This hotel is very new so everything is in great shape. Our room was huge. It was more like a suite. Breakfast was very good. The rates are very competitive. We highly recommend this hotel.

Front desk employee was very welcoming. Room was big, clean and bed was comfortable. Also room was quiet and lighting was great. So meaning times we stay at places that the lighting is poor around the room and near the bed. plenty of options for going for a bit to eat. Didn't take advantage of breakfast. When in the area we would definitely stay here again

Love to stay here, but guests with trailers take up all the parking spaces. They should be required to park on the street (hotel is the only business/building on that street) or required to back into the spaces on the north end of the building.

Very nice stay. The front desk gentlemen was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and modern. This hotel is close to the interstate so it’s loud but I wanted to something right off the road so it worked for me. I had to leave at 5:30am so I wish breakfast started earlier but other than that it was great.

The building is fresh, bright and new and nicely equipped. Good rates. The only negatives being proximity to highway traffic noise and plumbing noise from above.

The room and amenities were as described. I will say the first thing I noticed on my particular stay was the VERY strong chlorine smell coming from the pool. I hope it isn't like that all the time.
The lobby was clean and spacious. The room looked like it had been recently updated and was cozy.
It's nice that there are lot of options for shopping and food nearby.

We have always loved the decor at this LaQuinta. We appreciate the bar in the lobby area and the breakfast is always so great and has a very spacious seating area.

Always amazing as usual and Sean is the best manager ever! He did some booking stuff for us and help us out a lot! And he has always been very helpful when we're there at the hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when we're in Altoona Iowa.

Lodging and staff were great. Breakfast no so much. 8:30 am all the food was gone and no one in site to help. Ended up leave and driving through for breakfast.

We came in on Wednesday the 7th around 1130 pm. We had our dogs for one night because we could not drop them off until the next day, they charged us for 3 nights. Each day, we had to get our key reset because they would not set us up that we were going to be there for 4 nights. We had to go and get towels every morning and the front desk people were upset each time. Shawn at the front desk was the only that went out of his way to help us when we had to get our key reset. I told him this was the 3rd time and it is crazy. He apologized and then i told him about the people above us up all night sounding like they were jumping on a trampoline. He told me to call him personally when it happened and he would take care of it. I did call him after 1030 pm cuz i am not expecting everyone quiet all day, and he had them stop...until 6 am and they were back at it. We will never stay here again!

I reserved a king bed and they didn’t have any available. Had to have a queen room. Why did Expedia let me reserve a king if they didn’t have one? Then it showed I hadn’t paid and it took about 15-20 minutes to get checked in because they said I hadn’t paid online but I had a receipt. The heater wasn’t working in our room and we had to move rooms after being in there for a hour and still cold. The Wi-Fi was broken the entire time. Breakfast was mediocre. Waffles were the best. Smelled like marijuana in the hallways. :(

Shaun at the front desk is absolutely amazing. The pool wasn’t working and we were staying to let my son swim for his birthday. Shaun was able to get us a refund for our room and told us to go to the La Quinta 10 minutes away where the pool was working and got me a room there for the same price. He went way above and beyond from what I’ve experienced from hotel staff before.

It was a very clean hotel with a nice front desk man. Also nice decor although it sucked there was no pool. Quiet and comfortable with nice dove shampoo and conditioner and body bar.

Very clean . Good breakfast. Nice bar. The desk staff was great. Texas lady and Asian guy made us feel at home for the 2-3 days we were there !

The first room that we were given a key to was already occupied and there was someone in the room when we opened the door. The pool was also closed.

Same as usual clean, comfortable stay with good breakfast. Easy to get to and to park, slightly noisy this time from interstate but nothing terrible. Convenient location for surrounding shopping and restaurants. Pool was closed entire stay with no knowledge of, which was frustrating because was determining factor on staying this time because other places didn't have pool and knew what were getting here.

Not hotel fault perhaps but the lady at breakfast next to us found a piece of glass in her gravy for biscuits. I took one bite of mine and it felt like I was chewing on ground up glass
