It looked lovely but needed the restaurant to be open.
Friendly staff, lovely clean room, comfortable bed
The restaurant and bar were shut for refurb, I wasn’t aware of that when I booked. Also the air con fan was on heavy all night, I couldn’t stop it or turn the fan down, clearly it could be user error.

Very pleasant, comfortable, friendly & helpful
Refurbished to a lovely standard in a lovely quiet village in Surrey
Shame the restaurant and bar wasn’t open as new management was waiting to be confirmed as there’s no other pub in walking distance but this will change. I prefer a cooked breakfast in the morning.

We had a decents night sleep .
Location was fine , but didn't get to experience breakfast as the kitchen was closed. Staff member we saw certainly did his best to help.
There was a lot of hair left in the bathroom which was a bit off putting. My wife decided to wash her hair in the morning, in the impressive shower, only to find no hairdryer, and not a sole in the building to ask for one. It was a pity about the closure of the kitchen although we get that that can happen.

Lovely setting, comfortable room, really fab place to stay! And manager was just amazing - very hospitable to me when I needed help. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly!

Such a relief to get a good nights sleep at the end of a long day.
This was a last minute booking but really good service and the rooms were a really joyful surprise - clean, modern fittings and quirky. The beds were comfy, the water hot and the extras thoughtful and good quality.
The only downside was the green sensor lights in the room meant it never got truly dark.
