This is a very basic overpriced hotel with no amenities and cleaning services. The staff is mostly non Japanese without adequate training. Location is the only good thing going for.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at The Knot Hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay here again. It is in a great location and having the subway in the basement to commute everywhere was a huge plus!
8.0
There is no telephone or clock in the guest room.

I would stay at the Knot again purely based on its location overlooking Susukino. It's easy to access from Pole Town in winter and the rooms are modern and clean, although ours was a bit small.

Centrally located next to Tanukikoji. Good for shopping and night life. The basement of the hotel has a door open to the underground shopping walkway that leads to JR Sapporo station. So it’s possible to walk all the way from JR Sapporo station to the hotel entirely underground. It’s a big plus during harsh winter conditions. The downside is that the room is quite small and the restaurant had limited menu and the breakfast is set menu.

Good overall. Just missing skincare/amenities typically provided in Japanese hotels.

super clean and convenience in public transports etc.

This is a very decent place to stay for a couple nights in Sapporo! The staff is very polite and also good at English. Hotel location is very nice that nears to shopping area, train and everything else you need is near you. Highly recommend!

The staff were super helpful to everyone in our part of 15. The staff understood our needs and secured our gear while we toured the town.

Very conveniently located with easy access to Pole Town/ underground mall/ train stations. Excellent and polite service by all staff members from the moment we entered the hotel. Knot coins were a bonus to have. The desert plate and food were very enjoyable. Will definitely stay again.

Nice room and nice view

Great location. Facility is good, though the room is a bit smaller than expected. Overall, it'll be my first option when staying in Sapporo.

Very convenient location where Don Quixote was just across the street! Lots of food options nearby down the Tanukikoji street or further up from Susukino station as well :) Rooms were clean, toilet had a bit of smell somehow but bearable and didn’t affect the room itself nor quality of stay. Knot coins was an interesting concept and effort to gamify stay though a little complicated when you stay multiple nights and get many coins. Navigation wise, at times when you have luggage, instead of taking exit 1 from Susikino Station per google maps where you have to climb the stairs, walk the underground shopping street and get out from one of the escalators which points you to Tanukikoji 狸小路 exit. You’ll either be on the same side as the hotel or right at Don Quixote just across The Knot.

Loved the boutique feel, the breakfast was a phenomenally good deal. Nice “Knot Hour” lounge times with the Knot Coins & a great view of Susukino.

very convenient location and quiet tidy room at the same time, very appreciate it.

Just across the street from Donki, the main shopping areas, food and streetcar. The only thing that was bothersome was the sound coming from the steer below, which makes sense due to what I mentioned previously. Good thing I brought earplugs.

Really comfortable, clean, and stylish hotel in a fantastic area for exploring Sapporo. I think the Knot coin system they have for the bar is a bit silly though. I would stay here again if returning to Sapporo.

This property was wonderfully convenient. It was in the heart of Sapporo, close to Mitsukoshi and many shopping options, including Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which was right across the street. There was only one restaurant in this comparatively small hotel, and the rooms were a little tight, but it was new, clean, and nicely furnished. The staff had limited English, but they were very helpful and polite.

Room is clean. Good location and link to underground mall and subway station.

Was in Sapporo for a wedding. The knot was in the heart of Sapporo. You can get to the hotel through Pole Town ( the underground mall) ant it is nestled between the odori and Susukino stations. The location made getting around Sapporo so convenient.

The availability of 'coins' was very good, clean, and service was good.
They cleaned their rooms or filled them with towels every day.
The room was larger than I thought, but it was a little disappointing that I couldn't open the window to ventilate it because it was assigned to a high floor.

environment was gorgeous.

The location of the hotel was better than expected. Odori Station is within walking distance via The Pole (sheltered from the cold!). Overall a pleasant stay.

The location was great as it was close to many great restaurants and also very close to the subway line.

This hotel locates in a very convenient location in the downtown and the staffs are friendly with excellent service. The welcome desserts are delicious. However, given the convenient location, the hotel doesn't provide any parking space but the staff are willing to share nearby parking information with their customers.

The hotel was clean & well-appointment. The service was lackluster and a bit strange. Guest services we’re located at the hotel bar. At check-in, they gave us hotel coins to use for a complimentary dessert. They were really required to enter the bar area. As a hotel guest who had travelling for 20 hours, all I wanted was a quiet drink with friends in our hotel bar. We could not get service and left to seek out other options.

Very new and nicely decorated hotel with good location. Only negative part is that they have no gym and their pilllows are ”stiff” typical japanese pillows. All menys etc were in Japanese. Not so used to foreign guests it seems
