We travel to Cornelius 5+ times per year and this is absolutely our favorite neighborhood and condo complex to stay in! Super clean condo with comfortable furnishings and wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, plus a beautiful view of the Lake Norman. The condo is located within close proximity to tons of stores and restaurants and it's an easy drive to nearby towns such as Davidson, Mooresville, and even the Uptown Charlotte area. Unbelievably easy check-in process and prompt response by the property manager when we had a silly question about the TV. Can't wait to be back!

We have been using many VRBO properties for our vacation. I can tell that this condo is clean and updated. The community pool was close and well maintained. It was convenient for us since the restaurants and grocery shops are close from the condo. Our family enjoyed staying there and want to book it for next year again!

We own two units at this property and needed a third to accommodate additional family members who were visiting the area while on their way to see more family overseas. This Lake Escape condo provided our family with beautiful accommodations during their visit. The condo was exactly as described — extremely clean, super comfortable, and most importantly, it contained all the comforts of home (and more). We were extremely impressed and grateful to the hosts for their honesty and hospitality. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient spot on Lake Norman to call home if only for a short while.

We want to thank Katie and the owners of this beautiful condo on Lake Norman for providing such an amazing location to escape the busy-ness of the holiday season and recharge. Booking was easy and Katie responded very quickly to questions that we had, even providing suggestions to enhance our stay. The drive from the airport to Cornelius was very simple and quick, and there was plenty of parking right in front of our building when we entered the complex. The elevator made unloading our car extremely easy, and we knew we had found the right location for us as soon as we opened the front door and had such bright, amazing views.
The kitchen had everything that we needed throughout our stay, and the open concept of the dining area, kitchen and living room allowed us to be together even when one of us was gathering snacks and drinks. The balcony overlooking the lake was large with comfy seating and provided us with the perfect spot to sit and watch the sun rise each morning while drinking our coffee.
The primary/master bedroom was spacious, quiet and had a wonderfully comfortable king-sized bed with soft sheets. The bathroom had a very large tub, perfect for soaking at the end of a full day touring Birkdale Village.
There is so much to do on property, including a boardwalk for lakeside strolls, a pool, tennis courts, and the Port City Club (a 4-minute walk) with inside/outside dining, firepits and entertainment in the warmer months. It is a perfect location for empty nesters wanting to recharge or a family with kiddos wanting to enjoy a wide variety of activities. We cannot say enough about this beautiful vacation home, the location and Katie who was so helpful throughout our stay. We are already planning our next trip back!
