This was a great place for a staycation.
It was my partner and I's last night together before she returned to France (visa ended).
So i booked a room at the Warders Hotel for a night so i could explore Fremantle with her one last time.
The hotel is in the heart of Fremantle, right next to the markets.
And the Cottage style room with the balcony to the main road was perfect for us to come and go as we pleased.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and like the hotel i highly recommend you visit the adorning gin bar.
Could not have been more perfect.

friendly & helpful staff. the room was so beautiful & had everything needed for a lovely stay. Clean yet old worldly, loved the floorboards & brass fittings/pipes. Would def recommend & would love to go back & stay again too, thank you

Great place the rooms were really lovely and well appointed. We had still and sparkling water on tap. Parking was located in a building just across the road and there was a convenience store very close. We did not go to the restaurant but enjoyed some evening gins at the bar and good coffee in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

Loved how they have kept the character of the original property. Shame the Asian markets are no longer there. Staff were very helpful.

Well located boutique hotel within walking distance of all the sights in Freo. The free mini bar and evening drink was an added plus. The only thing missing was a swimming pool to jump in to after a day walking around in the heat.

A special place to stay with new and modern decoration in the bathroom and in-room drinking facility. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant Emily Taylor was comfortable and the food was delicious.

Beautiful heritage hotel centrally located that is big in the little details

Great stay, room very good with everything you need (iron, hairdryer etc) . Location excellent, Christian excellent barman at the hotels ‘gin bar’ also restaurant Emily Taylors very good

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, we will most definitely stay again highly recommended.

Very quirky hotel, beautifully presented rooms incorporating modern comfort within the historical structure. Breakfast was a little limited being just a drink and pastry. Staff however were great, very friendly and accommodating.

Love the sympathetic restoration of an historic building and the best location. Not sure it’s altogether worth the nightly price and the pastry/coffee breakfast was basic. Tap sparkling water is a lovely touch. Would return if room cost was reduced

What a great place to stay, perfect location, very comfortable, spacious room and clean. Complementary mini bar and on tap sparkling water are a nice touch. Breakfast was coffee and a pastry at the bar, which was just right. Staff were friendly and really helpful.

What a unique and stunning place to stay! A gorgeous historical building with a beautifully renovated interior. Everything is well done and top quality from the bedding to the toiletries, the complimentary mini bar and sparkling water on tap. Walking distance to all the Fremantle sights. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Comfortable and clean with unique decor (I loved the bathroom and there was a cool water dispenser made out of remnant beer taps). Fantastic location but noisy due to adjacent restaurant/bar. Complimentary snacks and drinks were and added bonus.

Really enjoyed staying at the Warders. Historical, unique and luxurious. Can’t fault the room, amenities and finishing touches. Closely located to restaurants, bars and shopping. Staff were friendly, relaxed and helpful. Parking was nice and close and the room was quiet for its central location.

Lovely space. Nice contential breakfast and watching Christian mix drinks in Gimlet's is magic. Quite the master of mixology.
The only issue we had was when showering, the tile floor became as slippery as ice.

Interior rooms were beautiful and comfy. The brekkie and coffee to your room in the morning and the free drink at Gimlets is a lovely touch. Wish we were there for longer! Will come back

Hi we enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfy. However the polished slate in bathroom was very danderous for the young ones and me also. And was very dissapointed in the breakfast included option. It def wasnt breakfast more like a morning tea

New rooms across a busy road from reception. Electronic access did not work 2 days running. Staff friendly but having to constantly problem solve.

Sleep wasn’t that great as bed linen average and curtains are either shut very dark or open and everyone can see in. Was interested in some of the history, but reception didn’t know anything. Room wasn’t explained and free mini bar was about 6 items. Water tap was lovely.

I understand the building was only renovated over a month ago, but everything was very clean and pleasant to use. Amenities were of great quality and I have never stayed in a hotel where the minibar was free. This was a pleasant surprise and an aspect of this service that would bring me back in the future. Small things like this go a long way. If I was to criticise anything, the self-serve still and sparkling taps were too pressured and flooded out of the cups every time I used them. Netflix was also unavailable on the tv channel, it would’ve been great to wind down after a late evening, but not a big issue. Overall, we’d come again! Do you have bath tub options in other rooms? It would really suit the aesthetic.

Loved staying at the Warders! Historical yet modern, the hotel goes above & beyond providing a free mini bar, still & sparkling cold water on tap in your room, beautiful bathroom products, a free drink voucher & free breakfast coffee/pastry vouchers. The location was perfect as could walk to the markets, shops, restaurants & comedy lounge. Loved our mini break to Freo!
