Guests have access to the finished lower level, with shared access to the front door and main level hallway, shared access to the patio through the main level kitchen and shared access to the patio attached to the kitchen, backyard fire pit and reading garden. Whether you’re looking for a multi-day stay in a central location or just passing through, Custom Rustic has everything you need with over 600 sq. ft of space . High Speed WiFi Driveway parking **Garage parking for Motorcycles** **Garage storage for ski equipment or kayaks etc** 1 Queen bed and a twin sleeper sofa, and a twin-sized roll-away bed Sleep 4 comfortably with space for a queen air mattress upon request. (All bedding, linens, and pillows are provided and sanitized between each guest). Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Pot (reg & decaf coffee plus tea included) All condiments are included as well as the following snacks at no cost: - chips - jerky - instant oatmeal cups - Kraft Mac-n-Cheese cups - cookies - microwave popcorn - bottled water Hair Dryer and Flat Iron, Iron and Ironing Board Towels, wash cloths & bathroom toiletries DVD player with TONs of DVDs if weather turns bad Board games and cards Books about local culture and Wisconsin This is an owner occupied property and guests will need to navigate stairs to use the space. This is NOT a pet friendly space. We are both allergic so there are no exceptions. Guests will enter using the keypad on the front door. Proceed down the short hallway and turn right to access the stairs to the lower level. **You must be able to navigate stairs.** The lower level also features a private full bathroom with standup shower (towels included), living area with loveseat that has a twin pullout bed if needed, dining/work area, and a rustic bar with two stools. ***Shared access to the main level kitchen is available for stays of 6 or more nights**** ****shared Wash machine and dryer available on the main level upon request, but only during evening hours as they are located in my home “office”.***** **Driveway parking is available for one vehicle - you will see cones in the driveway- please park directly in front of the cones.*** **Please use the front door for entering or exiting - unless you are using the backyard. Please do not exit through the garage. **** Other things to note: There may be some details we forget and would love to get your feedback.

The basement where we stayed was very nice and had plenty of space for 6 people. It can be a bit tricky to find the basement at first as you go through the house to get there but once we were in we had no problems. The house is also conveniently located between the Granite peak ski hill and the Sylvan park tubing hill which was great to be able to do both!

The apartment was beautiful. I enjoyed the space and what was offered in the room. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and extras. Tara and Allen were very accommodating and down right wonderful people. I will be staying again the next time I’m in Wausau.

This place is so cozy you feel at home right away! The owners are real accommodating and very nice, the suite is decorated so cute and the entire vibe is pure comfort. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay the best it can be, glad we found this little gem! Will definitely stay again when in the area. You gotta check it out!

The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. Nice location. I kinda wished that there was a bit more privacy but it all worked out. Because of our schedule we actually didn't spend much time there. I really appreciated the fact of the hosts allowing us to split the weekend in half so we can stay only Saturday night.

The downstairs of the home was completely private. We did not see the owners but they were very responsive and kind in communications and we were even graciously allowed a bit of extra time to check out due to late arrival.

As a frequent visitor to Wausau, Custom Rustic is now our go to accommodation for an extended stay. A very warm welcome and wonderful discovery of such a cozy and comfortable place to stay at a very reasonable rate compared to other Wausau offerings we have tried. Slept very well in a quiet peaceful space and bed. Usually find at least one thing to comment on to improve but not at Custom Rustic. You have to stay to fully appreciate what Tara and Allan provide to their guests.

We where not aware that owners will be staying with us. We tough we rented a whole house. We decided not to stay at all. I would never rent from Vrbo again. It was first and last time

Very accommodating and kind. The space was perfect for us (3 total) and allowed space to gather - inside & out. Lots of games. In a well kept neighborhood. Appreciate the artistic decor in space. Will go back.

Tara and Allan were so great! Property was super clean and lots of snacks and goodies for us to munch on. Really soft bedding and throw blankets too. Lots of dvds to watch and we couldn’t think of anything we would change about this place! This getaway was 4 hours away from our home and very very worth it!! Would stay again!!
