Older home situated in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Large back deck in need of outdoor seating. Large master suite with a huge bathroom but hot water tank does not fill the tub. There are 2 additional bedrooms. The room with the double bed was almost unusable as the bedframe tilts funny and your head is lower than your body, the room was way too hot even with the fan going and the windows open at night. The bedding and sheets are the cheapest you can buy but they were clean. The house itself was tidy but maybe not clean? Glasses in the cupboard with lipstick stains on them (we washed every plate and utensil before using them when we saw that) Roomba for the carpets but I don't think it gets all the areas. Old fashioned drapes in the sitting areas and they seem old. The photos for this listing seem to have been brightened as the house is quite dark in person. There were 2 weird little stickers on the door frame going from the kitchen area to the back deck they were footprints with a swastika. The TV & stereo were not able to be used as nothing seemed to be plugged in and batteries were missing from the remotes; there were so many wires and remotes we were unable to figure out what was wrong with it. There is slow WiFi. I am unable to post $ reviews, but this rental was extremely overpriced for what it was - would I stay again? It is currently advertised at less than half of what we paid so maybe at the discounted price? I would have to think about it.

This is clearly a beloved family home. There are a few closets and another room as well as the garage that are not accessible to guests. It is spacious and accommodated our group of 4 adults and 2 children well. The two family rooms and two eating spaces meant that the group could be together without being on top of each other the entire time. The rooms were also spacious. The master suite is very large and the jacuzzi tub was a hit. As a vacation property it could use a few updates: - The sink in the half bath on the main level has a glass bowl that is not secured to the frame. As a result, the 5 year old bumped it while washing hands and the plumbing broke! The property manager came the next day and repaired, but it made that bathroom not suitable for children's use and they had to use the upstairs bathrooms. There was no coffee maker. The listing didn't say there would be one, in retrospect, but came as a surprise given that most listings offer them. The backyard is beautiful and surrounded by a ravine and a creek. Unfortunately, the only thing separating the ravine from the yard are short, but lovely, logs. We advise those traveling with small children to be aware of that. We saw a deer and a bunny in the yard the second day. That was a highlight for the little one! The hot water heater may have a smaller storage capacity, as it was not sufficient to fill the jacuzzi tub with warm water. The water was cold from the tap before the tub filled up.
