Everything was great except for the breakfast. No grits and it seems as though much care wasn't taken to prepare the food. The shower also needed to be wiped down. I prefer the Mount Pleasant location to this one for this reason. Even so, the room was very quiet and comfortable.

Convenient TO but not IN Charleston. Good value for a Charleston visit, 15-20 mile interstate I-26 ride to downtown. Breakfasts & Late Afternoon Snakes well done.

Overall the stay was fine, there was a basketball tournament going on and the first 3 nights were fine, but the last night we stayed, there were kids running up and down the hallways until 1230 am. We called the front desk more than once but sleep was very disrupted.
We did not have housekeeping services one of the days which was not one they indicated would be omitted.
Our stay otherwise was uneventful.

We were in the 2 bedroom suite. Clean and comfortable. Only minor thing: shower floor in one bathroom had stains, possibly from someone dying their hair in there? Everything else was great. Breakfast was good for a hotel, and they also serve a dinner (we didn’t eat it). Nice decor, and the staff person that checked us in was kind, and very thorough (didn’t catch his name).

Much larger than in pictures. Staff was very helpful after we had multiple housekeeping requests due to a sick kid. Laundry was free and right around the corner from our room. The breakfast buffet was very nice much more than a bagel and cereal. We couldn’t really figure out the heat situation until just before leaving but that wasn’t all that bad. Check out was seamless. Will definitely stay again.

It was nice. The reviews expressed the experience I received as well. I was booked for another hotel at the last minute saw they had an outbreak of bedbugs happen upon availability at your hotel, and I’ve been there over a week. My full day will be two weeks.

I have a puppy. My room was on the second floor and wayyyyy down at other end of hallway. Poor guy had to walk all the way down the hall, take the elevator to the first floor and then down another long hallway just to relieve himself. Also, the other dogs that were in the hotel were obnoxiously loud. It was like the owners left them crated all day and then let them out at 11pm and they ran all over the place for quite awhile.

Breakfast and dinner buffet on certain days were complimentary. Very unexpected but appreciated. Upgraded room due to Expedia overbooking; also appreciated. Expedia cost was over $200 more than hotel charge; not appreciated.

The front desk was very helpful and kind. I will say it needs to be known that their is a $250 liability fee if you have a local address. I booked the room for family coming in town. Other than that, it was clean and staff was friendly.

Generally the hotel was good. The shower pressure was terrible. The suite was large and very comfortable. The only critique I have is bary the breakfast options when possible.

We show up and get an unexpected $75.00 pet fee per day. They wouldn't let us cancel the room so we were stuck with the fee. The room they put us in was under the gym and we heard weights dropping until about 10pm. There was a giant stain in the middle of the floor, mold in the shower, and cigarette smoke smell.

Front desk was rude. Check in is at 4 PM and my room was not ready to after 6 PM. Bathroom had mold and soap scum as if the bathroom was not cleaned. Horrible experience. I will never stay at another Staybridge and will write a negative review on this hotel and staff on every review site.

Property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was plentuful amd well staffed. My only complaint was there was no t.v. channel guide or instructions for how the remote works. And had repeated problems with the dove shampoo and soap dispensers.

The stay and people were awesome except for our check out the person at desk was rude and not helpful we had an issue was basically told not his problem and we could not talk to a manager but otherwise all other staff was awesome

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the social hour in the evening . All the employees were very friendly and helpful . I would definitely stay again when visiting Summerville.😊
