This hotel is really great. Just across PCH from the beach with VERY easy access to walk to the beach. The bed is super comfy and the room was very spacious. Easy in and out and plenty of parking. The little restaurant next door, CHOW has some must try foods - so yummy!

The stay was quite nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no telephone in the room and the television did not have local channels, only RoKu streaming The reservation desk was quite helpful and friendly, especially Johnny. He was always there to help with any questions or concerns.

Good location but very noisy

Only complaint would be the loud AC unit. Other than that it was great, perfect location.

It was okay. Our sink quit draining half way through the trip. It was pretty bad. I ended up telling them and they did refund me $50 because of it so that was nice. The water temperature was also pretty cold. I took mostly cold showers. But the bed was comfortable and the location is great! No microwave in the room. Which was a little inconvenient but not a huge deal.

I did like the white clean sheets on the bed but that was about it, all the rest does not look like a hotel . Dust everywhere , limited furniture. My room looked more like somebody moved and had not too much money too spend on furniture or time to clean. No closet , no safe not even a slow closing toilet seat and speaking of toilet all the towels are sitting right above it. Disappointing and definitely overpriced.

Amazing spot, right across from a beautiful beach. All the staff were wonderful, very homey feeling neughnourhood.

I liked the property overall. I found my room to not have adequate lighting, 3 IKEA looking lamps and one did not work. The bed was comfortable and the room space was nice. I was on the front street side so I did hear some road noise but they leave ear plugs in the room for guests. I did hear the person above me allowing their child to stomp around. The lights were out in the elevator and the temporary light went off while in the elevator so it was dark but not a big deal, just something to note. I like the door combo checkin, no room key needed just a combo code so that was nice. I would start there again.

The bed was smaller then i ordered , no refreshing of the room. The price was good.

Elevator lights were out. Stubbed my toe coming out of elevator because it doesn’t stop on 3rd floor level to floor. No lights so couldn’t see. Very dangerous. Toilet paper holder needs to be repaired. Location is great.

Great area but a little run down for the price.

Was great to be able to check in early and out late. I had to pay for it which was fine, but glad they provided that option.

No basic cable or at least we couldn't figure it out. The receptionist was a joke. Didn't even look up when I asked a question. Answers were one word answer. Not helpful at all. Although the room was clean enough, the duvet had huge lumps all over it. I originally thought maybe somebody was under the covers or they left all their laundry under the sheets. I tried calling the front desk to see if we could get a different room but there was no way to get in touch with the front desk. My call was rerouted to a call center somewhere outside the USA. They told me I could move to another room for an additional fee. I politely told her no thank you but that we would not ge staying here again (which is a bummer because we stayed there before it changed hands and it was amazing). I really think it's an Airbnb now instead of a hotel because they don't even have a key to let you into your room. They send you a code for the keypad only. I would not recommend.

My son was there and lost his ID but had paperwork so they were so gracious to give him a room and he lost his phone and the staff members were so wonderful to let him use his phone to try to contact me to get him another phone. He had a great time and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff. Thanks guys keep it up.

Parking was so close together that I could barely open my door.

The property is as great location convenient to with Newport area or Huntington beach area. Had dinner at Baja Sharkeez good ambient. The rooms very nice and clean. No noise at night or day. Had a window facing the ocean. Coffee was available at the lobby and in rooms as well as a mini fridge. Very very pleased will definitely be back.

Location is amazing. Staff was super helpful and responsive. Room could use a desk or place to work. Will def book again on next OC trip.

I have stayed at this property at least 10 times. The location is great, the parking is convenient, and the hotel is a good value for the room rate. I am happy to make another reservation to stay there the next time I am in Newport Beach.

I thought it was unquie they had self service area for towels and some toiletries.

Cute boutique hotel only a block away from the beach. Unfortunately my experience was ruined by guest disturbance right above my room which lasted until 3am. I honestly thought the woman was going to jump off the balcony as upset as she was yelling at her companion. This is a new breed of boutique hotels w no staff on site or help past a certain hour of the evening and I didn't see or hear any security no phone number to call for assistance in case of an emergency. My entire communication when that disturbance took place was via chat.

Very disappointing from Sonder. The place was dark box and very ( i mean VERY) noisy. Do not stay here.

Checking in is ridiculous and impersonal. I spent close to an hour jumping through all the hoops. Also wasn’t told upfront that you have to pay $20 a day plus tax just to park. In the room they don’t provide a table or desk and chairs. They give you a balcony but no way to sit out on it. The staff was pleasant and the coffee was good. The pool wasn’t heated and so was not usable.

This is the most perfect part of Coast Highway! It feels so "at home" Beautiful and happy place to spend your time no matter the occasion.

First there are lots of pros and cons with any hotel stay, I’m going to do a tell-all type review. Multiple Check-in emails 1.5 months prior to a 2 day stay was a bit annoying. Getting into the building was very easy with the codes. This property has a bit of a hands off approach, there are QR codes for everything. Parking is easy. Residential location. Room: The bed was comfortable, on the firmer side. Pillows were great for a back and side sleeper. The room is somewhat modern, but could use some better furniture placement. We wanted to move things around and questioned the one chair and nesting tables as nightstands. Roku TV was great. The mini fridge and coffee maker should have been on the empty opposite wall, along with one more chair/ottoman for a seating area and an additional outlet. We moved the coffee maker to the bathroom to access power. There was a hidden power strip on the dresser, but not really that accessible or obvious it was there. Speaking of coffee, it was good for pod coffee. Snacks and water is a thoughtful touch. Bathroom: bowl sink & faucet are too far apart which makes water spill onto the counter behind if in low-flow. The LED mirror is nice. The hot water is SO hot, and there's some adjusting for that perfect temp. The 3 built in body wash/shampoo/conditioner in the shower is nice. Had enough towels for 2 people but not enough hooks or towel holders. Fairly quiet location except for the people arguing in the hall at 3a. Pool looked nice.

Very clean property and the balcony room overlooking PCH1 and a view of the beach was awesome! Would stay here again. Only missing a workout room but walks on the beach sufficed. ~15min away from everything you would need.
