormous and a great mix of old (tiled floor) and new, jacuzzi settings. Lots of great light in the bedroom and common spaces, and a light touch from the innkeepers mainly through text messages and emails that worked well. Good morning coffee and hosts accommodated request for non dairy milk. Very easy walk to the Rhinebeck town. Would definitely visit again.

The inn is very charming. Unfortunately, our room was FREEZING. It was so cold and there were space heaters in a room. The mattress was very hard. I look under the bed and there was quite a bit of debris.

The Gables was an easy walk into town to check out shops and restaurants. The staff was also friendly and gave out excellent suggestions of things to do close by.

A very cozy stay for one night. Booked the room with the jacuzzi tub. The tub itself was a bit disappointing, jets-wise, but everything was clean and pleasant. The heat was not on in our room when we arrived, but hosts brought in a space heater to accommodate us. Pleasant stay, overall.

Perfect B&B for our stay. Cozy old home built around 1860. Great location and easy to get to. We really enjoyed our evening. No real amenities. This is perfect if you want to have a place to sleep and enjoy the town.

The room was clean and nicely furnished. We thought the price was too high. There are no amenities on -site and breakfast is bakery goods and coffee. I also found the living room sub par to what was offered in the rooms - it felt old. No control over noisy guests either.

Lovely mid-1880s home in Rhinebeck, within walking distance to restaurants. Short drive to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds makes this the perfect place to stay for NY Sheep and Wool!

Great place. Woke up to morning coffee and raspberry bars. Service was great. Felt like being at my grandmothers house. Will stay again

Very nice place, I would return. Note however that they do NOT do breakfast. They provide coffee and set out delicious home-baked bread and cake; but not an actual breakfast or buffet.

Beautiful Gothic era home, pretty overgrown gardens. Clean. Bed comfortable, no extra pillows. No shampoo. No ironing board or iron in room. Pretty room and home. Cozy. The owners never introduced themselves or checked in to see if we needed anything.
