We had a great time, the management was very atentious. We loved the care of adding a Christmas tree and other holiday decorations. It was lovely and we felt welcome. The property had all we needed. We recommend having a 4x4, just in case it snows...

We went to visit our daughter at App State. It was a great place to let her catch her breath and escape dorm life for a weekend. Super quiet and the furnishings were super comfortable. Loved the soft sheets and soft towels. Only downside you could hear every step your upstairs neighbor took. That being said it was the the only way we knew anyone else was there.

We enjoyed the condo but Vacasa was not helpful when it came to a couple of issues. The key was left in the door by the cleaning crew because we arrived when she was still there. So we didn't know it until the next day, and had trouble finding the key to the place or the lock box! I reported/requested help with TV issues on Tuesday, and by Sunday, there was still no response. VRBO typically helps us communicate directly with the host/owner. But Vacasa is a robotic third party that manages these mountain properties.

Lovely well maintained and nicely decorated condo. Beds were very comfortable. The sheets were scratchy though. Bathrooms were roomy. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Porch is lovely. A/C is not central so the second bedroom gets warm on days it’s too hot to keep windows open. A nice fan that’s provided helped. Great location for Banner Elk and Boone.

From the minute we walked in we were impressed. The condo has plenty of space in the main living area. It definitely has the feel of a mountain home. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook also . The condo is centrally located so it’s easy to get to all the other mountain towns close by . And if you like to meet people & listen to live music & have a bottle of wine , be sure & checkout Grandfather Vineyard. All in all very pleased & we definitely would like to stay here again. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it’s only partially air conditioned. The main living area is A/C & it works very well so we were able to cool down other parts of condo pretty good during the day .

We absolutely loved this condo! The location, the cozy feel, the comfy beds, the balcony….and it was all spotless! Groceries and restaurants are less than 10 minute away, and you are a quick drive to both Banner Elk and Boone for even more exploring, eating and shopping. We enjoyed nearby Linville Caverns (cave tour) and Linville Falls. All around excellent property!

We were looking for a quiet place to recharge during spring break. The Positive Altitude was just what we were looking for! We found the area quiet and centrally located for the different areas that we explored. We would highly recommend this property.

Stayed 3 nights to visit App State and hike in the mountains. Condo is centrally located and easily accessible. We enjoyed the deck and well appointed home. As this property is managed by Vacasa, you need to bring your own toilet paper! Despite excellent pre trip communication, this little fact was omitted. Upon contacting Vacasa, they politely let us know that they supply a “starter kit” which was a half roll so we had to make another unexpected run to the store. This is a successful way to irritate your customers. Otherwise our stay was great!

Very nice Mountain View and decor. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door! Very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I would change is to stay longer. 😊 but there is always next time!!!! We will be coming back.

The condo was perfectly clean, nicely appointed, and the kitchen was stocked as well as any rental we've seen. This middle level condo does not require going up and down any stairs, and parking is right out the door. There's a nice view of Grandfather Mountain over the trees. The only downside was the maintenance going on while we were there. There were workers just outside the balcony and windows on scaffolding replacing the siding, which was kind of awkward.

The condo was centrally located to Boone, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all pots, pans and utensils needed for a family meal. We had a wonderful view of Grandfather Mountain that our 2 children loved. The gas log fireplace was perfect for the 27 degree weather and light dusting of snow. Our children loved the DVD collection and checkers table. We will definitely book again.

We loved our stay at this property. It is perfect for a family of four. It is very well equipped and has everything to make your stay comfortable. The cushions in the living room definitely needs a wash.. but other than that it was great! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends

This place is very cozy and comfortable and very carefully planned and organized to give you the best experience. Outside patio is gorgeous to sit outside and have some quality time while enjoying the view of mountains. This property is managed by a property management company. You have to fill out their paperworks and provide your DOB for them to verify your identity with some third party company. We got there an hour early driving 12 hours from Florida with little kids but they wouldn’t let us check-in until it is time even though we have the keys from the lockbox. I know this wouldn’t be the case if you’re directly working with the property host. Other than this we had a great time and absolutely enjoyed the stay.
