Nestled in Monarch Beach, this lovely condo for £203 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. 2bd/2bath(en suite) Monarch Beach Condo! Living room with shutters, 42-inch plasma & TV. The unit has travertine tiled bathroom floors, 2bedroom, 2bath Monarch Beach ceramic tile in the kitchen, vinyl wood floor throughout. Enjoy your meals in the separate dining room or eat-in-kitchen, or on the tree-enclosed patio table on the balcony. The kitchen is fully-equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and all your cooking needs. The master bedroom has a king size bed with private bathroom. The second room also has Twin over Queen bunk bed and Full bed also. There is a private laundry room with washer and dryer off the rear balcony. This is a gated community with a swimming pool, club house, workout gym, and two separate jacuzzi spas (one over-looking the ocean). One flight of stairs lead up to this 1200 sq/ft top floor unit with faulted ceilings. One assigned parking space with plenty of quest parking. This relaxing and tastefully decorated unit is perfect for two couples or a family looking for a beach retreat. *Since I also utilize this condo, I require firm, supportive mattresses with sterile, soft, clean, white cotton bedding (which, unlike floral polyester, must be washed and bleached every turn-over). Please understand that you could be charged if there is: Damage to the property or furnishings (please treat the unit you would you own home)(white cotton bedding, comforters, & duvets, so please watch for anything that will stain) Irresponsible use of power – Please understand that we (owners) cannot afford renters who leave the climate control running all day while they are gone or when windows are open. This will amount to massive electric and/or gas bills. You are covered up to $5 per day ($150/month) of your usage which is about 15 kilowatt hours per day or 5 “therms”/day and should be plenty. Anything over an average of $5/day will be deducted from your deposit. If you’d like extra heat or AC, you’re welcome to pay for it. The meter will be recorded and documented immediately before and after your arrival and departure. Please feel welcome to do the same. Simply turn off the heater when you don’t need it, when you are gone, and if the windows or doors are open. Also, turn off any unnecessary fans, utilities, and lights and very little (if any) costs will incur. Excessive mess or dirt requiring extra cleaning, or e) any other costs incurred by Homeowner due to Guest’s stay. If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner immediately. Guest is to inform owner immediately of any damage what so every immediately or assume responsibility. Please understand if any amenities break, they will be repaided asap, but I won't be responsible for any refund. This area is closer to nature than the inner city. There could be more critters, spiders, bugs, or ants but based on the season and weather and/or if you leave food out.

Enjoyable stay. Excellent location (few minutes drive to the coast eg Dana Point Yacht Club). Close distance (few minutes drive) to local shops. Ritz Pointe Community has very good security (barrier + gate to avoid tail-gating), and 24 hours security guard at the gate. Also, regular security checks inside the community, any 'unknown' cars will be towed away.

My experience with VRBO not backing me up with the owner was very disappointing. I left property 9 days early due to emotional stress of dealing with unacceptable conditions. I will never use VRBO again and will tell my friends and family to not use them either!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kyle's condo. The unit was just the right size for our family of 4. Besides it being super clean, the condo was comfortable and the location is central for exploring the beautiful beaches within a few miles. We really enjoyed the walk to the beach.
The complex is quiet and convenient to stores and restaurants.

Great location, great place to stay :)

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kyle's home in Monarch Beach. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable (especially the bed!). We are also very particular when it comes to noise and we did not hear a peep from neighbors our entire stay - it also probably helped that we were the only condo on the top floor. We were able to visit the community condo pool which was busy but accommodated our needs especially since it was very hot in the OC those two days.
Thanks Kyle for having us in your home and we hope to return in the future!

We were able to visit the community condo pool which was busy but accommodated our needs especially since it was very hot in the OC those two days.

We all had a great time, the place was nice. No bbq though and that would have been nice. No extra rolls of toilet paper or paper towels, just something for future renters to know. Kyle was very nice and easy to deal with, all in all a great vacation 😉

We loved this place...
We loved the place…. beautiful beaches, perfect weather, clean surrounding area and close to Los Angeles, San Diego, Disneyland, etc… This condo was perfect with ours needs… neat, quiet, beautiful pool, Jacuzzi, etc… There were a few kitchen utensils that we suggested & few very minor repairs, but not a problem with our needs. We recommend this place especially with this value.

Very comfortable and secure, beautiful area
My husband, two teenage sons and mother all stayed in this condo this past week. We were honestly nervous because there aren't many reviews, but things went like clockwork. The home is very comfortable and clean, the beds are nice, it has a separate washer & dryer on the patio in it's own little room. There are two bathrooms - both very nice. I loved that the sink was separate from the toilet/shower in the master bath. The property is located behind a manned gate, which we really appreciated. Although the area around it isn't an unsafe area by any means. We took walks thru the complex often and always felt VERY safe. it's very well lit and clean and you just feel no harm when you are walking about. We had a covered parking spot, use of the community pool and two hot tubs and there is also a work out room - although I didn't get a chance to visit that. The owner is good about getting back to you with any questions and we greatly appreciated getting our deposit refunded very quickly. I wouldn't attempt walking to the beach because I'm not quite sure how you would go about it - but it's a short car ride. Just 5 minutes away is a fantastic park to watch the sunset from or take walks overlooking the ocean. It's in proximity to nearly everything you would want to do in the area. We would totally recommend this property to anyone wanting to rent in Dana Point. Only a small warning that really didn't affect us greatly, but might be nice to know for future renters - the condo is limited on hand soap, toilet paper, etc. But there was plenty of laundry and dish soap for us and plenty of towels and sheets, etc. Again - we would recommend this home to other renters. Beautiful area; Monarch Beach & Laguna Beach are amazing. Could use a few updates, but the condo is well laid out & clean. We loved the clean white bedding and firm, comfortable beds. Beautiful, warm, clean pool and jacuzzi. Great trip.. We’ll be back.

We Loved our stay at this condo.
The condo was clean and comfortable for our romantic holiday in Hawaii.
The amenities are modern and all well set out.
Shops are close and have everything needed.
The community had lovely pools and was within walking distance to a beautiful cove. We saw turtles , seals and snorkelled daily.
Within short driving distance to all the best beaches on the North Shore.
The owner / operator was very responsive and left clear concise instructions, we arrived in the pitch black so that was key.
Not a negative thing to say.

Beautiful experience
We stayed for 5 weeks in this condo and we liked every minute! The condo is in an excellent surrounding, on walking distance from golf course and the ocean. It is in a closed community. Good beds, nice kitchen, and well equipped. Shops are in the neighborhood. We had a great time!

Great experience
Place was clean and comfortable for four of us. Was convenient to wedding we were attending at the Ritz. It was great to have a code to get in so we didn't have to worry about coordinating keys. Owner was very responsive and accomodating. No complaints!

Had a great stay
The listing and photos accurately described the property. The owner was readily available to answer questions, before and during our rental. The pool was clean and well maintained. The beds were really comfortable. The unit was well furnished, clean and well decorated. The Tupperware containers were a really thoughtful touch. We used them to pack our lunches when we went out to various attractions. Saved us some money and made for better lunches than burgers and fries. The location was great. Close enough to the ocean that the temperatures were moderate (we stayed at the end of August). No problems getting to the interstate or to anywhere else for that matter.

Great Family Vacation
Had a minor issue with the guard gate the first day, but the owner straitened it out right away. Looks like his last house painter wasn’t especially skilled, but otherwise very nice place… tastefully furnished and clean. Can walk to the beach if you want but takes about 15minutes. We were a little lazy and drove much of the time. Great vacation though… we booked it again for next year.

Nicer than we expected
Owner was very accommodating and nice. This place was actually nicer than I expected. A firm bed is very important to me.. had to be careful with the kids on the pure white cotton bedding. Gorgeous, 5 star resort area for a fraction of the price. Went boating at the marina, spent a lot of time at the pool/spa, down at Salt Creek & Strands beaches, and some other secret coves up the coast. The whole area was beautiful to drive around, eat, window shop, etc… especially Laguna Beach. Great trip. Will be back.

This condo was a great bang for the buck! We biked to the beach and were literally right next door to the beautiful St. Regis. With two young children we always stay in vacation rentals. This condo was nicely decorated (the beds reminded us of the "heavenly" beds from the Westin hotels). When my kids weren't at the beach, we were able to take them to the pool while my husband and I relaxed in the jacuzzi. On a few occassions, we had the pool to ourselves. The community guard was kind enough to point out a few good eating spots too but we mostly cooked and barbequed. The home was uncluttered and very comfortable. We'll definitely try and book this place when we come back to Orange County.

We took our two kids away for a Spring Break long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Location is great for walking down to the beach, through the golf links. Handy to nip to shops nearby and trip into both Dana Point for breakfast and Laguna Beach for Saturday market.
The apartment was well appointed, and the owner was really helpful. He had just had the place redecorated before our stay and he nipped out to replace the BBQ which we used every night on the balcony in the evening sun. The bedrooms were very lovely and the dining room was great for us as a family of four.
It was also great to have access to the shared pool area.
