The house was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We needed a house close to family but not exactly WITH them, if you catch my drift. The way the house was arranged and stocked is perfect for families, the boats are great, the ping pong table is great - it was all wonderful for what we needed.

Brining my son home from USC for a short Thanksgiving break is too difficult so it is easier for us to go to him. This house couldn't be more perfect for a family getaway. House is updated, clean, spacious and beds are comfortable. We couldn't believe all of the utensils that were there; we didn't need to bring a thing to cook every night, including Thanksgiving. Matt (the owner) was extremely easy to communicate with and responded almost immediately to our questions, both prior to and upon arrival. The view is beautiful, the location is remote yet convenient to shopping and restaurants and Columbia. Thanks Matt and Jodie!

Very nice home right on the lake. Nice yard and quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were nice too. Very peaceful area.

We stayed here with another family. We had a total of 4 adults and 5 kids, the accommodations were perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone, everyone had their own bed! The bunk room was perfect! The morning view was spectacular! We all thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table and kayaks! The location is perfect as well, the dock is located in a cove that was not at all busy with boat traffic, and the dock was able to accommodate our 23ft boat. Can not recommend this place enough for anyone looking to get away and enjoy some time on the lake!

-thoroughly enjoyed this well-furnished home! The entire back part of the house is full of windows to enjoy the lake view, which is at the beginning of a cove, so it was very peaceful. We had a mixed-age crowd so it was perfectly appointed for this: young people could play ping-pong & enjoy kayaks & the dock. Adults had several places to gather in conversation-groups of 3-4. There's a large, well-appointed kitchen in the middle with two "bars" so it was easy to set out food and have folks mill about. Fridge was perfect size to hold a lot of food. Gas grill was a perfect size to grill a bunch of burgers. A/C worked great, even in the "sun room" off the back part of house, where most enjoyed hanging out for water-view. Beds were comfortable; bunk room was darling, nice linens & towels, and plenty of tvs for varying tastes. Neighbors across street were friendly. Grocery stores & restaurants are a short drive away. The best part was being able to float on noodles in the lake without worry of being mowed down by boats or jet skis. And (!) b/c it was July, we were entertained nightly with all the Purple Martins that use a nearby island as a stopping point on their migration to South America; it truly was something to behold b/c of their numbers and how they gather, then take flight en masse, swooping over the lake in aerial patterns. They're only active for about an hour at sundown so it was an unexpected serendipity!

We really enjoyed our stay! Wonderful dock, view and amenities provided. Home was clean and overall it was an easy process. We really appreciate it!
