I CAME THERE FROM 1/15/2024 TO 2/17/2024;.. I SPENT A TOTAL OF $4,408.13. OVER A MONTH. NOT AT NO TIME WAS OFFERDED A DISCOUNT PRICE. NEVER SAW A HOUSEKEEPER
ASK MANY TIMES SO I BROUGHT MY OWN BROOM AND MOP .. BUT THE WORSE PART WAS I STAYED THERE OVER A MONTH AND THEN THEY TELL ME THEY RENTED THE ROOM I WAS STAYING IN SO I HAD TO GO BY 11AM THAT MORNING IN A SNOW STORM . A JERSEY CITY HEALTH CARE WORKER . I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED ON HOW O WAS TREATED AFTER PAYING MY HARD EARN MONEY ..

The reviews of this place made me unsure what to expect. It was much nicer than expected. We also went in the off season, it seemed like there weren’t many people staying. Our room was on the 4th floor.
Cons:
-there is not always desk staff, and one time they did not answer the phone. Call in advance before you arrive and tell them when you plan to arrive when you make the reservation.
-no key cards which is a bonus, but the keypad doorknob was a little loose and felt easy to bypass. That said, the location felt safe and so did the area.
-No limit on how wide the windows can open and no safety bars. Being on a high floor, it was a little negligent. Nice that the windows opened all the way but I’d be concerned for peoples safety.
-the sheets were clean but stained.
Pros:
-AMAZING walkable area. Very Jersey City for sure, don’t get me wrong, but we walked all over the surrounded areas and never felt unsafe. There’s a review that says there are “gangsters” everywhere and I’m positive that was just a racist reviewer. The area is extremely diverse, energetic, and had great food. Lots of young couples walking around even at night. And, it’s very close to the PATH station for getting into Manhattan, and a parking garage is like two blocks away.
-you can be nit picky about the room, but it was a great value for the price. It’s like a great little studio apartment in there. The building itself was also quite nice and well taken care of.
Overall it’s a great value for the money!

Everything about my stay was fine

Hotel was updated. Very clean. Quiet.
My only complaint was the shower. There was very little water pressure and water does not get warm! Barely lukewarm. It was very unpleasant.

The room even if it looked pretty new it wasn't clean and the smell of smoke/cigarette at the arrival was unbearable, the sofa especially smelled like a giant ashtray. The temperature of the water in the bathroom does not go beyond lukewarm and air conditioning didn't work. Having said that, the guys at the reception are very nice and welcoming. The location is ok because of its close distance to the Path station of Journal Square, but in the surroundings there's pretty much nothing to do. I honestly wouldn't come back.

I enjoyed my stay at Peachtree suites there like little apartments in a great location. I would stay there again

Located within a 5-minute walk from Journal Square, the property seems to be a repurposed condo development. The unit I stayed in was a full condo, with a kitchen and balcony. There was a good amount of space and wifi was good. Unlike a hotel, the front desk was not staffed when I arrived after midnight, requiring me to phone someone. There also did not appear to be amenities like a gym. However, this was a budget friendly choice for me as I needed a place to stay that was closer to a hotel room than a hostel, and within reasonable distance of Manhattan and the airport. Would recommend staying here if one was planning to explore Jersey City or its area, otherwise it might be a bit inconvenient if traveling further afield.

I inform the guy at the front desk that one of my rooms did not have any hangers and he said someone would come, but no one didn't. I also informed him that the handle on the freezer door pops off and he said someone would take care of it, but no one did.

Recently updated, very clean, excellent appliances and comfortable beds. Well-stocked suite; even had a hot water pot for tea. Owner/manager very helpful and responded promptly when we needed something.
Neighborhood is extremely noisy but it did not bother me and that’s not his fault. Also did not bother me, but there is no one at the desk after hours; you let yourself in with a code, and can call owner ( he lives next door) if you need something. It is a suite, meaning they do not change towels or clean room daily, but we had plenty of supplies to start out. Many excellent Indian restaurants in the area. Right near PATH trains; maybe two block walk. I would give it five stars for sure if the neighborhood were quieter, but that was okay for us. I would stay here again.

The bed was very uncomfortable, there was a lot of broken fixtures, the room wasn't properly cleaned, don't think I'd stay there again.

Friendly staff, room amenities were great. Very close to PATH station, easy access to NYC. Air conditioning did not work well and it was warm. Could have been cleaned more thoroughly prior to check in.

Arrived to check in and the door was locked and no one was working at the front desk. We waited outside for over 30 minutes and only got let in from another guest. The phone rang and rang before someone finally answered, and then finally arrived by car to check us in. The room was filthy, with a dirty bathtub, dirty dishes, and hairs and kleenex behind our bed. No one was at the front desk once again for checkout.

It's convenient. The morning staff are nowhere to be seen though..

Nice little boutique hotel in Jersey City. Easy checkin. Walkable from Journal Square PATH. No parking onsite. Garages nearby, but high daily rate. Walking distance of restaurants & shopping. On a residential street, but street/construction noise overnight. Very new and clean inside. Coffee & kettle, fridge, stove, microwave & dishwasher in-room. Keypad entry to building and room. Pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

Peachtree Suites was very clean and is located next to many shops, the PATH train and dining. The front desk staff also nicely let us store our luggage for a few hours after we checked out before our flight. Definitely would stay again!

Love this hotel. Treat yourselves to comfort and convenience. The rooms are clean, kitchen supplies and dinnerware good supply and the employees are great. Path system 2 blocks away so just buy a ticket and go to nyc in 10 minutes.
And treat yourself to the breakfast lunch bistro
Right next door best breakfast sandwich is avocado, turkey, bacon , tomato, cheese and special sauce is delicious. Thanks guys you made my vacation wonderful. Do both the hotel and bistro well worth your trip.

The staff was meh, the room was riddled with flies on day 1 went down to the first floor and no one was there. No one came by to clean at any point during the stay and I was awaken multiple times by loud noises from other guests and someone opening my door at 7AM while sleeping via code.

Really clean. New facilities, nice environment and settings. Friendly and helpful staffs!

The property was amazing and the location was amazing. The only fault is how hot the rooms are. You constsntly have to put the single room AC unit on "powerful mode" to try to stay cool.

Found hair in the shower and in the clean linens upon arrival. Noisy neighbors in room nearby and sounds of walking across floor from above. Limited staff available to speak to at front desk, depending on time of day. No local parking, needed to pay garage fees. Strange smells in pillows, did not smell of bleach or disinfectant.

New property, clean and convenient. It was beautiful

The doors are code activated. Went to the 5th floor and he gave us the wrong code, went back downstairs and got a correct one. It was raining and when we got into the room the window was open with no screen!!
The bathroom was not working; when we mentioned it to the front desk they simply stated "we fixed it this morning". They offered to move our room to another hotel next door but we were already on our way our with an uber outside. We asked if we can do it when we come back but he stated there is no front desk after 11PM.
On top of that, the fire alarm went off for about 10 minutes. We ran downstairs realizing it was only our room that the alarm went off in. We mentioned it to the front desk in the morning and he wasn't even shocked. He just said okay, thanks.
Its not worth the stay.

Very efficient with personal pin access to property and room.Very clean and well furnished. friendly helpful staff. Super handy to Path train station. Will stay again.

The best adavantage is its location, quite close to train station and easy to go to downtown. The room is not sound-insulation, i could hear clearly from neighbor room and from up-stair; The air condition is not working; the water is not hot at least in one night, maybe because it's after mid-night. The coffee machine is too dirty to be cleaned. The oven and dishwasher and refrigerator are good but there is not chopping board. In one word, it does not deserve the price I have paid, I will not choose this one next time.
2.0
Good location at a reasonable price. Property marketed as a luxury boutique hotel which it is not. It’s a self-service property. Traffic noise can be loud at times as it’s just off the main road. We also had some noisy guests over weekend that disturbed our sleep.
